Objective To estimate the curative effect and cost-effectiveness of moxifloxacin and gatifloxacin for treatment of urinary traet infection. Methods Eighty patients with urinary tract infection were randomly divided into treatment group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases). The patients in treatment group were given 400 mg moxifloxacin once a day for 7 d, while in control group were given 400 mg gatifloxacin once a day for 7d. Results The total clinical effective rate of treatment group and control group were 95.0%(38/40) and 92.5%(37/40) respectively, and the bacterial eliminating rate were 77.50% (31/40) and 76.92% (30/39), and the rate of adverse reaction were 5.0% ( 2/40 ) and 7.5% (3/40) respectively. There was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05). The cost-effectiveness ratio of moxifloxacin was 2296 and 779 for gatifloxacin (P<0.01). Conclusion The therapeutic scheme of gatifloxacin seems to be the best one for treating urinary tract infection.

Objective To study the clinical effect of adenosine triphosphate and spermatic vein ligation combined treatment of children with primary varicocele disease.Methods80 cases of children with primary varicocele disease who were treated in pediatric surgery department of Hangzhou City Yuhang District MCH from May 2014 to May 2016 were selected, these children were divided into adenosine triphosphate and spermatic vein ligation combined treatment group (combined treatment group, n= 40) and spermatic vein ligation treatment group (monotherapy group, n=40) two groups according to the random number table, the postoperative pain score, gastrointestinal recovery time, hospital stay, cost of hospitalization, incidence of complications and recurrence of the two groups were statistically analyzed.ResultsThe postoperative pain score and hospitalization cost of the combined treatment group were significantly lower (P<0.05), the gastrointestinal function recovery time and hospital stay were significantly shorter (P<0.05), the incidence of complications 2.5% (1/40) was significantly lower than the monotherapy group 17.5% (7/40) (P<0.05), the recurrence rate 2.5% (1/40) was significantly lower than the monotherapy group 10.0% (4/40) (P< 0.05).ConclusionThe clinical effect of adenosine triphosphate and spermatic vein ligation combined treatment of children with primary varicocele disease is better than spermatic vein ligation treatment alone, so is worthy of promotion in the clinical.

Objective:To confi rm acidic extracts of Chinese materia medica having an inhibition to melanin synthesis. Methods: By L-DOPA oxidation method, the in vitro determination was studied to get tyrosinase activity’s inhibition of acidic extracts from 28 kinds of Chinese materia medica with high, middle and low concentration solution. Results: First, Acidic extracts from 28 kinds of Chinese materia medica at high concentration (25g/L) showed potent inhibitory action on tyrosinase activity. The highest inhibition rate was 96.50%, which was from the acidic extract of Fructus Mume. The next was fructus schizandrae with 85.33% inhibition rate. Compared with a 56.67% inhibition rate of 2 mmol/ml control sample arbutin, both Fructus Mume and fructus schizandrae had a large signifi cant deviation ( P

From 1983 to 2000, 2 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis associated with renal calculi were treated in our department. The literature was reviewed to discuss the diagnosis and the treatment. Both of the 2 patients presented with typical renal colic, gross hematuria and renal abscess. In one patient, renal pelvic tumor was diagnosed by CT before operation and radical nephrectomy was carried out after squamous cell carcinoma was detected with frozen section during operation. No recurrence was developed during a follow-up of 18 months. Another patient received systemic chemotherapy and died from cancer collapse after 4 months. Squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis is uncommon and associated with renal calculi. Typically, these are poorly differentiated tumors with poor prognosis. Early diagnosis is difficult and radical nephrectomy is the first-choice treatment.

