Results:(1) EPQ score in each dimension: There were significant differences within group among different time in introverted and extroverted dimension (study group: baseline: 46.14±10.99, the fifth weekend: 50.43±8.86, the eighth weekend: 53.86±7.08, F=6.291, P=0.003.Control group: baseline: 45.29±8.99, the fifth weekend: 48.29±8.31, the eighth weekend: 50.29±7.57, F=3.211, P=0.044) and neuroticism dimension score (study group: baseline: 60.14±5.49, the fifth weekend: 53.29±4.53, the eighth weekend: 50.57±4.33, F=36.809, P<0.001.Control group: baseline: 60.29±6.18, the fifth weekend: 55.86±6.00, the eighth weekend: 53.14±5.30, F=13.353, P<0.001) among different time points in the group.Neuroticism scores between the two groups at the same time were statistically significant(the fifth weekend: F=4.095, P=0.047, the eighth weekend: F=4.940, P=0.030). After 8 weeks of inclusion, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the score of introverted and extroverted dimension ( F=4.157, P=0.045). There was no significant difference in the score of spiritual quality dimension at different time within the group or at the same time point between the groups.(2)HAMD score: There were statistically significant differences within group among different time(study group: baseline: 32.00±4.04, the fifth weekend: 15.23±5.01, the eighth weekend: 9.31±3.15, F=282.376, P<0.001.Control group: baseline: 31.91±4.59, the fifth weekend: 17.86±5.11, the eighth weekend: 11.17±3.64, F=195.019, P<0.001), and the differences between the two groups at the same time were statistically significant (the fifth weekend: F=4.724, P=0.033, the eighth weekend: F=5.205, P=0.026). (3)HAMA score: There were statistically significant differences within group among different time(study group: baseline: 18.69±8.87, the fifth weekend: 10.34±5.34, the eighth weekend: 7.97±2.98, F=28.679, P<0.001.Control group: baseline: 18.60±8.02, the fifth weekend: 13.31±6.35, the eighth weekend: 10.37±4.86, F=14.241, P<0.001). The difference between the two groups at the same time point was statistically significant (the fifth weekend: F=4.161, P=0.045, the eighth weekend: F=8.315, P=005). (4)Multiple linear regression results indicated that RBCMT ( β=-0.312, t=-2.360, P=0.022) and introverted and extroverted dimension personality ( β=-0.334, t=-2.355, P=0.022) were the influencing factors of HAMA. Conclusion:Compared with the conventional treatment, the Relative Bedrest Condition Morita Therapy can reduce the anxiety symptoms and improve the depressive symptoms by enhancing the extraversion personality characteristics of the patients.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the vasorelaxing effect of vasonatrin peptide (VNP) on human intramammary artery (HIMA).The vasorelaxing effect of VNP on HIMA was measured by means of perfusion in vitro. The effects of HS-142-1, TEA, 8-Br-cGMP and methylene blue (MB) were also observed. It was found that VNP caused a concentration-dependent relaxation in HIMA which was independent of the endothelium. 8-Br-cGMP (0.1-1000 micromol/L) also caused a concentration-dependent relaxation in HIMA. The vasorelaxing effect of VNP disappeared in the presence of HS-142-1 (20 micromol/L), an antagonist of the natriuretic peptide guanylate cyclase (GC) receptor. MB (10 micromol/L), an inhibitor of GC, not only blocked completely the relaxation of HIMA, but also enhanced the vascular contraction induced by norepinephrine. TEA (1 mmol/L), an antagonist of calcium activated potassium channels (K(Ca)), reduced but not completely blocked the vasorelaxing effect of VNP. These findings suggest that VNP can relax HIMA, which is independent of the endothelium. This effect is possibly achieved by the binding of VNP with the natriuretic peptide GC receptors in the smooth muscle cells (SMCs), leading to an increase in intracellular cGMP level. Moreover, the vasorelaxing effect of VNP is associated with K(Ca).

OBJECTIVETo investigate the status of the quality of life for adolescents and children with chronic sinusitis and its influencing factors.
METHODSEighty-six patients were measured with the General Information Questionnaire and Chronic Sinusitis Quality of Life Scale. Six months after operation, the Chronic Sinusitis Quality of Life Scale was retested. T-test and stepwise regression were used to study the improvement and influencing factors of quality of life.
RESULTSThe preoperative and postoperative quality of life scores showed a significant difference ( all P < 0. 01 ). The main factors influencing the quality of life included symptom scores (P = 0. 003) , family economic status(P = 0. 003) , parents' attitude(P = 0. 009) , extents of pathological changes(P = 0. 019) , regional disparity ( P = 0. 010) and parents' educational level (P = 0. 048).
