1.Theory basis of syndrome diagnosis scale
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(07):-
Psychometrical methodology was widely applied in the development of TCM syndrome scales, without considering the consistency between the methods and clinical TCM syndrome differentiation practice and the difference between the syndrome diagnosis and syndrome evaluationt. In this article,we described the theory foundation of the TCM syndrome diagnosis scales, distinguished the difference between the syndrome diagnosis scales and syndrome evaluation scales from several aspects, and expounded the key steps and technical point of TCM syndrome diagnosis scales development superfi cially.Ischemic Stroke TCM Syndrome Scales based on these represented a satisfying performance in clinical validation.
2.Cluster Analysis of TCM Diagnostic Data in Different Stages of Ischemic Stroke
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(03):-
To discuss the distribution and evolvement of TCM syndromes in ischemic stoke,we investigated the TCM diagnostic data from 195 cases in the first three months. After the cluster analysis based on the data of the first 3 days,28 days,90 days after the attack, information of the first three days indicated that the variables could cluster into qi deficiency and blood stagnation, phlegmheat,qi and yin deficiency three groups;the information of the 28 days indicated that the variables could cluster into qi deficiency,phlegm-wet,blood stagnation,phlegm-heat four groups;the information of the 90 days indicated that the variables could cluster into qi deficiency and blood stagnation,qi deficiency,phlegm-heat and phlegm-wet four groups. The cluster analysis result shows us a dynamic process of the syndrome evolvement,TCM syndromes are variance in different stage, and become simplicity from complex after treatments.
3.Pathologic and VEGF changes of transplantation of endothelial progenitor cells for hindlimb ischemia in diabetic rabbit model
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(15):-
Objective To explore the effects of transplantation of endothelial progenitor cells(EPC)from autologous bone marrow for hindlimb ischemia in diabetic rabbit model, and the difference between diabetes and nondiabetes. Methods Rabbits were randomly allocated into three groups for transplantation therapy,PBS control group(n=8,A group),EPC transplantation with diabetes group(n=14,B group),EPC transplantation without diabetes group(n=8,C group).Diabetic rabbit model was established by injecting alloxan, and hindlimb ischemia was induced by complete excision of femoral artery.Diabetic rabbits with hindlimb ischemia were therapied by transplanted ex vivo expanded EPC,and then effects were assessed by capillary density and capillary to muscle fiber ratio, and VEGF in muscle was also determined. Results Capillary density, capillary to muscle fiber ratio, and VEGF in muscle increased significantly in EPC transplantation group with or without diabetes after transplanting 14 days(P

0.05);the cost-effectiveness ratio(C/E)were9.48and9.16respectively.The cost for every one unit increment of effectiveness for gatifloxacin group was11.43yuan more than that of the levofloxacin group.CONCLUSION:Taking everything into consideration, levofloxacin was better than gatifloxacin in the treatment of urinary system infection.

Objective To probe the effect of c-fos gene on the pentyleneterazol-induced hippocampal neurons apoptosis. Methods Using immunohistochemistry,TUNEL and flow cytometry(FCM),we detected the Fos expression and the apoptosis of hippocampal neurons;we injected c-fos antisense into ventrile before epilepsy and detected as up.Results Epilepsy can induce the expression of Fos in the hippocampus and peaking at 1 h(P

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy(ICP) Methods Totally 1241 cases of ICP during the 10 years from Jan 1991 to Dec 2000 in our hospital were retrospectively reviewed Results Forty four (3 5%) patients were multiple gestation One hundred and one (8 1%) patients had pregnancy induced hypertension ICP recurred in 30 2% multipara (38/126) On average, it occurred at gestational week of 32 6 Pruritus was the first symptom in 1201(96 8%)patients while 8 (0 6%) patients had jaundice and 28 (2 3%) patients had abnormal liver function at the onset Serum total bile acid (TBA), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) levels were usually mild or moderately elevated, while some patients had normal TBA(17 7%), ALT(15 6%), or AST(17 1%) level The albumin/globulin ratio was reversed in 35 (3 2%) patients Conclusion ICP tends to recur in subsequent pregnancy It is more likely to develop in multiple gestation Pruritus is the most common and prominent manifestation Elevated TBA and ALT or AST level is helpful for diagnosis It should be noted that the above manifestations might not be typical in some patients

Objective To compare the early renal function recovery after kidney transplant from donation after cardiac death (DCD) and brain death (DBD).Methods The Medline (1950-2011),Embase and Cochrane library database were searched and supplemented by review of conference proceedings and publication bibliographies. All original single institution studies reporting outcomes for DCD and DBD kidney transplant recipients were considered.Odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) based on random effects models were calculated. Results Nine publications, all cohort studies, involving 2049 DCD and 5498 DBD recipients, were included.DCD recipients had 7.24 times increased odds of DGF (OR=7.24,95% CI =3.86-13.58),and 4.97 times increased odds of PNF (95% CI =3.77-6.55).Conclusion DCD renal transplantation is associated with higher risks of DGF and PNF.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(15):-
Objective To analyze the effects of overexpressed iASPP on breast cancer cell line MCF-7. Methods The iASPP cDNA was obtained from breast carcinoma tissue by RT- PCR. The breast cancer cell line MCF-7 that overexpressed iASPP was established by stable transfection and G418 selection. The proliferation and apoptosis of the MCF-7 cells that overexpressed iASPP after exposure to cisplatin were detected by MTT and flow cytometry. Results The MCF-7 cells that overexpressed iASPP were successfully constructed. Overexpressed iASPP could significantly decrease the apoptosis rate of MCF-7 cells exposed to cisplatin and weaken the inhibitory effects of DDP on the proliferation of MCF-7 cells. Conclusion Overexpressed iASPP attenuates the sensitivity of human breast cancer cell line MCF-7 to cisplatin.

Objective To determine the rehabilitation outcome of patients with stroke caused by middle cerebral artery insult. Methods Eighty-three patients were divided into three groups: cortex insult group, basal ganglia insult group and combined group. Activities of daily living (ADL), motor function and walk were assessed by using the Barthel Index, Brunnstrom Stages and walking assessment. Comparisons of all data were carried out among the groups. Results On admission, there were significant differences among the 3 groups in terms of activities of daily living, motor function and walk. The cortex insult group had the highest scores while the combined group the lowest. A comparison among the 3 groups at discharge demonstrated the same results as those on admission. It was shown that all the groups improved significantly at discharge when compared with admission status, indicating that stroke rehabilitation was effective. Conclusion The motor deficit in the combined group was the most severe, but systematic rehabilitation could make functional improvement in the patient. The basal ganglia insult group has the biggest rehabilitation potential. The cortex insult group has the best outcome.
