β-Glucan is a kind of highly conservative composition on fungal cell wall.As a recognition receptor of β-glucan,dendriticcell-associatedC-typelectin-1 (dectin-1)widely distributeinsingle-nuclea macrophages system,dendritic cells ( DC )and neutrophil cells.Through the identification of fungal cell wall composition and cells signal transduction,dectin-1 induces the production of cytokine and chemokine and then starts a nonspecific and specific immunity response.Dectin-1 plays a key role in antifungal immune response.Here,the molecular structure,tissue cells,signal transmission and the immune inflammation role of dectin-1 in corneal infection were reviewed.

OBJECTIVE:To study the incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) and the rational use of Durogesic in in-patients METHODS:37 in-patients treated with Durogesic in Department of Oncology in our hospital were prospectively observed,and its analgesic efficacy and incidence,severity and the outcome of ADRs were evaluated RESULTS:The alleviating effect of Durogesic on carcinomatous pain was 100% Of 37 patients,ADRs were found in 4 cases with a ADR rate of 10 8% CONCLUSION:Durogesic is effective in clinical use,but attention should be paid to monitoring ADRs and avoiding irrational use of drug

Objective : To investigate the trends in incidence of malignant tumors in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province from 2013 to 2019, so as to provide insights into formulation of the malignant tumor control strategy. Methods: Data pertaining to the incidence of malignant tumors from 2013 to 2019 were captured from the Zhejiang Chronic Disease Monitoring Information System. Based on the International Classification of Diseases 10th Revision (ICD-10) and data from the national population census, the constituent ratio, crude incidence and Chinese population-standardized incidence of malignant tumors were estimated, and the trends in incidence of malignant tumors were investigated using annual percent change (APC). Results: The annual mean crude incidence and Chinese population-standardized incidence of malignant tumors were 356.75/105 and 226.97/105, which both appeared an overall tendency towards a rise (APC=5.887% and 4.815%, both P<0.05). The crude incidence of malignant tumors appeared a tendency towards a rise among both men (APC=3.860%, P<0.05) and women (APC=8.534%, P<0.05) from 2013 to 2019, and the Chinese population-standardized incidence of malignant tumors appeared a tendency towards a rise among women (APC=8.392%, P<0.05). The largest increase in the crude incidence of malignant tumors was seen among women at ages of 15 to 44 years (APC=11.599%, P<0.05). In addition, the Chinese population-standardized incidence of lung cancer, colorectal cancer and thyroid cancer all showed a tendency towards a rise among men (all P<0.05), and the Chinese population-standardized incidence of lung cancer and thyroid cancer both appeared a tendency towards a rise among women (both P<0.05). Conclusions The incidence of malignant tumors showed a tendency towards a rise in Yongkang City from 2013 to 2019, and the elderly and young females are high-risk populations for malignant tumors. Lung cancer, thyroid cancer and colorectal cancer are cancers that should be given a high priority.

In order to investigate the effect of deep brain stimulation on diseases such as epilepsy, we developed a closed-loop electrical stimulation system using LabVIEW virtual instrument environment and NI data acquisition card. The system was used to detect electrical signals of epileptic seizures automatically and to generate electrical stimuli. We designed a novel automatic detection algorithm of epileptic seizures by combining three features of field potentials: the amplitude, slope and coastline index. Experimental results of rat epileptic model in the hippocampal region showed that the system was able to detect epileptic seizures with an accuracy rate 91.3% and false rate 8.0%. Furthermore, the on-line high frequency electrical stimuli showed a suppression effect on seizures. In addition, the system was adaptive and flexible with multiple work modes, such as automatic and manual modes. Moreover, the simple time-domain algorithm of seizure detection guaranteed the real-time feature of the system and provided an easy-to-use equipment for the experiment researches of epilepsy control by electrical stimulation.

Objective To investigate the effect of ulinastatin (UTI) on the expression of brainderived neurotrophic factor ( BDNF ) and remyelination in mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis ( EAE).Methods Twenty-four C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into UTI group (U),normal saline treated group (S) and normal control group (N,n = 8,respectively).Demyelinations in the spinal cord were observed by solochrome cyanin staining.The expression of BDNF,myelin basic protein (MBP),and 2',3 '-cyclic nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (CNP) in brain tissue of each group were evaluated by Western blot.Results Average clinical scores in group U at the 12,13,14,22,23,31,33,34 and 35 days were 0,0.25,0.38,0.63,0.63,0.40,0.40,0.40 and 0.40 respectively.They were significantly lower than group S at the same time ( U= 16.00,15.00,14.50,7.50,0.00,14.50,14.50,12.00 and 14.50,all P ＜0.05).Solochrome cyanin staining showed that demyelination of spinal cord in group U was also significantly improved than group S.Expressions of BDNF ( 1.96 ± 0.29),MBP (2.67 ± 0.48 ) and CNP ( 1.75 ± 0.20) in group U were all significantly higher than group S ( There were 0.80 ± 0.15,1.36 ± 0.38 and 1.06 ± 0.18 respectively,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions UTI has protective effect on EAE.The possible mechanism is that it could promote remyelination,and protect oligodendrocytes and neurons in EAE model by increasing BDNF expression in brain.

AIM: To analyze neuron-related gene expression before and after mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) differentiating into neuron-like cells. METHODS: MSCs were induced to neuron-like cells with ?-mercaptoethanol. Before inducement and at 8 h after inducement, the total RNA was extracted, then the expression of microtubule-associated protein-2 (MAP-2), growth-associated protein-43 (GAP-43), NSE, nestin and neurofilament (NF) mRNA were detected with RT-PCR. RESULTS: NSE mRNA expressed before and after inducement, MAP-2, GAP-43, nestin and NF mRNA only expressed after inducement. CONCLUSION: The differentiation of MSCs into neuron-like cells may be related to MAP-2, GAP-43, nestin and NF expression. [

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS)for female traumatic urethral stricture.Methods Fifteen female patients with traumatic urethral stricture were examined by using TRUS and urethrography and the examination results were compared with op-eration findings.Results The ultrasonography results of all patients were in consistency with their operation findings,while the urethrography results of six patients were different from their operation findings.Conclusion TRUS is of great value in the diagnosis of female traumatic urethral stricture.
