Objective To study the correlation between chronic gastritis with benign mucosal nodular-change,Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection and lymphoid follicles infiltration.Methods During July 1,2004 to June 30,2005 patients with chronic gastritis and benign mucosal nodular-change were identified by chromo-endoscopy with anabrosis indigo carmine staining at the antrum.Multiple biopsies were obtained for H.pylori detection with quick test and for pathology examination of mucosal lymphoid follicles formation and lymphocyte infiltration,as well as H.pylori infection.Results The patients were divided into nodular gastritis group,atrophy gastritis group and verrucous gastritis group with mean age of(31.00?11.62),(58.61?12.14)and(51.29?12.99)years old,respectively.The patients with nodular gastritis were the youngest(P

Objective To explore the value of real‐time three‐dimensional speckle tracking imaging (RT‐3D‐STI) in the early detection of globle and regional left ventricular myocardial systolic function in patients of coronary stenosis without regional wall motion abnormality. Methods 64 coronary stenosis patients without regional wall motion abnormality were divided into 2 groups according to angiography (CAG):without coronary stenosis group( n = 20) and coronary stenosis group ( n = 44), and all the myocardial segments of the patients were divided into 5 groups:without coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments ( n = 340 ), coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments ( n = 235 ), mild coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n = 126), moderate coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n =213) and severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n =174). Real‐time three‐dimensional full volume of left ventricle was obtained, left ventricular global area strain (GAS)and regional area strain(AS) of 17 myocardial segments, etc, were measured by RT‐3D‐STI respectively. The parameters between the two groups and among the five sub groups were compared, the correlation between GAS and coronary artery Gensini score was also analyzed. Results GAS in coronary stenosis group significantly reduced compared with without coronary stenosis group( P <0 0.5) S.egmental AS gradually reduced with the increasing of the degree of the coronary stenosis. There was no statistically difference of segmental AS among without coronary artery group normal myocardial segments, coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments and mild coronary stenosis myocardial segments( P >0 0.5) S.egmental AS in moderate and severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments significantly reduced ( P < 0.05 ), and that in severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments was lower than that in moderate coronary stenosis myocardial segments, the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). In addition, GAS was significantly correlated with coronary artery Gensini score( r =0.828, P <0.01). Conclusions RT‐3D‐STI can quantitatively assess the early changes of left ventricular globle and regional myocardial systolic function in patients with coronary stenosis.

Objective To analyze inpatient expenses of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and factors in the department of cardiology of a hospital, in order to provide references for setting the upper expenses limit and keeping expenses within a reasonable control Methods The hospitalization expenses data were collected from inpatients having intracoronary stenting operations in a class 3 grade A hospital in Shanghai from 2004-2006. The study made multi-factor analysis on factors possibly affecting the expenses, and built a model to predict the expense per disease, and estimated the upper limit for medical insurance expense control. These figures were used in an expense appraisal for inpatients from January to June in 2007. Results For the expenses of the 1296 PCI inpatients investigated, the largest share, 84.11%, comes from operation materials. Factors affecting the expenses, as listed by their influence, were in turn the number of stents used, length of stay, age, the status at admission, and rescues made. The study found that the average hospitalization expenses of inpatients from January to June in 2007 fell below the middle control line, and 85% of them lower than the upper control line. Conclusions To lower the medical expenses for the disease, hospitals need to take measures by using less stents, less days of stay, and less medication. Control lines specified per disease can help manage and control medical treatment quality.

Objective To investigate the influential factors for the colonoscopic polyp detection rate (PDR) and adenomade detection rate(ADR) in high-risk population in community colorectal cancer screening.Methods Data of patients who were determined as high-risk population in community colorectal cancer screening tests and received colonoscopy in the Digestive Endoscopic Center of Tongji Hospital from May 2014 to November 2014 were collected.PDR and ADR were calculated by different genders, ages, history of abdominal operation, anesthesia assistance, quality of bowel preparation and experience of operators.Thex2 test and logistic regression analysis were used to compare the PDR and ADR between different groups.Results A total of 417 patients received complete colonoscopies.The total PDR was 35.25％.Univariate analysis revealed that gender (OR =2.298,95％ CI: 1.525-3.463), history of abdominal operation (OR =0.596,95％CI:0.390-0.910), anesthesia assistance (OR =1.864,95％ CI: 1.086-3.200) and quality of bowel preparation were significantly associated with PDR while multivariate analysis revealed that only gender, history of abdominal operation and quality of bowel preparation were independent influential factors for PDR.The total ADR was 30.22％.Like PDR, univariate analysis revealed that gender(OR =2.113,95％CI: 1.382-3.229), history of abdominal operation(OR =0.604,95％ CI:0.387-0.941), anesthesia assistance(OR =2.344,95％ CI: 1.283-4.281) and quality of bowel preparation were significantly associated with ADR.However, multivariate analysis revealed that only gender, history of abdominal operation and quality of bowel preparation were independent influential factors for ADR.Conclusion For patients who were highrisk in community colorectal cancer screening, men have greater risk to develop polyps and adenomas than women.Colonoscopy should be more careful in patients with history of abdominal operation, for quality of bowel preparation is directly related to PDR and ADR.

Objectives To investigate the causes of short stature in Turner syndrome (TS). Methods 86 patients were di-agnosed with TS by karyotypes from 2004 to 2013. According to the deletion types of the X chromosome short arm, growth hor-mone (GH), insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and thyroid function, the TS patients were divided into different groups and com-parison was made among groups. Results Ht SDS in three groups with different extent of the deletion of the X chromosome short arm were (-4.39±1.08), (-3.26±1.25) and (-2.84±0.15) (P<0.05). The proportion of growth hormone deifciency (GHD) in the three groups were 62.5%, 38.9%and 0%(P<0.05). Ht SDS in groups with different degree of IGF-1 level were (-4.37±1.10), (-3.82±1.07) and (-3.25±0.91) (P<0.05). There was no signiifcant difference of Ht SDS between hypothyroidism patients with and without GHD (P>0.05). Conclusions The deletion of X chromosome short arm may cause the short stature in TS. The GH-IGF-1 axis in TS is impaired, but GHD is not related to short stature in TS.
