Objective To explore the change and clinical significance of serum triglycerides and total cholesterol of patients with Vascular dementia (VD) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Methods 54 cases of VD and 78 cases of AD were examined. 50 cases of healthy adult were enrolled as the control group. Results The serum triglyceride [(1.98?0.98) mmol/L, (12.13?1.0) mmol/L] in VD patients and total cholesterol [(6.52?1.42 mmol/L, (6.36?1.15) mmol/L] in AD patients were significantly higher than those of the control group [(1.32?0.88) mmol/L,(5.45?0.93) mmol/L](P0.05). Conclusion The serum triglyceride and total cholesterol of patients with VD and AD were much higher than those of normal healthy persons. It is conducive to lower the triglyceride and total cholesterol for the prevention and treatment of these two diseases.

Reflex tests are ordered when a particular test result indicates that additional testing should be performed according to the guidelines or the feedback process formulated by clinical consultation. The application scope of the reflex tests involves various subspecialties of laboratory medicine. The clinical application needs the support of qualified laboratory doctors, comprehensive information and financial system, clinical guidelines, and so on. Active application of reflex tests can promote the standardization of evidence-based medicine in clinical practice, save medical resources, and shorten the diagnosis and treatment time of patients.

This study aims to save cost of sampling for estimating the area under the amlodipine plasma concentration versus time curve in 24 hours (AUC(0-24 h)). Limited sampling strategy (LSS) models was developed and validated by mutiple regression model within 4 or fewer amlodipine concentration values. Absolute prediction error (APE), root of mean square error (RMSE) and visual predict check were used as criterion. The results of Jackknife validation showed that fifteen (9.4%) of the 160 LSS based on regression analysis were not within an APE of 15% by using one concentration-time point. 156 (97.5%), 159 (99.4%) and 160 (100%) of the 160 LSS model were capable of predicting within an APE 15% by using 2, 3, 4 points, separately. Limited sampling strategies have been developed and validated for estimating AUC(0-24 h) of amlodipine. The present study indicated that the implemention of both 5 mg and 10 mg dosage could enable accurate predictions of AUC(0-24 h) by the same LSS model. This study shows that 12, 4, 24, 2 h after administration are key sampling time points. The combination of (12, 4), (12, 4, 24) or (12, 4, 24, 2 h) might be chosen as sampling hours for predicting AUC(0-24 h) in practical application according to requirement.

To investigate the function of CTCF and understand the pathogenesis of tumors better, we produced rabbit polyclonal antibody of human transcription factor CTCF protein and detected its expression in several kinds of human cancer cells and tissues. GST fusion protein of human CTCF-N domain was purified by GSTrap-FF affinity chromatography and was successfully expressed under induction of IPTG in E. coli BL21. Western blotting analysis demonstrated that the polyclonal antibody can recognize the endogenous CTCF from HepG2, MCF-7 and HeLa cells specifically. The produced antibodies can be used for gene expression regulation and tissue distribution study at protein level.

The size of the non-sampling error is directly related to the accuracy and reliability of the sampling survey result. This paper studied the non-sampling errors generated during the sampling process of the China National Human Biomonitoring Program(CNBP), mainly including the sampling frame error, non-response error and measurement error. The program reduced the influence of the non-sampling error on the quality of the survey effectively by scientifically designing the sampling scheme and questionnaire, strengthening investigator trainings and standardizing the data review, which could be used to provide reference for the control of non-sampling errors in public health monitoring projects in China.

Objective To explore the application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill training in pre-job training for clinical interns and its value of quality control. Methods A total of 136 clinical interns in Chongqing Qianjiang Central Hospital who came from Chongqing Medical University, Jishou University, and Hubei University for nationalities were included in this study from June 2015 to June 2017. The test score, pass rates and make-up pass rates after 3 months of pre-job training of cardiopul-monary resuscitation were compared between training and evaluation group (2016 session) and control group (2015 session). We analyzed the correlation of retraining and evaluation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and test score of pre-job training and its value of predicting the effectiveness of pre-job training. Results There were 65 clinical interns in 2016 session and 71 clinical interns in 2015 session. After 3 months training, the test score, pass rates and make-up pass rates in retraining and evaluation group were significantly higher than that in the control group, respectively (t=15.594,P=0.000; χ2=22.859, P=0.000; χ2=6.179, P=0.018). Conclusions Car-diopulmonary resuscitation skill training could enhance the effectiveness of pre-job training for clini-cal interns in non-affiliated teaching hospital and increase interns' ability to carry out cardiopulmonary resusci-tation and improve the quality of pre-job training for clinical interns. It could be used as an effective quality control strategy of clinical teaching

Objective:To analyze the characteristics of smoking network among smokers in Kunming smoking cessation outpatient service. Methods:A multicenter, cross-sectional study was carried out, and smoking cessation outpatients from 8 tertiary hospitals (the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, Yan′an Hospital, Ganmei Hospital, the 920 Hospital of the Chinese People′s Liberation Army Joint Logistic Support Force, Kunming First People′s Hospital, the First People′s Hospital of Yunnan Province and the Second People′s Hospital of Yunnan Province) in Kunming, Yunnan Province were included to receive a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire mainly consisted of four parts: (1) demographic characteristics of smokers; (2) the specific situation of smoking; (3) social support network; (4) smoking network. A total of 360 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, 351 were recovered, and 351 were valid, the collected data from valid questionnaire were statistically analyzed to analyze the social demographic characteristics, smoking status and smoking network characteristics of smokers. Results:In this survey, the demographic characteristics of the 351 patients in the smoking cessation clinic were as follows: there were 342 male cases (97.4%), 249 cases (70.9%) were Han, 233 patients (66.4%) were non-religious, there were 236 cases (67.2%) with college degree or above, and 51 cases (14.5%) were unemployed. The analysis of smoking status showed that 167 patients (47.6%) maintained daily smoking, 247 patients (70.4%) had plans to quit smoking, at least one parent of 258 patients (73.5%) had a history of smoking, 188 patients (53.6 %) smoked at home. In the smoking network of the surveyed patients, there were 304 patients (86.6%) who smoked together with two or more people, and more than 90 percent of the patients smoked with the same sex. Conclusions:The smoking network of patients in Kunming smoking cessation clinic is small, and a third of smokers are friends. It is suggested to use the characteristics of smoking network to carry out smoking cessation intervention activities, so as to improve the success rate of smoking cessation.
