β-Glucan is a kind of highly conservative composition on fungal cell wall.As a recognition receptor of β-glucan,dendriticcell-associatedC-typelectin-1 (dectin-1)widely distributeinsingle-nuclea macrophages system,dendritic cells ( DC )and neutrophil cells.Through the identification of fungal cell wall composition and cells signal transduction,dectin-1 induces the production of cytokine and chemokine and then starts a nonspecific and specific immunity response.Dectin-1 plays a key role in antifungal immune response.Here,the molecular structure,tissue cells,signal transmission and the immune inflammation role of dectin-1 in corneal infection were reviewed.

OBJECTIVE:To study the incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) and the rational use of Durogesic in in-patients METHODS:37 in-patients treated with Durogesic in Department of Oncology in our hospital were prospectively observed,and its analgesic efficacy and incidence,severity and the outcome of ADRs were evaluated RESULTS:The alleviating effect of Durogesic on carcinomatous pain was 100% Of 37 patients,ADRs were found in 4 cases with a ADR rate of 10 8% CONCLUSION:Durogesic is effective in clinical use,but attention should be paid to monitoring ADRs and avoiding irrational use of drug

Objective : To investigate the trends in incidence of malignant tumors in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province from 2013 to 2019, so as to provide insights into formulation of the malignant tumor control strategy. Methods: Data pertaining to the incidence of malignant tumors from 2013 to 2019 were captured from the Zhejiang Chronic Disease Monitoring Information System. Based on the International Classification of Diseases 10th Revision (ICD-10) and data from the national population census, the constituent ratio, crude incidence and Chinese population-standardized incidence of malignant tumors were estimated, and the trends in incidence of malignant tumors were investigated using annual percent change (APC). Results: The annual mean crude incidence and Chinese population-standardized incidence of malignant tumors were 356.75/105 and 226.97/105, which both appeared an overall tendency towards a rise (APC=5.887% and 4.815%, both P<0.05). The crude incidence of malignant tumors appeared a tendency towards a rise among both men (APC=3.860%, P<0.05) and women (APC=8.534%, P<0.05) from 2013 to 2019, and the Chinese population-standardized incidence of malignant tumors appeared a tendency towards a rise among women (APC=8.392%, P<0.05). The largest increase in the crude incidence of malignant tumors was seen among women at ages of 15 to 44 years (APC=11.599%, P<0.05). In addition, the Chinese population-standardized incidence of lung cancer, colorectal cancer and thyroid cancer all showed a tendency towards a rise among men (all P<0.05), and the Chinese population-standardized incidence of lung cancer and thyroid cancer both appeared a tendency towards a rise among women (both P<0.05). Conclusions The incidence of malignant tumors showed a tendency towards a rise in Yongkang City from 2013 to 2019, and the elderly and young females are high-risk populations for malignant tumors. Lung cancer, thyroid cancer and colorectal cancer are cancers that should be given a high priority.

In order to investigate the effect of deep brain stimulation on diseases such as epilepsy, we developed a closed-loop electrical stimulation system using LabVIEW virtual instrument environment and NI data acquisition card. The system was used to detect electrical signals of epileptic seizures automatically and to generate electrical stimuli. We designed a novel automatic detection algorithm of epileptic seizures by combining three features of field potentials: the amplitude, slope and coastline index. Experimental results of rat epileptic model in the hippocampal region showed that the system was able to detect epileptic seizures with an accuracy rate 91.3% and false rate 8.0%. Furthermore, the on-line high frequency electrical stimuli showed a suppression effect on seizures. In addition, the system was adaptive and flexible with multiple work modes, such as automatic and manual modes. Moreover, the simple time-domain algorithm of seizure detection guaranteed the real-time feature of the system and provided an easy-to-use equipment for the experiment researches of epilepsy control by electrical stimulation.

The molecular descriptors of impurities with known structure in cefdinir were calculated, selected and associated with the chromatographic retention behavior to establish a model. This quantitative structure retention relationships (QSRR) model for the related substances of cefdinir was established under specific chromatographic condition and verified by other impurities. 12 molecular descriptors were used to establish the QSRR model, F_AFRBWF, Blbn_J, SsCH3, SssCH2, SsNH2, SssNH, SssS, SHdCH2, EEM_AFc, EEM_AFpl, EEM_XFpl and Pi_MaxQ. The relativity between true values and predictions in QSRR of cefdinir is R2 = 0.9836 (n = 18), ΔRRT is no more than 0.154, as 10.17% in RRT. The results indicate that the QSRR model for the related substances of cefdinir can be used to evaluate the analysis methods for related substances and predict the chromatographic behavior of new impurities, which will provide a new way for the evaluation of the effectiveness for drug quality control.

AIM: To observe the effect of microRNA-16 (miR-16) on the megakaryocytic differentiation of K562 cells, and to explore the potential mechanism.METHODS:miR-16 was over-expressed or silenced by transfection with miR-16 mimics or inhibitor in K562 cells.The level of miR-16 was detected by real-time PCR.The expression of CD41, CD42b and CD61, as megakaryocytic differentiation markers, was detected by flow cytometry.The effect of miR-16 on the expression of myeloblastosis oncogene ( MYB) was measured by Western blotting, and flow cytometry was performed to confirm whether the effect of miR-16 on expression of CD41, CD42b and CD61 was mediated by MYB.RESULTS:Transfection with miR-16 mimics dramatically elevated the level of miR-16 and the expression of CD41, CD42b and CD61 in the K562 cells.Transfection with miR-16 inhibitor decreased the level of miR-16 and the expression of CD41, CD42b and CD61 in the K562 cells (P<0.05).The expression of MYB was regulated by miR-16, and MYB silencing reversed the regulation of CD41, CD42b and CD61 induced by miR-16.CONCLUSION:miR-16 regulates the megakaryocytic dif-ferentiation of K562 cells by targeting MYB.

AIM: To analyze neuron-related gene expression before and after mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) differentiating into neuron-like cells. METHODS: MSCs were induced to neuron-like cells with ?-mercaptoethanol. Before inducement and at 8 h after inducement, the total RNA was extracted, then the expression of microtubule-associated protein-2 (MAP-2), growth-associated protein-43 (GAP-43), NSE, nestin and neurofilament (NF) mRNA were detected with RT-PCR. RESULTS: NSE mRNA expressed before and after inducement, MAP-2, GAP-43, nestin and NF mRNA only expressed after inducement. CONCLUSION: The differentiation of MSCs into neuron-like cells may be related to MAP-2, GAP-43, nestin and NF expression. [
