Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2009;29(1):134-8
In order to develop the heroin abstainers' cue-sensitization questionnaire (HACSQ), and evaluate its reliability and validity, during March and April in 2006, the cross-sectional sample survey and cluster sampling were adopted among 939 volunteer participants who were heroin abstainers from 5 compulsive detoxification centers in China. The data were collected by the self-report questionnaires. The reliability analysis included Cronbach's alpha coefficient, split reliability and test-retest reliability, while construction validity was analyzed in the light of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Based upon the exploratory factor analysis, 4 factors were extracted, which were social emotion cue (SEC), direct implement cue (DIC), personnel cue (PC) and indirect implement cue (IIC), and they together explained 64.52% variance. According to the data, test-retest reliability coefficient ranged from 0.57 to 0.63, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient ranged from 0.86 to 0.95 across the 4 factors and HACSQ. The adjusted goodness of fit index was 0.75. It was suggested that the HACSQ demonstrated good validities and reliabilities, and may be used as a reliable assessment tool for the cue-sensitization among the heroin abstainers.

Objective To analysis the health literacy status, trends and distribution characteristics of Ningbo residents during 2015-2016, and to provide basis for developing health policies and intervention strategies. Methods During 2015-2016, 9810 residents of 15-69 years old in Ningbo were investigated by face-to-face interviews using the unified national questionnaire and multistage PPS sampling method. Results Totally 9750 residents correctly filled out the questionnaire. The adjusted health literacy (AHL) of residents in 2016 was 21.73%, increased by 6.29 percentage points than 2015 (15.44%) .The monitoring results of two years both showed that there was no significant differences of AHL between men and women (P >0.05) . However, the AHL of residents with different age-groups, occupations and education levels all assumed significant differences (P<0.05) . The AHL was significantly higher in urban residents than rural residents (P<0.05) .Among the 6 health issues, the AHL of safety and first aid was the highest (2015: 56.98%, 2016: 61.32%), and the chronic disease prevention (2015:11.23%, 2016: 12.10%) and basic medical care (2015: 11.97%, 2016: 13.81%) were the lowest, also who had the smallest lifting range. Logistic regression analysis displayed that residents with higher level of education had higher AHL (OR=1.72, 95%CI: 1.61-1.83) . Comparison with civil servants, institutions, teachers and medical professionals, farmers (OR=0.74, 95%CI: 0.58-0.94), workers (OR=0.70, 95%CI: 0.57-0.86) and other occupational groups (OR=0.78, 95%CI: 0.64-0.96) had lower AHL. Conclusion The health literacy of Ningbo residents is on the rise, Knowledge of chronic disease prevention and basic medical care will be the main contents of health literacy enhancement program in the future, especially for people with less education.

This study aims to investigate the genetic characteristics of hemagglutinin in wild-type measles viruses in Henan Province, China and to provide a basis for measles control and elimination. Specimens were collected from suspected measles cases in Henan during 2008-2012. Cell culture was performed for virus isolation, and RT-PCR was used to amplify hemagglutinin gene. The PCR products were sequenced and analyzed, including construction of phylogenetic tree and analysis of the distance between the isolated virus and the reference virus; then, the variations in predicted amino acids were analyzed. The results showed that 12 measles viruses were isolated in Henan Province and identified as H1a genotype; the nucleotide and amino acid homologies were 98.0%-100% and 97.2%-99.8%, respectively. One glycosylation site changed in all the 12 sequences because of the amino acid mutation from serine to asparagine at the 240th site, as compared with Edmonston-wt. USA/54/A. Overall, the wild-type measles virus genotype circulating in Henan Province from 2008 to 2012 was H1a, with high homology between strains; there were some variations in amino acid sequences, resulting in glycosylation site deletion.
