Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics, short-term and long-term outcome, overall survival and prognosis of nasal-type,natural killer T-cell lymphoma(NK/TCL) patients. Methods Clinical data of 45 patients with nasal NK/T cell lymphoma from Jan 2001 to Dec 2008 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The complete remission rate was 53.3% (24/45)and the partial remission rate was 17. 8% (8/45), the overall response rate was 71.1% (32/45). At a median follow-up of 15 months, the 1-year,3-year and 5-year survival rates were 68. 3% ,57. 1% ,and 43. 7% respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that B symptoms was independent prognostic factors of NK/TCL( P = 0. 001 ). Conclusions NK/TCL showed specific characteristics, and the long-term survival rate is still poor. Investigation of optional treatment is needed.

AIM:To investigate the effects of estrogen on the expression of matrix metalloproteinases-2(MMP-2), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2(TIMP-2) and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) in cultured human corneal stromal cells.METHODS: Inflammatory environments of human corneal stromal cells were simulated by using 1.5ng/mL IL-1β.The cells were then treated with or without different concentrations of estrogen(0, 1×10-4, 1×10-6, 1×10-8, 1×10-10mol/L estradiol)in vitro.Cell viability was evaluated by MTT.Expression levels of MMP-2, TIMP-2 and TGF-β1 proteins were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).RESULTS:Estrogen did not affect the viability of human corneal stromal cells.Compared with the control group, expression levels of MMP-2 and TGF-β1 proteins in E2 treatment group significantly decreased after being treated with estrogen, while the expression level of TIMP-2 significantly increased.CONCLUSION: Estrogen could, to some extent, down-regulate the expression of MMP-2 and TGF-β1 and up-regulate the expression of TIMP-2, which might contribute to protecting human cornea.

To establish a method for determination contents of schizandrin, tanshinone I, cryptotanshinone, tanshinone II (A) and schizandrin B in rongxin pills. The HPLC method was performed on an Agilent C18. The mobile phase was composed of methnol and water wish gradient elution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL x min(-1). The column temperature was 30 degrees C and the detection wavelength wash 240 nm. The linear of schizandrin, tanshinone I, cryptotanshinone, Tanshinone II (A) and schizandrin B were 3.000-48.00 (r = 1.000), 3.985-63.76 (r = 0.999 9), 6.370-101.9 (r = 1.000), 8.690-139.0 (r = 0.999 9), 1.700-27.20 mg x L(-1) (r = 0.999 9), respectively. The average recoveries were 98.44%, 100.3%, 99.29%, 99.07%, 98.42%, and RSDs were 0.61%, 1.1%, 0.52%, 0.72%, 0.97%. The method is convenient, accurate and has good precision. It can be used for determination of the preparation.

Objective: To learn the health literacy status, trend and associated factors of Ningbo residents from 2015 to 2019, so as to provide basis for developing health policies and interventions. Methods: The monitoring data of health literacy of Ningbo residents from 2015 to 2019 was collected. The health literacy level was calculated and standardized by the population data of the sixth national census of Ningbo in 2010; five-year absolute growth and growth rate were used to reflect the changing trend. Multivariate logistic regression model was employed to analyze the influencing factors for the health literacy level. Results: The health literacy levels from 2015 to 2019 were 15.44%, 21.73%, 22.41%, 27.60% and 30.03%, with an annual increase trend ( P<0.05 ). The five-year absolute growth and growth rate were 14.59% and 94.49%. Objective To explore the simplified method by examining the levels of luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),estradid(E2) and stosterone(T) at different times in the stimutation test of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone(LHRH).Methods Sixty patients with precocious puberty accepted LHRH stimutation test.The levels of E2,T,FSH,LH before injection and after 30,60,90 minutes were compaired.The levels of stimutation test of LHRH examined with ACS:180 chemiluminesence.Results There were 39 patients in the group of central precocious puberty(CPP).The levels of FSH and LH in CPP group significantly increased after LHRH 30 minutes injection.The ratio of LH/FSH was higher than 1.The peak level of LH was higher than 12 IU/L.There were 21 patients in group of peripheral precocious puberty(PPP).Compared with the results before injection,the levels of LH were similar to the results of 30,60 and 90 minutes after LHRH injection.Compared with the result before injection,the levels of E2 and T were similar to the result of 60 minutes after LHRH injection.The peak levels of LH and FSH in two groups all focused in 30,60 minutes.Conclusions LHRH stimutation test is mainly based on the peak level of LH and the ratio of LH/FSH,the test can be simplified to examine the levels the of LH and FSH before the test and 30,60 minutes after injection as a basis for the clinical diagnosis.

OBJECTIVETo explore action mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) at "Fenglong" (ST 40) for treatment of hyperlipidemia.

METHODSForty SPF-grade SD rats were randomly divided into a normal group (group A), a model group (group B), a model diet-control group (group C), a model + EA group (group D) and model diet-control + EA group (group E), 8 cases in each one. The rats in group A were fed with normal diet continuously while those in the rest 4 groups were fed with high-fat diet to establish hyperlipidemia model. Afterwards, the rats in group C and group E were fed with normal diet, while EA at "Fenglong" (ST 40) was applied in group D and group E, 30 min per time, once a day. After 28 days of treatment, macrophage was collected in each group. Oil red O-staining was applied to detect the formation of foam cells, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISE) was adopted to measure the contents of total cholesterol (TC) in macrophage and analyze the rate of cholesterol efflux.

RESULTSThe counts of positive cells of oil red O-staining and the contents of TC in the group B, group C and group D were significantly increased compared with those in the group A (all P < 0.01). The counts of positive cells and contents of TC in the group C, group D and group E were significantly clecreased compared with those in the group B (all P < 0.01), and the decline in group D was more obvious than that in the group C (all P < 0.01). Compared with group C and group D, the counts of positive cells and contents of TC in the group E was obviously decreased (all P < 0.01), which was not statistically different from group A (P > 0.05). In the meantime, compared with group C, the rate of cholesterol efflux in group D and group E was significantly increased (both P < 0.01), and the rise in group E was more obvious than that in the group D.

CONCLUSIONThe electroacupuncture at "Fenglong" (ST 40) could significantly prohibit the transformation of macrophage into foam cell and increase rate of cholesterol efflux in macrophage, which could prevent and reverse the formation of foam cell and play an essential role in treating hyperlipidemia and stopping it from developing into a further level.