Zishi township of Jiangling city is located in the canal area inside embankment,a heavy endemic area of schistosomiasis japonica in Hubei province. The population and cattle preva-lence was 29.5% and 66.7% respectively in 1992. There are 66 canals and it covered a total area of 300000m2. 97.0% of the canals and 99.3% of the total area had snail inhabitants, and 7.6% of the snails distributed in canal was infected which covered 18.3% of the total area. The snails were mainly distributed in the main canal and their branches. The rate of snail distribution was 45.2% and 39.8% respectively. Cattle was pastured all year round in this area. Examination of scattered cattle feces and water revealed that the major factor of water contamination was scattered cattle feces. It explained why the infection rate of snail was high and the distribution of infected snail was extensive and how the major high rise area inside embankment was formed.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of tracking movement of normal patellar using volume scan on sensation 320 CT. Method Data of dynamic scans of 30 knees was collected using the motor function of 320 CT and retrospectively analyzed. The data of movement of the patellorfemoral joint was obtained during flexion (from 0° to 120°) within 10-sec by 320 CT from all volunteers. The 3D coordinate of the center of patella was recorded to investigate the dispose relation of patellofemoral joint.Result With the knee angle changed from 0° to 90°, the patella moved rapidly along the Y-axis direction ( sagittal plane) down about (53.87 ± 0. 45 ) mm, and then entered the plateau phase with little change.When the knee flexion reached 10°-30° ,the patellar movement along the X-axis reached the largest range of (2. 31 ±0. 52)-(3.36 ± 0. 43 ) mm, and subsequently moved to the opposite lateral direction with the maximum about (8. 53 ± 0. 44 ) mm at 120°. In the Z axis, the track initially showed plateau, and then presented a rapidly downward trend after 30°. The patellar tracking is like an outward arc during the whole knee flexion. Conclusion The motor functional imaging of 320 CT can pinpoint the patelar tracking in a fast, painless way.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety and to analyze related complications and potential prognostic factors of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT ) on hematological malignancies .Methods Patients with hemato-logical malignancies who underwent allo-HSCT from June 2010 to June 2015 were investigated in this retrospective study .Accord-ing to the donor types ,it was divided into compatriots sibling-matched transplantation group (n = 52) and haploid transplantation group (n= 98) .The preconditioning regimens were busulfan/cyclophosphamide ,and anti-thymocyte globulin were needed in haploid transplantation group .Short-term methotrexate + cyclosporine A + mycophenolate mofetil were used for prevention of graft-ver-sus-host disease .The efficacy and safety and related complications of allo-HSCT were analyzed .Results All patients achieved full donor type engraftment ,which was identified by blood type ,chromosome test and DNA polymorphism .The mean times of neutro-phil and platelet engraftment were 12 d and 16 d in compatriots sibling-matched transplantation group and 13 d and 16 d in haploid transplantation group ,respectively .59 cases (39 .3% ) patients were oral mucosa ulcer ,47 patients (31 .3% ) were bacteria and/or fungal infection ,41 cases (27 .3% ) patients were CMV infection ,48 cases (32 .0% ) were acute GVHD ,43 patients (28 .7% ) were chronic GVHD .The median follow-up time of 23 months (1 - 60 months) ,115 patients (76 .7% ,115/150) were disease-free sur-vival ,including 38 cases (73 .1% ,38/52) in compatriots sibling-matched transplantation group ,77 cases (78 .6% ,77/98) in haploid transplantation group ;35 cases (23 .3% ,35/150) patients were died ,including 14 cases (26 .9% ,14/52) in compatriots sibling-matched transplantation group ,21 cases (21 .4% ,21/98) in haploid transplantation group .Death cause analysis showed that 12 ca-ses (8 .0% ) complications from transplantation related death ,of which 5 cases (3 .3% ) were severe infection ,7 cases (4 .7% ) caused by acute GVHD ,23 cases (8 .7% ) patients died because of the primary disease recurrence .The survival rate and mortality was similar between the two groups (P> 0 .05) .Conclusion Allo-HSCT is safe and effective treatment in hematological malignan-cies .The curative effect and security with haploid transplantation were similar to compatriots sibling-matched transplantation .It is necessary to prevent prognostic impact factors such as acute GVHD and infection early .

Objective To investigate the major effective Chinese materia medica inQuban Prescription for intervention in melanin synthesis.Methods 3×2 factorial design was used. The factors of investigation were Crataegi Fructus, Angelicae Sinensis Radix and Corni Fructus. Tyrosinase activity, melanin generation and auto-oxidation of dopa were determinated respectively; and the major effective Chinese materia medica ofQuban Prescription for intervention in melanin synthesis was analyzed by SPSS16.0 software.Results Tyrosinase activity was remarkably inhibited by Corni Fructus (P<0.05). Melanin generation was remarkably inhibited by Corni Fructus and Angelicae Sinensis Radix (P<0.01). Auto-oxidation of dopa was remarkably inhibited by Corni Fructus and Angelicae Sinensis Radix (P<0.05). Corni Fructus was in an absolute leading position.ConclusionCorni Fructus is the major effective Chinese materia medica in inhibiting tyrosinase activity, melanin generation and auto-oxidation of dopa in the prescription.

