Purpose:To study the effectiveness of inserting central venous catheter was inserted into pericardial cavity for the drainage and treatment of lung cancer hydropericardium. Methods:A central venous catheter into pericardial cavity by pericardial puncture and continuous drainage, then chemotherapeutic agents were administered. Results:Among twelve patients, complete response was seen in 4 cases and partial response in 7, no cardiostenosis and sinus appeared. Conclusions:This method is convenient, effective, safe for the treatment of lung cancer hydropericardium and without apparent complications.

OBJECTIVE To understand the situation of pathogenic organism of surgical cut infection and germiculture result from incisal margin swab,analyze the characteristic of pathogenic organism,and provide the measures to control.METHODS To investigate the patients from Jun 2004 to Sep 2005,and analyze the data of pathogenic organism of surgical cut infection and germiculture result from incisal margin swab.RESULTS From 10278 surgical cases 124 cases(1.29%) were with surgical cut infection,From 94 samples of incisal margin swabs 58(61.70%) were positive with 59 bacterial strains,including 32(54.24%) Escherichia coli isolates,10(16.95%) of coagulase negative Staphylococcus(CNS),3(5.08%) Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates and 3(5.08%) Streptococcus intermedius isolates.From 118 samples of surgical cut infection cases 102(86.44%) were positive with 120 strains,including 49(40.38%) E.coli isolates,25(20.83%) of CNS,and 7(5.83%) K.pneumoniae isolates.CONCLUSIONS The main bacteria of type Ⅰ surgical cut infection are Staphylococcus and that of types Ⅱ and Ⅲ surgical cut infection are E.coli.The rusults from incisal margin swabs have the important value to the treatment of surgical cut infection to guide the antibiotic use reasonably.

Objective To study the effect of intracoronary stenting for bifurcational lesions on the related side branches. Methods One hundren and twenty patients with 132 coronary bifurcational lesions were enrolled in the study. Intracornary stents were deployed in the lesions. The incidence of side branch oppression was analysed. Results Twenty-four side branches were oppressed during PCI (14.28%), especially in type Ⅰ and type Ⅳ bifurcation lesions. Conclusion The details of PCI and morphotogical characteristics of bifurcation lesions were the important factors leading the side branch oppression during PCI in bifurcation lesions.

Background Laser peripheral iridotomy(LPI) is used as the primary therapy for the eyes at risk of angle closure.But there are still 28% eyes with primary angle closure suspect occur angle closure within 2 years after LPI.It is necessary to explore the associated factors of the efficacy of LPI.Objective The aim of this study was to explore the changes of intraocular pressure(IOP) and anterior chamber angle in the fellow eyes of patients with unilateral acute attack of primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) and analyze the relevant factors influencing the successful rate of LPI.Methods Eighty-seven fellow eyes received LPI from 87 patients with unilateral acute attack of PACG were included in this study and retrospectively analyzed.The IOP and gonioscopy were performed before and 1 week,3,6,9,12 months after LPI.Successful signs of LPI were defined as an IOP 6-21mmHg without any anti-glaucoma medication,none of glaucomatous neuropathy and the coincident visual field loss,and no need of additional glaucomatous medication or surgery.This study was approved by Ethic Committee of the First Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College,and written informed consent was obtained from each patient.Results Seventy-nine eyes of 79 cases finished the medical visit throughout the follow-up duration with the age 61.4±0.4 years and 33(41.8%) males and 46(58.2%) females.The mean IOP was lowed in various time points after LPI in comparison with before operation with the general difference among different time visiting groups(F=4.056,P＜0.01).Shaffer grade was increased in superior,temporal and nasal quadrants and significant differences were found between 1 week group,3 months group or 6 months group and before operation group (P＜0.05).LPI lessened the range of appositional angle closure (AAC) in postoperative 1 week group and 3 months group compared with pre-operative group (P＜0.05),but no statistically significant reduce was seen in range of AAC from 6 months through 12 months after LPI in comparison with pre-operation (P＞0.05).LPI was determined as successful in 61 cases (77.2%) during one-year fellow-up period.Several variables,such as preoperative IOP,Shaffer grade of each quadrant,mean Shaffer grade and the extent of AAC,were significantly different between LPI success and failure group(P＜0.01).Cox stepwise regression analysis found that the success rate was significantly associated with the extent of AAC (Wald=48.150,RR=1.963,P＜0.01) rather than pre-IOP,Shaffer grade of each quadrant,mean Shaffer grade,age and gender (P＞0.05).Conclusion LPI can widen the anterior chamber angle and low IOP in the fellow eyes of PACG attack eyes.The success rate of LPI is associated with the extent of pre-AAC,suggesting that it is necessary for LPI in consideration of the extent of pre-AAC.

