Objective To study the effect of bird's nest nursing on the vital signs, gastroenteric function, body weight and growth of premature infants. Methods 456 cases of premature infants were divided into the warm box group and the bird's nest group randomly according to odd and even number of birth, namely 228 cases in each group. The warm box group adopted routine nursing care. The bird's nest group adopted routine nursing care and bird's nest nursing in the mean time, namely the bird's nest wag put into the warm box,the premature infants slept in the pre-heated bird's nest. The condition of the two groups Was compared. Results On the first day of birth, there were no statistical difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in respiration, heart rate, milk amount and body weight. On the seventh and fourteenth day, respiration and heart rate were stable and milk amount and body weight increased rapidly in bird's nest group. There Was statistical difference(P<0.05)between the two groups. In bird's nest group, the premature had long sleeping time and body temperature-fluctuation was reduced. There was statistical differencere(P<0.01)between the two groups. Conclusions After the bird's nest was used in premature care, diseases were recovered rapidly, hospitalization days were shortened and it was beneficial to the development of intelligence and body and mind of the premature infants.

Objective:To investigate CT manifestations of perivascular epithelioid cell tumors. Methods:The multi-slice spiral CT manifestations in 11 patients with perivascular epithelioid cell tumors which were pathologically confirmed in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College between October 2012 and August 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. Results:Perivascular epithelioid cell tumors were located in the kidney of eight patients, in the right lobe of the liver of two patients, and in the descending colon of one patient. The largest tumor, approximately 20.0 cm × 26.0 cm × 11.0 cm, was located in the kidney. The smallest tumor, 2.4 cm × 2.6 cm × 3.4 cm, was located in the colon. CT plain scans showed uniform density without bleeding, calcification, or fat in two patients, and non-uniform density with fatty change in two patients. Contrast-enhanced CT images showed non-uniform enhancement in the arterial phase in 10 patients and uniform enhancement in one patient. Contrast-enhanced CT images showed decreased degrees of enhancement of the lesions in 11 patients from the portal venous phase to the delayed phase and dilated and tortuous vascular shadows in 11 patients. Conclusion:The multi-slice spiral CT manifestations of perivascular epithelioid cell tumors are characteristic and the multi-slice spiral CT is of value for the diagnosis of perivascular epithelioid cell tumors.

Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the methylation status of fragile histidine triad( FHIT) gene, human mutl homolog 1(hMLH1)gene,p16 gene, retinoic acid receptor beta( RAR-beta) gene,Reprimo gene and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 3 ( Timp3) gene in gastric cancer and corresponding paracancerous tissues. Methods The methylation levels of FHIT,hMLH1,p16,RAR-beta,Reprimo and TIMP3 genes in 42 clinically resected gastric cancer specimens and 42 corresponding paracancerous tissues were detected by sodium bisulfite sequencing. Results The average methylation rates of the genes in gastric cancer and corresponding paracancerous tissues were:FHIT(1. 50% ,1. 36% ),hMLH1(4. 77% ,0. 48% ),p16(9. 63% ,10. 36% ), RAR-beta(4. 75% ,4. 17% ),Reprimo(9. 71% ,3. 76% )and TIMP3 genes(18. 34% ,14. 06% ). Compared with the paracancerous control group, the average methylation rate of Reprimo gene was only statistically different in gastric cancer patients(P=0. 00787). The difference in methylation rate of Reprimo gene promoter in gastric cancer patients with the degree of tissue differentiation was sta-tistically significant(P<0. 05). Conclusion There has methylation in the cytosine guanidine dinucleotide island of the Reprimo gene promoter region in gastric cancer. The high methylation rate of the Reprimo gene can be used as a potential biomarker for gastric cancer to detect the early stage of gastric cancer.
