Fifteen morphologically and structurally complete sacrum specimens of normotrophic adult females were choosen. Distances between posterior sacral foramina and median sacral crest, and between the cores of adjacent posterior sacral foramina were measured. Then statistical analysis was done so as to provide objective anatomical evidence for the surface localization of Baliao points. The average distance between Shangliao (BL 31) and median sacral crest was (2.08 ± 0.19) cm; and the average distance between Ciliao (BL 32) and median sacral crest was (1.75 ± 0.12) cm; Zhongliao (BL 33), (1.59 ± 0.15) cm; Xialiao (BL 34), (1.56 ± 0.15) cm. And the distance of S₁-S₂ was (2.36 ± 0.31) cm averagely; S₂-S₃, (1.98 ± 0.23) cm; S₃-S₄, (1.71 ± 0.18) cm. It is considered that to locate Baliao points, Ciliao (BL 32) needs to be ascertained firstly.

Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women, and its morbidity is increasing gradually in recent years. Precision treatment has been developed with individualized and standardized protocols according to the molecular classification of breast cancer. Targeted therapy is one of the most important methods. How to evaluate targeted therapy is the focus of attention. PET/CT plays an im-portant role in the diagnosis, staging, treatment plan and evaluation of therapeutic effect and prognosis, es-pecially in targeted therapy of breast cancer. This review summarizes the applications of PET/CT in targeted therapy of breast cancer.

BACKGROUND:Previous studies have shown that different doses of ionizing radiation may have some impact on maturation and immune function of dendritic cells. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of 18 F-FDG with different concentrations on maturation and immune function of dendritic cells from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells in vitro. METHODS:Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells-derived mature dendritic cells were divided into five groups:PBS, 92.5×10 4, 185×104, 370×104, 740×104 Bq/mL 18 F-FDG were separately added into each group. Dendritic cells were col ected 24 hours later. Apoptosis rate, phenotypic expression (CD1α, CD80, CD83, CD86, HLA-DR), ability of mixed lymphocyte reaction and expression of macrophage inflammatory protein 1αand monocyte chemotactic factor-1 in cellculture supernatant were detected. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Apoptosis rate, phenotypic expression of CD86, ability of mixed lymphocyte reaction and expression of monocyte chemotactic factor-1 were down-regulated after culture in 740×10 4 Bq/mL 18F-FDG. However, 18F-FDG at other concentrations had no influence on maturation and immune function of dendritic cells. This study demonstrates that low-concentration 18F-FDG has little influence on apoptosis, maturation, antigen presentation, and migratory capacity of dendritic cells, and it may be selected at an appropriate concentration as a label for dendritic cells in vitro.

OBJECTIVETo explore the value of ¹⁸F-FDG PET-CT in evaluating bronchial mucosa involvement in patients with saroidosis.
METHODSA retrospective analysis was conducted among 6 sarcoidosis patients with and 14 patients without bronchial mucosa involvement to collect the data including the standard uptake value (SUVMax/Mean) of ¹⁸F-FDG, serum angiotensin converting enzyme (sACE), and proportion of lymphocytes and CD4⁺/CD8 ⁺ T lymphocyte ratio in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF).
RESULTSThe lung focal SUV(Max/Mean) was higher in patients with bronchial mucosa involvement than those without (7.04 ± 5.83/5.00 ± 4.69 vs 5.68 ± 3.66/3.82 ± 2.39), but such differences were not statistically significant (P=0.565/0.495). The SUV(Max/Mean) of the hilum of the lung and the mediastina lymph nodes were significantly higher in patients with bronchial mucosa involvement (13.28 ± 5.57/10.48 ± 4.43 vs 6.20 ± 1.77/4.52 ± 1.43, P=0.0003/0.0002; 13.84 ± 4.35/9.69 ± 2.74 vs 7.16 ± 2.52/5.28 ± 1.77, P=0.0004/0.0004). The level of sACE and CD4⁺/CD8 ⁺ T lymphocyte ratio in BALF were also significantly higher in patients with bronchial mucosa involvement (60.58 ± 16.3 vs 49.16 ± 13.3 IU/L, P=0.045; 7.30 ± 5.0 vs 2.90 ± 3.1, P=0.026). The proportion of lymphocytes in BALF was comparable between the patients with and without bronchial mucosa involvement (44.10 ± 10.3% vs 35.30 ± 12.5%, P=0.148).
CONCLUSIONSFor patients with saroidosis, ¹⁸F-FDG PET-CT is useful in evaluating bronchial mucosa involvement, which is one of the key features of active sarcoidosis.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of our self-made minimally invasive pelvic channel instrument in the treatment of pelvic ring fracture-dislocation.Methods A retrospective study was conducted of the 35 patients who had been treated for pelvic ring fracture-dislocation from December 2015 to November 2017 and fully followed up at Department I of Orthopaedis,Beijing Chaoyang Emergency Rescue Center. They were 25 males and 10 females, aged from 20 to 73 years (average,41.3 years).According to the Tile classification for pelvic fractures, there were 26 cases of type B (type B1 in 8,type B2 in 12 and type B3 in 6) and 9 cases of type C(type C1 in 5,type C2 in 3 and type C3 in 1).Infix or anterior plate combined with percutaneous internal fixation with sacroiliac cannulated screws was used in 11 patients, sacroiliac triangle fixation combined with percutaneous internal fixation with anterior ring cannulated screws in 5 ones, and internal fixation with cannulated screws for anterior and posterior rings in 19 ones. All the channels were established using our self-made minimally invasive pelvic channel instrument for internal fixation with cannulated screws. The time for each screw placement and the number of X-ray projection were recorded.Postoperative reduction, pelvic function at the final follows-ups and complications were recorded. Results A total of 84 cannulated screws were inserted in the 35 patients. The time for each cannulated screw placement ranged from 5 to 13 minutes (average,8.1 minutes);the number of X-ray projection for each screw placement ranged from 7 to 15 times (average,10.3 times).Postoperative CT showed that all the cannulated screws were located in the preset channels.According to the Matta radiological criteria, postoperative reduction quality was excellent in 29,good in 4 and fair in 2,giving a good to excellent rate of 94.3%.The follow-up time for the 35 patients ranged from 6 to 15 months (average,12.3 months). At the final follow-ups,all the patients showed fine fracture union. There was no loosening or breakage of screws in all but one patient in whom one sacroiliac screw became loose 3 months after surgery.By the Majeed criteria, the pelvic function was excellent in 27 cases, good in 5,fair in 3 and poor in one, giving a good to excellent rate of 91.4%.Conclusion Our self-made minimally invasive pelvic channel instrument can be used to establish pelvic channels, leading to more accurate placement, shorter operative time and less X-ray projection.
