Objective To identify nine species of Dendrobium Sw. by inter-simple sequence repeats-polymerase chain reaction (ISSR-PCR) method and to investigate the difference among the species of Dendrobium Sw. at DNA molecular level. Methods Ten primers constituted by simple sequence repeats (SSR) were tested for PCR and sepharose electrophoresis of the nine species. Results Seven of the ten primers amplified polymorphic bands. The number of polymorphic band positions of each primer ranged from 7 to 14, and the size of fragments ranged from 220 to 1 260 bp. The amplification patterns of two primers, namely UBC-807 and UBC-864, were higher in terms of polymorphic and amplified band ratio. Each of them was able to distinguish all the examined species. Conclusion ISSR-PCR provides a quick, reliable molecular marker technique for identification of different species of Dendrobium Sw.

To observe the effects of total flavones of Metasequoia glyptostroboides Hu et Cheng (TFM) on volume-overload cardiac hypertrophy and the expression of c-Fos protein in rat. Methods Volume-overload cardiac hypertrophy of rat was induced by aortocaval shunts. The rats were given ig TFM (400, 40 and 4 mg/kg/d). c-Fos protein in the ventricles were measured by immunocytochemical study. Results TFM at the above dosage decreased heart weight and contents of RNA and protein in the myocardium, inhibited the expression of c-Fos protein in the ventricles. Conclusion TFM can prevent volume-overload cardiac hypertrophy in rats. The inhibitory effects on the expression of c-Fos protein may be its mechanism in the molecular level.

Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate of adilty of two acute renal failure-specific scoring systenms (the classification by Bellome et al and the AKIN criteria) for predicting hospital mortality after cardiac surgery in adult patients. Methods Between October 1 st 2006 to Decemjber 31 st 2006, 509 adult patients who ungerwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and/ or valve operation were enrolled in this study. The medical data collection included gender, age, types of operation, perioperative he- modynamic parameters, urine output, biochemical parameters and outcome. Renal function was assessed daily according to the classi- ficatinn by Bellomo and the AKIN criteria, respectively. As references, Acure Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation(APACHE) Ⅱ and Sepsis-related Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score were also calculated. Resuits Three hundred and forty-one patients were male (67.0%), and 168 were female (33.0%), mean age was (56.2±12.0) years old. Tnree hundred and nine patieats un- derwent CABG, 182 underwent valve operation and 18 underwent CABG plus valve operation, Mean duration of ventilation support was (20.4±17.7) houra, and the ICU stay was (1.4±1.0) days. Postoperative hospital stay was (13.8±9.1) days. According to the classification by Bellomo., the highest in-hospital mortality was 52.9% in ARFS group. Mahiplicatinn of in-hospital morality rate was abserved (X2 for trend, P<0.01) in 0.4% (non-ARF), 1.2% (stage 1), 12.0% (stal~ 2) and 32.4% (stage 3) of pa- tients based on the AKIN criteria. By applying the area under the receiver operating characteristic ourve, the classification by Bellomo and the AKIN criteria had good discriminative power. Furthering, multivariate logistic regression analysis verified that the Odds Ratio of the AKIN criteria was 5.478 (P =0.028, 95% Confidence Interval 1.027- 24.856), after adjusting for gender and age. Con- clusion Analytical data confinned good discriminative power of both the AKIN criteria and the classification by Bellomo for predicting hospital mortality of adult postoperative patient with ARF.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2012;37(5):509-512
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate clinical characteristics, pathogens, treatment regimens and outcomes in patients with bloodstream infections (BSIs) after solid organ transplantation.
METHODS:
Clinical data of ninety six cases of BSI were analyzed retrospectively to identify the pathogens and the origin of infection, and to evaluate comprehensive treatment and the causes of success or failure.
RESULTS:
All 96 patients underwent the comprehensive treatments, including suspending administration of immunosuppressants and starting administration of appropriate antibiotics. The clinical characteristics of patients with BSIs after solid organ transplantation were atypical. The pathogens were various and seriously multi-drug resistant, which led to a high mortality. Among them 57 cases recovered, but the BSI-related mortality rate was 40.6%.
CONCLUSION
Stopping the administration of immunosuppressants, reasonable use of antibiotics, nutritional support and protecting the function of organs as soon as possible were of the greatest importance among of the various treatment plan. Avoidance of all kinds of infection in the first place is most important.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(3):184-187
OBJECTIVE:
To summarize the subtle anatomical structures of the normal nasal bone in multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) image through the observation of the three-dimensional images.
METHODS:
One hundred and twenty volunteers who had no nasal trauma and disease history were collected. The nasal was scanned using MSCT. Raw data was reconstructed into bone window images (slice thickness 0.6 mm, slice interval 0.5 mm), and then the images were imported into Syngo Imaging XS software to reconstruct three-dimensional images and to summarize the nasal bone's subtle anatomical structures.
RESULTS:
The subtle anatomy of normal nasal bone generally included four seams, two holes and one edge. The four seams were left and right nasal-maxillary suture, nasal-frontal seam, and internasal suture. The two holes were left and right nasal aperture. The edge of the nasal was the lower edge of the nasal bone. In addition, there was suture bone in internasal suture in some normal nose. The nasal aperture mostly was hole-like, but some nasal apertures were line shape. The nasal edge can be divided into flat type, wave-shaped type, inverted spike type, hook-shaped type and others.
CONCLUSION
The anatomy diversity and individual differences in nasal bone are large. MSCT and three-dimensional image reconstruction techniques, combined with the history of trauma could distinguish between the normal anatomy and fractures.