Objective To investigate the effect of nesfatin-1 (NSF-1) on T-type Ca2+ channel currents in adult mouse dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons and possible signal transduction mechanisms involved.Methods We measured the expression of melanocortin 4 receptors(MC4-R)in mouse DRG by using western blotting analysis.The whole-cell patch clamp technique was used to record the effects of NSF 1 on T-type Ca2+ channel currents in small DRG neurons and several ligands were experimented to further clarify relevant signaling pathways.Results MC4-Rs were abundantly expressed in DRG neurons.NSF-1 enhanced T-type calcium channel currents in a dose-dependent manner in small DRG neurons in mice.NSF-1 mediated increment of T-type calcium channel currents was blocked by the MC4-R antagonist HS024,phosphokinase C antagonists GF109203X,and chelerythrine chloride,while the blockade of phospohokinase A PKI 6-22 elicited no such effects.Conclusions NSF-1 can enhance T type calcium channel currents in small DRG neurons through an MC4-R-dependent PKC signaling pathway.

Objective To study the relationship between long-term high-salt water and the morbidity mechanism of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG), The expression of HSP60 and ras protein were detected in the gastric mucosa of CAG rates induced by high-salt water.Methods The atrophic gastritis rat model was made by high-salt-hot water perfusion and the ultrastructure of gastric mucosa was observed by Laser Scanning ConfocaI Microscopy. Results There was no expression in gastric mucosa in normal group. The expression of HSP60 and ras was observed in the cell plasm of rats at 12 weeks. The higher expression was observed in the rats at 24, 32 and 65 weeks. Using laser scanning confocaI microscopy and immunofluorescence technique had observed coexistence of HSP60 and ras.Conclusion Long time high-salt-hot water can induce CAG and increasing the expression of HSP60 and ras. HSP60 and ras play an important role in the formation of atrophic gastritis.

OBJECTIVE To set up a multiple functional information system for prevention, health care and hospital infection management in order to substitute the primitive older methods.METHODS On the platform of hospital information system, to construct above mentioned system, adopting C/S framework, the backstage supporter adopted the large-scale database of SQL SERVER 2000 enterprises edition, the front application program used Power Builder7 programming. The application software where collected all data about happened public health event, infectious disease epidemic situation and hospital information management was integrated into the each work station of the information system of hospital management, in order to form the report related to any department of the hospital, and control network. RESULTS System could come down with the public health event to which every hospital department could find the infectious disease case, hospital infection case, etc. to check, put in order, report, count, analyze, have a look around, inquire about, feedback, and form the monitoring chart with excellent pictures and texts. CONCLUSIONS This software is a medical quality control system of a hospital, can to meet suddenly public health event, infectious disease epidemic situation and hospital infection control, and raise working efficiency in real time to control hospital infection.

Objective:To explore the personnel arrangement in the outpatient pharmacy by calculating working hour to provide ref-erence for the rational staffing in hospital. Methods:The daily work content and working hour of 18 pharmacists in the outpatient phar-macy of a large general hospital from January to March in 2013 were following-up observed and recorded using the working hour meas-urement. The data were input the EXcellsoftware to establish the database, and the workload in various positions was collected and sorted. The obtained relative parameters were used to calculate the needed worker number on the basis of manpower planning model. Results:The research confirmed the mean operation time for 9 work programs in the outpatient pharmacy, and the time for drug dispen-sing and distributing was detailed. The needed number of pharmacists was 13. 29 according to the calculation, plus the officer-in-charge and sanitation workers, the total number was 15. 29(approx. 16). Conclusion:The working hour measurement can scientifically de-termine the time for each job, and the workload should be used as the foundation for configuring personnel qualification and the number in outpatient pharmacy.

Objective To observe the effect of different concentrations of realgar on the apoptosis of gastric adenocarcinoma cell Line SGC-7901. Methods MTT assay was conducted to detect the growth inhibition ratio of SGC-7901 cells treated by different concentrations of realgar (0,10,20,50 and 80 μg·mL-1 ). AnnexinⅤ/ Propidium iodide double staining method together with flow cytometry were used to detect the effect of realgar at 0,20,50 and 80 μg·mL-1 on the apoptosis of SGC-7901 cells. Results The growth inhibition ratio of SGC-7901 cells by various concentrations of high-purity realgar (10,20,50 and 80 μg·mL-1 ) was 6. 15% ,7. 54% ,42. 31% and 63. 54% ,respectively,24 h after realgar treatment. At 48 h after the treatment,the growth inhibition ratio rose to 32. 56% ,46. 14% ,64. 51% and 87. 52% ,respectively (P<0. 05). Half inhibitory concentration was 45. 23 μg·mL-1 after 24 h and 15. 34 μg·mL-1 after 48 h. After treated by various concentrations of pure realgar (0,20,50 and 80 μg·mL-1 ) for 24 h,early cell apoptosis rate was (11. 10±2. 10)% ,(15. 31±1. 30)% ,(25. 81 ±2. 68)% and (43. 62 ±8. 51)% ,respectively,significantly different among the four groups (P<0. 05). The late cell apoptosis rate in each group was (1. 84±0. 25)% ,(4. 41±0. 09)% ,(4. 37±0. 14)% and (5. 00±0. 10)% ,respectively (P>0. 05). Conclusion High purity realgar can inhibit the proliferation and induce early apoptosis of gastric adenocarcinoma SGC-7901 cells.
