Journal of Clinical Neurology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the changes of excitatory amino acids of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI) and its clinical significance. Methods The CSF levels of excitatory amino acids including glutamate(Glu) and aspartate(Asp) in 30 cases with ACI and 20 control subjects with migraine were measured by high performance liquid chromatography. Results Glu and Asp levels in patients with ACI were significantly higher than those of the controls(all (P

Objective To investigate the influencing factors of ankylosing spondylitis(AS)patients’life quality and medical coping styles.Method Two hundred patients visiting at the outpatient department of our hospital took part in the assessment on AS life quality and medical coping styles to look into the living quality of AS patients and its medical coping methods and influencing factors. Results The total score on life quality was(66.82±5.57),among whose dimensions the psychological function was scored the lowest by(10.65±4.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the scores on confrontation of coping styles were positively related with the dimension of social function in life quality(r=0.18,r=0.13,P<0.05),the scores on the avoidance of coping style were positively related to the dimension of physiological function in the life quality(r=0.12,r=0.14,P<0.05),the scores on yielding in coping styles was negatively correlated to physiological function of the life quality(r=-0.20,P<0.05).Regression analysis results showed that the AS patients’life quality was impacted by the course of the disease, coping styles and modes for paying medical expenses(P<0.05).Conclusions The AS patients’life quality is low and it is related to their coping style, the course of the disease and modes for paying medical expenses.Medical personnel should implement targeted interventions to guide patients into taking correct medical coping styles according to the specific condition of patients,in order to improve their quality of life.

Objective To analyze the interactions in lectures conducted by young teachers in medical institutions and investigate the way of improving their ability. Methods We analyzed the teaching plans and the actual performance of 31 teachers who enter the final of the 16th competition of young teacher's basic skills, 2011 and observed the lectures of another 15 randomly selected teach-ers, focusing on the interactions and the effects in the lectures. Results Among the 31 teachers, 19 (which is 61.29% of the total) teachers designed and implemented interactive teaching; 6 (which is 40.00% of the total) teachers adopted interactive teaching in daily teaching. Among the 40 young teachers included in the research , 27 ( which is 54 . 35% of the total ) teachers employ interactive teaching. The way of performing interactive teaching in all above situations is answering questions. Conclusions Interactive teaching is commonly used in lectures by young teachers in medical insti-tutions. However, the method is simple and the quality needs to be improved.

AIM To investigate the proliferation inhibition and inducing differentiation effect of diallyl disulfide (DADS) on human acute myeloid cell line HL 60. METHODS Inhibition of HL 60 cell proliferation was shown by MTT assay; cell differentiation was determined by morphologic observation, the ability of NBT reduction activity and flow cytometric detection. RESULTS DADS has significant anti proliferative effect on HL 60 cells in a concentration dependent manner. The reduction ability of NBT and cell surface differentiation antigens CD11b had significantly increased( P

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2009;18(5):405-407
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) in classification of fetal arrhythmias, and conclude characters of each type of arrhythmias by analyzing wave forms of TDI. Methods Fifty-five fetuses suffered arrhythmia were included in study group. By comparing the results with control standard(M and PW), the sensitivity, specificity and reliability of TDI in diagnosis of fetal arrhythmias was calculated. At last, the character of waves by TDI of each type of arrhythmia was concluded. Fetal kinetocardiogram was made to identify the origin of arrhythmias. All cases were asked to perform electrocardiography and echocardiography examination after birth. Results The sensitivity, specificity and reliability of TDI was 98%, 100% and 100%, respectively. The character of atrioventricular waves and kinetocardiogram of 8 types fetal arrhythmias were conclude. Conclusions TDI has great value in classification of fetal arrhythmias.

There were some problems in the seven-year pediatric clinical Teaching of Learning on the job in the past.It is insufficient that the teaching mode and teaching form raised the clinical diathesis and competence of medical students.Aimed at these problems, countermeasures are proposed from the following aspects.First of all,let the students learn how to be on good behaviour.Using"students'simulation diagnose and treatment method" enables the students to assimilate the knowledge learned by themselves, use the evidence based medicine(EBM)to give directions to paediatric clinical practice,so as to make the clinical medicine change from the experience type to the science type.

Objective To explore the value of multi-model reconstruction of 16-slice spiral CT in diagnosis of rib fractures. Methods 16-slice spiral CT volumetric scanning was performed in 72 patients with rib fracture proved by clinical, all images were reconstructed in thin slice and transferred into ADW4.1 workstation.Images such as multiplanar reconstruction(MPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP)and volume rendering(VR)were performed, then the reconstructed images of injured ribs were observed and analyzed by two experienced radiologists and compared with radiographs. Results In 72 cases, there were 217 rib fracture and 7 costal cartilage fracture depicted on MSCT.The location and number of fracture and displacement of fracture could be showed clearly on images of multi-model reconstruction.VR images were betten in demonstration of the anatomical structure,MPR images were better to show the minor lesion of rib fracture,MIP was the best imaging method in detecting the costal cartilage fracture, while axial image was the basic CT scanning section.Radiographs revealed 169 rib fractures but no costal cartilage fracture. Conclusion 16-slice spiral CT of multi-model reconstruction is superior to radiography in diagnosis of rib fracture and costal cartilage fracture. But the combinalion of various reconstruction techniques should be acquired.

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of cardiac involvement in children with mitochondriopathies. Methods The clinical data of 23 children with mitochondriopathies were reviewed. The changes of electrocardiography, echocardiography and heart enzymes were analyzed. Results In 15 cases of mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, lactic acidosis, and stroke-like episode(MELAS syndrome),electrocardiography was performed on 9 cases,6 of them showed abnormal electrocardiographic findings, including right bundle branch block,ST-T change,Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome,et al.On echocardiographic examination in 9 MELAS syndrome ca-ses,only 1 case showed hypertrophy cardiomyopathy.Six cases had increased plasma creatine kinaseMB(CK-MB) mass and only one of 12 MELAS syndrome cases had increased cardiac troponin I(cTnI) level. In 8 cases of subacute necrotizing encephalomyopathy(Leigh syndrome),electrocardiography was performed on 5 cases,4 of them showed abnormal electrocardiographic findings, including sinus tachycardia,ST-T change and low voltage. Two cases showed normal electrocardiography.Three out of 6 cases with Leigh syndrome showed increased plasma CK-MB mass. The molecular genetic examinations were performed in 13 cases of MELAS syndrome and 6 cases of Leigh syndrome. The mitochondrial DNA nt 3243 A→G mutation was found in white blood cells of 9 MELAS syndrome cases, the mutation rate being 37%-60%.The mitochondrial DNA nt 8993 T→C mutation was found in white blood cells of 2 Leigh syndrome cases. Conclusion In children with mitochondriopathies, myocardiac involvement is comparatively common, and even cardiomyopathy can occur.