Chinese Journal of Stomatology 2012;47(5):277-280
OBJECTIVETo analyze the stress distribution in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) with different depth of curve of Spee (CS) by three-dimensional finite element model (3D-FEM).
METHODSFEM with different depth of CS were established. The depth was 2.50, 0 and 4.50 mm (model 0, 1, 2). The stress distribution were analyzed by software Abaqus. The change of stress were analyzed by paried t test.
RESULTSThe stress distribution patterns in TMJ with different depth of CS were similar. The Von Mises on the anterior surface of condyle and the Von Mises on the intermedial zone of the disc was higher. The S. Max. Principal of the condyle was mainly tensile stress. The S. Min. Principal of the condyle was mainly compressive stress. The S. Max. Principal of the disc was mainly tensile stress. The S.Min. Principal of the disc was mainly compressive stress. In model 0, the eviations of the Von Mises, the S.Max. Principal and the S.Min. Principal on the anterior surface of condyle were 0.1057 - 0.2298 MPa, -0.2243 - -0.3738 MPa and -0.3494 - -0.1165 MPa. The eviations of the Von Mises, the S.Max. Principal and the S. Min. Principal on the intermedial zone of the disc were 0.1099 - 0.6880 MPa, -0.3217 - 0 MPa and -1.2000 - -0.1000 MPa. The D-values of of Von Mises of condyle and disk between different models were extremely significant (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONSWith the same plane of occlusion, the stress distribution patterns of TMJ with different depth of CS is similar to that of normal occlusion. The final results also validate the anterior surface of condyle and intermediate zone of articular disc are the weight-bearing areas in TMJ. The changes of depth of CS change the value of the stress.

Tumor immune checkpoint therapy is a clinical treatment strategy developed based on the new principle of the inhibition of negative immune regulation. In this article, the tumor immune checkpoint therapy and the drug delivery strategies were reviewed, mainly including immunity and tumor therapy, tumor immune checkpoint therapy and its mechanism of action, clinical application of tumor immune checkpoint therapy and therapeutic drugs, immune resistance of programmed cell death protein 1 (PD1)/programmed cell death ligand 1 (PDL1) treatment and countermeasures, drug delivery strategies for tumor immune checkpoint therapeutic agents, etc. As a revolutionary new immunotherapy strategy, tumor immune checkpoint therapy has shown obvious superior therapeutic efficacy in a variety types of tumor. However, tumor immune checkpoint therapy is also faced with a big challenge, namely, immunotherapy resistance. With the discovery of new mechanism, the continuous development of new therapeutic drugs and delivery strategies, tumor immune checkpoint therapy is expected to further improve the clinical efficacy of tumor.
