China Medical Equipment 2014;(10):106-107,108
Objective: To give full play to the basic role of medical equipment to offer advice and suggestions. Methods: the primary health institutions medical equipment in the quality management and technology security problems, analyze the cause of the problems and suggestions. Results: the basic medical service platform to create high quality excellent, the establishment of a virtuous circle of medical service. Conclusion:we should pay attention to a balanced allocation of resource of high grade medical treatment, pay attention to primary health institutions medical service platform construction.

ABSTRACTOBJECTIVE To observe the preventive effect of oxaliplatin induced peripheral neuropathy treated by fumigation of Siteng Yixian decoction.METHODS Totally 150 colorectal cancer patients from oncology department Of Hainan provincial hospital of TCM between January 2010 and December 2014 were enrolled in this study. And they were randomized into two groupswith 75 cases in each. The patients in the control group only received oxaliplatin based chemotherapy. While the pa-tients in the treatment group were given the chemotherapy combined with fumigation of Siteng Yixian decoction. The fumiga-tion lasted for forty minutes a timetwice a day. After the treatment of two cycles chemotherapythe incidence rate and sever-ity classification of peripheral neuropathy was analyzed one month later to evaluate the preventive effect.RESULTS The difference of incidence rate of peripheral neuropathy was significantwith the rate being 18.7% in the treatment group and 56. 0% in the control groupP <0.01.The severity classification was evidently higher in the control group90.37than those in the treatment group60.63and there exised a statistical significanceP <0.05.Among the patients who had second degree peripheral neuropathy or abovethe oxaliplatin accumulative dose was1 054.76±124.6in the treatment group and823.47 ±190.67 in the control groupand the difference was statistically significantP <0.05.Logistic regression indicated that fu-migation of Siteng Yixian decoction was the protective factor for the oxaliplatin?induced peripheral neuropathy.CONCLUSION Fumigation of Siteng Yixian decoction can reduce the incidence ratedecline the severity classification of oxaliplatin?induced peripheral neuropathy and increase the oxaliplatin tolerance dose.It is the independent preventive factor for oxaliplatin?induced peripheral neuropathy.

To investigate the effect of jianpi-jiedu (JPJD) prescription-contained serum on colorectal cancer SW48 cell proliferation and the underlying mechanisms.
Methods: Crude extract from JPJD was made by water extract method and the main components of crude extract from JPJD were analyzed by ultra-performance liquid phase high resolution time of flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF/MS). The low, medium, and high-concentration of JPJD-contained serum were prepared by the serum pharmacological method. The effect of serum containing JPJD on SW48 cell proliferation was determined by MTT assay. The cell cycle was detected by flow cytometric method. The protein levels of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), phospho-mTOR, P-P53, and -P21, and the mRNA level of mTOR were examined by Western blot and RT-PCR, respectively.
Results: Seven compounds including calycosin-7-glucoside, astragaloside, ginsenoside-Re, ginsenoside-Rb1, glycyrrhizinic acid, apigenin, atractylenolide-II were identified. MTT assays demonstrated that the SW48 cell proliferation was inhibited by medium and high concentration of JPJD-contained serum and the percentages of cells at G1 phase in SW48 cell cultured in the medium and high concentration of JPJD serum group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the levels of mTOR mRNA and phospho-mTOR protein in the medium and high concentration of JPJD serum groups were substantially lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conversely, the expressions of phospho-P53 and P21 protein were significantly increased in the medium and high concentration of JPJD serum group compared with those in the control group.
Conclusion: JPJD prescription-contained serum can inhibit SW48 cell proliferation, which may be related to mTOR-P53-P21 signaling pathways.
