At present, lung cancer has entered a new era of immunotherapy. However, a single immunotherapy is unable to satisfy the requirements of the immune microenvironment. More and more different combined immunotherapy schemes have become effective methods to overcome immune resistance. As a promising target in the novel immunotherapy, cancer-testis antigen (CTA) is a highly specific tumor antigen to produce a powerful anti-tumor immune response that is almost only expressed in malignant tumors. This article reviews the research progress of CTA's expression, function and immunotherapy application in lung cancer.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of quinolone resistance in Psendomonas aeruginosa. Methods The minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs)of ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin with and without carbonylcyainde-m-chlorophenylhydrazone(CCCP)were determined by agar dilution method.Polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and DNA sequencing were used to study the mutations in quinolone resistance-determining region of gyrA and parC genes. The strains were genotyped by enterbacterial repetitive intergenie consensus-PCR(ERIC-PCR).Results Sixteen quinolones-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains were obtained. The MICs of ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin were not reduced significantly by adding CCCP.Thr-83→Ile of gyrA and Ser-87→Leu of parC were found simultaneously in 16 strains of resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Analysis of ERIC-PCR products indicated that 16 quinolone-resistant strains had an identical band pattern which was different from that seen in the sensitive strains. Conclusion Mutations in gyrA and parC may be the main mechanism of quinolone resistance in clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

OBJECTIVE To study the clinical features of acute leukemia(AL) patients with complication of infection. METHODS A retrospective analysis of prevalence of infection occurring in 123 AL patients, their bacterial spectrum, and the effect of G-CSF on the infection were done. RESULTS The prevalence of infection in AL patients was 94.3%,among which 49.2% were infected with Gram-positive organisms,42.4% with Gram-negative bacilli and 8.4% with fungi.Blood culture occurred mostly with Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas infection.Patient′s neutropenia was significantly related to the infection. The patients with neutrophil count less than 0.2?10~9/L had more frequently suffered severe infection with long-lasting time, and had more than two sites of infection.Age,hemoglobin level, prophylactic intestinal usage of antibiotics could not reduce patient′s infection. The total mortality of AL patients with infection was 6%.Pulmonary infection and septicemia increased mortality, but G-CSF therapy reduced it. CONCLUSIONS AL patients are at high risk of infection which is significantly associated with severe neutropenia.G-CSF therapy exerts an assistant role to antibiotics in controlling the infection.
