Objective To evaluate the value of low-dose lung screening with 16-slice CT scanner in physical examination. Methods Lung screening was performed in 114 cases with a 16-slice spiral CT scanner. The scan parameters were 120KV,20~50mA.The reconstructive modes were standard mode and lung mode. Results 41 cases with lung diseases were detected with low-dose 16-slice spiral CT.Conclusion Low-dose 16-slice spiral CT is good for lung scanning in physical examination.

Objective To discuss the problems of using high pressure injector in the 16-detector-row CT. Methods Reviewed and analyzed the courses of using high pressure injector in the 16-detector-row CT for 799 patients. Results 774 patients obtained successful infusion, contrast medium hydrops were occurred in 20 patients,2 patients were infusion failure and 3 patients were redid for misoperation. Conclusion Master the details of operating high pressure injector can alleviate the pain of patients, and then obtain the satisfactory effect.

BACKGROUND:Previous studies have shown that different doses of ionizing radiation may have some impact on maturation and immune function of dendritic cells. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of 18 F-FDG with different concentrations on maturation and immune function of dendritic cells from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells in vitro. METHODS:Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells-derived mature dendritic cells were divided into five groups:PBS, 92.5×10 4, 185×104, 370×104, 740×104 Bq/mL 18 F-FDG were separately added into each group. Dendritic cells were col ected 24 hours later. Apoptosis rate, phenotypic expression (CD1α, CD80, CD83, CD86, HLA-DR), ability of mixed lymphocyte reaction and expression of macrophage inflammatory protein 1αand monocyte chemotactic factor-1 in cellculture supernatant were detected. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Apoptosis rate, phenotypic expression of CD86, ability of mixed lymphocyte reaction and expression of monocyte chemotactic factor-1 were down-regulated after culture in 740×10 4 Bq/mL 18F-FDG. However, 18F-FDG at other concentrations had no influence on maturation and immune function of dendritic cells. This study demonstrates that low-concentration 18F-FDG has little influence on apoptosis, maturation, antigen presentation, and migratory capacity of dendritic cells, and it may be selected at an appropriate concentration as a label for dendritic cells in vitro.

Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women, and its morbidity is increasing gradually in recent years. Precision treatment has been developed with individualized and standardized protocols according to the molecular classification of breast cancer. Targeted therapy is one of the most important methods. How to evaluate targeted therapy is the focus of attention. PET/CT plays an im-portant role in the diagnosis, staging, treatment plan and evaluation of therapeutic effect and prognosis, es-pecially in targeted therapy of breast cancer. This review summarizes the applications of PET/CT in targeted therapy of breast cancer.

Objective To discuss the value of 16-slice spiral CT urography in clinical diagnosis. Methods To compare the images between CR excretory urography,CT and MPR,which are the results of 26 cases who were examined by both CR and 16-slice spiral CT urography. Results From the comparison,it is found that the spiral CT urography images are better than that of the CR excertory urography, and at the same time, the relationship between the parenchyma of the renal, renal pelvis, ureter, bladder and the urinary organs and adjacent structures can be demonstrated clearly. Conclusion The scanning time of the spiral CT is shorter. The machine can not only reconstruct powerfully but also work out better images, and the result is better than CR excretory urography which can not detect some details in its images. Therefore CR excretory urogaphy can be replaced by 16-slice spiral CT urography regardless of its cost.

OBJECTIVETo explore the value of ¹⁸F-FDG PET-CT in evaluating bronchial mucosa involvement in patients with saroidosis.
METHODSA retrospective analysis was conducted among 6 sarcoidosis patients with and 14 patients without bronchial mucosa involvement to collect the data including the standard uptake value (SUVMax/Mean) of ¹⁸F-FDG, serum angiotensin converting enzyme (sACE), and proportion of lymphocytes and CD4⁺/CD8 ⁺ T lymphocyte ratio in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF).
RESULTSThe lung focal SUV(Max/Mean) was higher in patients with bronchial mucosa involvement than those without (7.04 ± 5.83/5.00 ± 4.69 vs 5.68 ± 3.66/3.82 ± 2.39), but such differences were not statistically significant (P=0.565/0.495). The SUV(Max/Mean) of the hilum of the lung and the mediastina lymph nodes were significantly higher in patients with bronchial mucosa involvement (13.28 ± 5.57/10.48 ± 4.43 vs 6.20 ± 1.77/4.52 ± 1.43, P=0.0003/0.0002; 13.84 ± 4.35/9.69 ± 2.74 vs 7.16 ± 2.52/5.28 ± 1.77, P=0.0004/0.0004). The level of sACE and CD4⁺/CD8 ⁺ T lymphocyte ratio in BALF were also significantly higher in patients with bronchial mucosa involvement (60.58 ± 16.3 vs 49.16 ± 13.3 IU/L, P=0.045; 7.30 ± 5.0 vs 2.90 ± 3.1, P=0.026). The proportion of lymphocytes in BALF was comparable between the patients with and without bronchial mucosa involvement (44.10 ± 10.3% vs 35.30 ± 12.5%, P=0.148).
CONCLUSIONSFor patients with saroidosis, ¹⁸F-FDG PET-CT is useful in evaluating bronchial mucosa involvement, which is one of the key features of active sarcoidosis.