CONCLUSIONThe children's subjective symptoms should be viewed as an important aspect for surgery selection. The quality of life in adolescent and children was influenced significantly by family economic status, their parents' attitude and the difference of education.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the findings of contrast-enhanced multislice computed tomography (MSCT) that characterize intraductal papillary neoplasms of bile ducts (IPNB).
METHODSThe MSCT findings and clinical data of 16 cases of IPNB proven by surgical pathology were reviewed retrospectively.
RESULTSAmong the 16 cases, nine were adenoma (multi-lesions, n = 5; single lesions, n = 4) and seven were adenocarcinoma (multi-lesions, n = 4; single lesions, n = 3). Among the nine adenoma cases, seven showed nodules or masses in the expanding intrahepatic bile ducts with asymmetrical low density on plain scan, and two showed obvious expansion of biliary ducts and the inner wall of bile ducts was rough. All seven of the adenocarcinoma cases showed nodules or masses in the expanding intrahepatic bile ducts with asymmetrical low density-like adenoma. When contrast enhancement was applied, the nine adenoma cases manifested slight-to-moderate degrees of asymmetrical enhancement. For the seven adenocarcinoma cases, two showed asymmetrical enhancement similar to that of the adenoma cases and five showed continued enhancement; one case showed malignant infiltration of the bile duct and evident damage in the adjacent hepatic tissue. The CT plain scan findings for the two groups (adenoma and adenocarcinoma) were not significantly different (t = -1.17, P = 0.2632). Significantly different findings were obtained with the MSCT imaging analysis for the arterial phase (t = 6.53, P less than 0.01) and the portal vein phase (t = 5.63, P less than 0.01). All cases showed asymmetrical expansion of intrahepatic biliary ducts, diffuse or local, and four cases showed moderate expansion of the common bile duct. One adenocarcinoma case showed intumescence in the celiac lymph node by moderate asymmetrical enhancement.
CONCLUSIONMSCT is helpful for the differential diagnosis of IPNB from other hepatic lesions.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the changes in the numbers of blood vessels and mast cells, which is relative to blood microcirculation in skin, during Qingpeng plaster (ZANG medicine) being applied to the skin surface of nude mice.
METHODFifteen healthy adult nude mice were divided into Qingpeng plaster group and the control group. The sites of skin tissues stuck with the plaster or with control plaster were selected after 7 days treated, and then all the slices stained and observed.
RESULTThe numbers of the vessels and the mast cells increased in the dermal tissue of Qingpeng paster group. Although there were a few dilated blood vessels in the control group, but the numbers of the vessels and the mast cells were obviously less than those of the Qingpeng plaster group. Statistical analysis showed that there was a significant difference (P < 0.001) between tow groups.
CONCLUSIONQingpeng plaster can cause obvious vascular dilatation and promot mast cells aggregation in the Qingpeng plaster stuck parts of the skin tissue.

OBJECTIVETo study the changes of expression of Survivin mRNA, BCRP mRNA and HER-2 mRNA in breast cancer after TE regimen neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and to find biological markers to predict the efficiency of TE regimen neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
METHODSThe gene expressions were detected by RT-PCR from 56 breast cancer patients before and after TE regimen neoadjuvant chemotherapy (docetaxel and epirubicin). The relationships between these gene expressions and chemotherapy responses were analyzed.
RESULTSThe overall response rate to neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 71.4%, including 8.9% (5/56) with complete response and 62.5% (35/56) with partial response. Pathological complete response was found in 4 cases (7.1%). Stable disease and progression of disease were 23.2% (13/56) and 5.4% (3/56), respectively. The expression of Survivin mRNA after neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 35.7% (20/56), significantly lower than 60.7% (34/56) before neoadjuvant chemotherapy (P = 0.008). The expression of BCRP mRNA after neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 19.6%, significantly lower than 37.5% before neoadjuvant chemotherapy (P = 0.036). The positive rate of HER-2 mRNA expression was 41.1% before the chemotherapy, and reduced to 21.4% after the chemotherapy (P = 0.025). The effective rates of the single positive expression of Survivin mRNA or BCRP mRNA were both lower than that of negative expression (P < 0.05). The level of HER-2 mRNA expression alone was not significantly associated with the effective rate of chemotherapy (P = 0.144). When the expression of all Survivin mRNA, BCRP mRNA and HER-2 mRNA were negative, the effective rate of neoadjuvant chemotherapy was higher than that in patients with positive expression (P = 0.003). The level of Survivin mRNA expression was not significantly associated with BCRP mRNA and HER-2 mRNA (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe expression of Survivin in combination with BCRP and HER-2 is associated with clinical response to TE neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer, and can be used as predictive biomarkers for chemosensitivity of TE regimen neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer.
