A double targets of high throughput screening model for xanthine oxidase inhibitors and superoxide anion scavengers was established. In the reaction system of xanthine oxidase, WST-1 works as the probe for the ultra oxygen anion generation, and product uric acid works as xanthine oxidase activity indicator. By using SpectraMax M5 continuous spectrum enzyme sign reflectoscope reflector, the changes of these indicators' concentration were observed and the influence factors of this reaction system to establish the high throughput screening model were studied. And the model is confirmed by positive drugs. In the reaction system, the final volume of reaction system is 50 μL and the concentrations of xanthine oxidase is 4 mU x mL(-1), xanthine 250 μmol x L(-1) and WST-1 100 μmol x L(-1), separately. The Z'-factor of model for xanthine oxidase inhibitors is 0.537 4, S/N is 47.519 9; the Z'-factor of model for superoxide anion scavengers is 0.507 4, S/N is 5.388 9. This model for xanthine oxidase inhibitors and superoxide anion scavengers has more common characteristics of the good stability, the fewer reagent types and quantity, the good repeatability, and so on. And it can be widely applied in high-throughput screening research.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(22):1785-1788
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the correlation of the tympanic injection of triamcinolone acetonide, middle ear pressure (MEP) and radioactive secretory otitis media (RSOM) with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) after radiotherapy.
METHOD:
Fifty-two patients suffering NPC without otitis media before radiotherapy were randomly divided into three groups. 17 cases with 34 ears were distributed into treatment group I, and radiotherapy 1 hour before the start of each side of the tympanic cavity injection of triamcinolone acetonide injection, 1-7 weeks 1 times a week. Treatment group I had 17 cases with 34 ears, and radiotherapy 1 hour before the start of each side of the tympanic cavity injection of triamcinolone acetonide injection, 1-12 weeks 1 times a week. And control group consisted of 18 cases with 36 ears who didn't accept such treatment. In all 104 ears, MEP was tested at the begin of radiotherapy and the end of 1st, 2nd, 3rd month after radiotherapy.
RESULT:
From the beginning of radiotherapy to the end of th 1st, 2nd, 3rd month after radiotherapy, the morbidity of RSOM gradually increased and MEP decreased in the treatment group I , II and the control group, in which treatment group II showed the lowest morbidity of RSOM and MEP was maximum (P < 0.01), and the treatment group I showed the lower morbidity of RSOM and MEP was greater (P < 0. 05), while the control group showed the highest morbidity of RSOM and MEP was minimum (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Tympanic injection of triamcinolone acetonide could reduce radiation injury, and medication time was positively correlated with the MEP, and a negative correlation with RSOM morbidity, and the longer treatment, the more significant the effect is. The difference is most obvious at the end of 3rd month after radiotherapy. It may be due to the more active repairation after radiation damage in middle ears, but long-term efficacy must continue to observe.

Objective To use diagnosis related group (DRGs ) for the first time in overall evaluation of inpatient service performance evaluation of major diagnostic category (MDC)for all the Beijing municipal hospitals, and recommend how to strengthen Beijing municipal hospitals system in diagnosis and treatment ability of main diseases and improve inpateint service performance. Methods BJ-DRGs burster software was used to analyze the first page information of the medical records of cases discharged from all the Beijing municipal hospitals between 2012 and 2014 to determine the weight of each DRG,and based on such weight the related indicators of such hospitals and central hospitals in 2012, 2013,2014 were compared and analyzed. Results Improvements were found in such indices as diagnosis and treatment difficulty of 50% MDC,time efficiency of 81.8% MDC,cost efficiency of 77.3% MDC, and general capacity of 54.5% MDC for all Beijing municipal hospitals. In addition, the municipal hospitals were found superior to the central hospitals in such indices as cost efficiency of 68.2% MDC, and time efficiency of 59.1% MDC.On the other hand however, they were found inferior to the central hospitals in such indices as diagnosis and treatment difficulty of 72.7% MDC,and the comprehensive ability index of the two systems were found equivalent.Another finding was that there was no obvious improvement of the coverage of disease types at major tertiary hospitals in Beijing for the past three years.Municipal hospitals of greater contribution of MDC weight were highly consistent with the hospitals assigned with national key projects of disciplinary developments. Conclusion The comprehensive evaluation results of inpatient service performance of main diseases at Beijing’s municipal hospitals based on DRGs system, showed that the Beijing’s hospital authority had played an important role in improving inpatient service performance especially in reducing the burden of patients, improving the service efficiency through increasing government investment, optimizing service organization and implementation of performance management. But it also suggested that measures such as collectivize construction and management should be taken to improve municipal hospitals’linical specialty ability, improve the MDC diagnosis and treatment difficulty, and resume their functions of tertiary hospitals.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2006;22(5):779-783
Six 89bp primers were designed on the base of the cDNA sequence encoding the human leptin reported on the NCBI. The synthetic gene with 464bp encoding rhLep was obtained by SOE ( splicing by overlap extension) PCR. The expression vector pET22b(+)/rhLep was constructed and transformed into E. coli BL21 (DE3). The rhLep protein was expressed as inclusion bodies with the yield of more than 50% of total bacterial proteins after IPTG induction. The rhLep protein, which has a molecular weight about 16kD, was purified by Ni2+ affinity chromatography column and identified by SDS-PAGE. The MTT Assay shows that rhLep promotes EC304 cells growth at the low concentration of 10ng/mL to 30 ng/mL, and rhLep appears cytotoxic to EC304 cells with the high dose of 50ng/mL to 225ng/mL. The viability of EC304 cells decreases to 1.2% with the concentration of 225ng/mL of rhLep. The massive apoptosis of rhLep on EC304 cells is observed by AO-staining under fluorescent microscope. All these results would lay the foundation for the further study of its biological functions in vitro and in vivo.

Chinese Journal of Epidemiology 2010;31(2):194-198
Objective To gain detailed insights into the Borna disease virus infection and its genetic characteristics and phylogeny in Ningxia,China. Methods BDV p24 segment were detected by fluorescence quantitative nested RT-PCR from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of 119 patients with viral encephalitis,205 cattle,978 sheep,46 patients with cerebrovascular diseases and 13 patients with multiple sclerosis.Data from phylogenetic analysis on BDV p24 positive samples together with those from the positive gene sequences of animals and patients in the previous studies in Ningxia, were compared to the 29 sequences provided by the GenBank from 7 animals in 5 countries. Both the sequence homologous similarity of the nucleotide and amino acid sequences were analyzed and gene phylogenetic tree was reconstructed. Results Data from 23 collections of positive test samples, together with the ones from early detection of gene sequence analysis, showed that the homologous similarity sequences of both nucleotide and amino acid was between 95.3% and 100.0% and highly homophylic with HE80 that detected from ill horses in Germany. One part of nucleotide sequences formed the 'Ningxia independent branch'while the other one belonged to the 'Germany-Ningxia-Japan mixed branch'.There was a high identity within the branch. Conclusion A Ningxia independent BDV strain from geographical origin might exist while the epidemic strains were imported with multiple sources.
10.Analysis of alcohol mass concentration in corpse blood.
Journal of Forensic Medicine 2010;26(1):59-63
The blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is an important evidence to determine the alcohol level at the time of death. But due to the postmortem synthesis and diffusion of alcohol, the cadaveric BAC can not always represent the original BAC at the time of death. It is a crucial problem to determine the original level in corpse. The article reviewed the following points: the distribution in corpse, and how to sample, the influences on the diffusion of alcohol and putrefaction, the discussion about alcohol mass concentration measure methods.