Objective To investigate the influences of gender,age,and body mass index (BMI)on the arterial stiffness in hypertensive patients.Methods A total of 1026 hypertensive patients were enrolled in this study from 6 community health centers in Baoshan District and Shanghai Third People's Hospital.The Related medical histories and carotid-femoral(C-F) pulse wave velocity (PWV) were recorded and PWV were re-tested in 672 patients after 1 year's follow-up.The C-F PWV was analyzed from different group of Gender,age and BMI at baseline and after follow up.Results (1)C-F PWV of the male hypertensive patients were higher than that of female's and the corresponding figures were (13.63 ±3.07)m/s and (12.59±2.85)m/s(P ＜0.01).After one year's follow up,C-F PWV was increased in both male and female with corresponding figures of (14.11 ± 3.58) m/s and (13.51 ± 3.56) m/s (P ＜ 0.05).(2) The C-F PWV was increased with age.The corresponding figures were [(11.11 ± 2.00) m/s for age group 30 ～ 50 years old,(12.73 ± 2.77) m/s for age group ＞ 50 ～ 70 years old,and (14.74 ± 3.29) m/s for age group ＞ 70 years old,all P ＜0.01].After one year's follow-up,C-F PWV of three age groups was increased and the corresponding figures were [(11.36±1.78)m/s(P ＞0.05),(13.39±3.33)m/s(P ＜0.01),and (15.68 ±3.94)m/s(P ＜0.05)].The increased range of C-F PWV (from high to low) was age group ＞ 70,age group ＞ 50 ～70 and age group 30 ～50.(3) C-F PWV of patients with BMI ≥ 24 kg/m2 was significantly lower than that of patients with BMI ＜24 kg/m2 and the corresponding figures were [(12.93 ±2.89)m/s and (13.39 ±3.18)m/s,P ＜0.05].After one year's follow up,C-F PWV was increased and the figures were [(13.54 ± 3.54) rn/s and (14.27±3.61) m/s,respectively(P ＜0.01)].Conclusions Except BMI,gender and age were the important influence factors on arterial stiffness.

Objective To investigate the effect of anti-epileptic soup on the levds of interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in pentylenetetrazol-induced rats and its mechanism.Methods Healthy adult male SD rats were injected intraperitoneally with pentylenetetrazol kindling 35.0mg/kg to induce a rat epilepsy model.After successful construction of the epilepsy model,the rats were divided into four the groups:blank group,model group,anti -epileptic soup group and sodium valproate (VPA) group.All of the treatments were performed three times a day continuously for 28 days.The rats in the anti-epileptic soup group were given 6ml of anti-epileptic soup.The rats in the VPA group were given 400mg/kg of sodium valproate by garage.The rats in blank group and model group received 6ml of normal saline.After treatment,the seizures level was recorded by using the Diehl six point grading scale,and the expression of serum IL-2 and IL-6 were detected by the enzyme linked immunoassay (ELISA).Results The seizure level of the model group was (4.23 ± 0.43),while that of the anti-epileptic group was (3.47 ± 0.39),indicated that the anti-epileptic soup can reduce the seizures level.The expressions of IL-2 (4.18 ± 0.41)pg/mL and IL-6 (350.0 ± 82.5) pg/mL of the model group were higher than those of the blank group [IL-2 (3.20 ± 0.36) pg/mL,IL-6 (260.2 ± 69.0) pg/mL,P ＜ 0.01],while the expressions of IL-2 (3.48 ± 0.44) pg/mL and IL-6 (287.5 ±74.6) pg/mL of the anti-epileptic group were lower compared with the control group (P ＜0.01).No significant difference was found between the anti-epileptic group and VPA group IL-2 (3.35 ± 0.56) pg/mL and IL-6 (253.8 ± 59.8) pg/mL(P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The anti-epileptic soup is effective for treating epilepsy in rats,the possible mechanism may be related with downregulating the expression of IL-2 and IL-6.
