Objective To explore the value of real‐time three‐dimensional speckle tracking imaging (RT‐3D‐STI) in the early detection of globle and regional left ventricular myocardial systolic function in patients of coronary stenosis without regional wall motion abnormality. Methods 64 coronary stenosis patients without regional wall motion abnormality were divided into 2 groups according to angiography (CAG):without coronary stenosis group( n = 20) and coronary stenosis group ( n = 44), and all the myocardial segments of the patients were divided into 5 groups:without coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments ( n = 340 ), coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments ( n = 235 ), mild coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n = 126), moderate coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n =213) and severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n =174). Real‐time three‐dimensional full volume of left ventricle was obtained, left ventricular global area strain (GAS)and regional area strain(AS) of 17 myocardial segments, etc, were measured by RT‐3D‐STI respectively. The parameters between the two groups and among the five sub groups were compared, the correlation between GAS and coronary artery Gensini score was also analyzed. Results GAS in coronary stenosis group significantly reduced compared with without coronary stenosis group( P <0 0.5) S.egmental AS gradually reduced with the increasing of the degree of the coronary stenosis. There was no statistically difference of segmental AS among without coronary artery group normal myocardial segments, coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments and mild coronary stenosis myocardial segments( P >0 0.5) S.egmental AS in moderate and severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments significantly reduced ( P < 0.05 ), and that in severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments was lower than that in moderate coronary stenosis myocardial segments, the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). In addition, GAS was significantly correlated with coronary artery Gensini score( r =0.828, P <0.01). Conclusions RT‐3D‐STI can quantitatively assess the early changes of left ventricular globle and regional myocardial systolic function in patients with coronary stenosis.

Heparinases,a kind of polysaccharide lyases,can degrade heparin and heparin sulfate to low molecular weight polysaccharides.It has been noted that many bacteria have heparinases although only few of them have been purified and characterized.Heparinases I,II and III from Flavobacterium heparinum have been extensively studied for many years and been commercialized recently.Heparinases have some important applications in the industry and clinic as well as in the determination of heparin structure,which is a very important anticoagulant drug used world-widely.The recent progresses in isolation of heparinase-producing bacteria,genome mapping of heparinase homologs in sequenced bacteria and archaea genomes,purification of heparinases and the study of their biochemistry and regulation were reviewed.The recombinant expression of these enzymes as well as important applications of heparinases and their potential applications in the future will also be highlighted.

To increase the biotransfomation efficiency from the orotic acid to the uridine 5'-monophosphate(UMP),URA5 gene encoding orotate phosphoribosytransferase was amplified from Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY4742 by PCR,then it was inserted into the expression vector pYX212(contained orotidine monophosphate decarboxylase gene URA3)and the pYX212-URA5 was transformed into Saccharomyces cerevisiae BJX12 by electroporation.The recombinant strain was elementarily used to convert orotic acid to UMP.The results showed that pYX212-URA5/BJX12 could accumulate 7mmol/L UMP from 32mmol/L orotic acid in 26h,significantly higher than both control groups pYX212/BJX12(2.7mmol/L) and BJX12(2.4 mmol/L).

Objective: To study the effect of Bazhen decoction on red blood cell immunity in rats with Qi deficiency.Methods:After the rats were forced to swim for two weeks continuously, the rat model of Qi deficiency was established. Bazhen group and normal group were fed with Bazhen decoction (20g?kg -1 ,daily), and distilled water for fourteen days, respectively. The changes in red blood cell c 3b receptor rosette rate (RBC.c 3bRR) and red blood cell immune complexes rosette rate (RBC.ICRR) were studied while the influences of Bazhen decoction on above mentioned parameters were observed. Objective To investigate the number and activity changes of endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) in hemodialysis patients,and explore its correlation with the risk factors of coronary heart disease.Methords Total mononuclear ceils(MNCs) were isolated from peripheral blood of patients with chronic renal failure in long-term hemodialysis and from a normal control group by Ficoll density gradient centrifugation and then were plated on humanfibronectin-coated dishes.Mter 7 days of culture,EPCs were characterized as adherent cells by double staining with FITC-UEA-I and DI-LDL,and were further identified by the expression of CD34,CD133 and KDR with flow cytometry.EPCs migration was determined with modified Boyden chamber assay.EPCs adhesive assay was performed by replanting EPCs on humanfibronectin-coated plates and then counting the adherent cells.The relationship of the EPCs' number and activity with Framingham Risk Score of ten years was also be assessed.Results Number of EPCs and the migratory & adhesive capacity were significantly lower in patients than in the control(P
