2.Comparison of full field digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis in predicting size of ductal carcinoma in situ
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2017;33(9):1349-1352
Objective To compare the accuracy of full field digital mammography (FFDM) and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) in predicting size of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).Methods Totally 30 women pateints with DCIS confirmed by histology were analyzed retrospectively. Two radiologists measured the size of the lesions on FFDM,DBT images respectively, and compared with pathological results. Two kinds of inspection methods correlation with pathology were compared with Pearson correlation analysis. Results Size of DCIS measured by doctor 1 and doctor 2 between FFDM and histology had correlation (r=0.857,0.818,both P<0.01),and those between DBT and histology also had correlation (r=0.924,0.885,both P<0.01).Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) of two doctors was 0.947 on FFDM,and 0.908 on DBT.Conclusion DBT provides a better estimation of the size of DCIS.Two physicians had high consistency for lesion size evaluation. For DCIS with microcalcifications, both FFDM and DBT provide smaller estimations compared with pathology, thus a bigger surgical resection of lesion is needed.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(5):352-357
Intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis is one of the important causes of ischemic stroke. It is of vital importance to guide clinical treatment using imaging methods to diagnose intracranial artery stenosis and accurately assess the degree of stenosis. This article reviews the advantages and shortcomings, advances and clinical application values of diagnosing intracranial artery stenosis using transcranial Doppler ultrasound, transcranial color-coded duplex sonography, intravascular ultrasound, magnetic resonance angiography, computed tomography angiography, and digital subtract angiography, which will provide references for clinicians to select ideal checking tools.

International Journal of Surgery 2015;42(11):739-742
Objectives To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of patellar plica under arthroscopy. Methods A retrospective survey was performed in 75 cases with patellar plicas under arthroscopy from Jun.2008 to June.2012.All patients were admitted by the clinic. All the patients diagnosised by arthroscopy and clinical evidence, and cuted off under arthroscopy. After the operation, patients were followed-up in the clinic and by telephone for 12 to 60 months, according to the knee joint Lysholm scoring system to assess curative effect. Results All the patients with successful operation, the operation time was 15-25 minutes. All cases after the operation without complications such as infection, quicker recovery of joint function. After 12 to 60 months, 70 patients were followed up, the knee joint Lysholm excellent score was 92.9%.Conclusions Inferior patellar plica under is a type of knee joint synovial plica syndrome, the arthroscopic surgery can determine diagnosis and do effective treatment.
6.Enhanced calcium release induced by tumor necrosis factor alpha in glomerular mesangial cells participated in hepatorenal syndrome
Journal of Chinese Physician 2013;(1):11-14
Objective To investigate the effect of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) on intracellular calcium concentration ([Ca2 +] i) and the contraction of glomerular mesangial cells (GMCs),and prove that hypercontractility of GMCs induced by TNF-α in hepatorenal syndrome(HRS) was connected with inositol 1,4,5-trisphophate receptors (IP3Rs).Methods GMCs were divided into TNF-α-treated 0 h,4h,and 24 h groups.Another 3 groups were blocked by 2-APB.The effect of TNF-α on [Ca2 +] i was identified and observed whether it could be blocked by 2-APB.Contraction of GMCs was determined by accessing the surface area of cells before and after contraction.Results TNF-α significantly increased ET-induced calcium release,in that we found higher [Ca2 +] i after stimulated by ET in TNF-α-treated 4 h group and 24 h group[4 h:(648.08 ±267.11) nmol/L; 24 h:(879.30 ±-260.29) nmol/L; 0 h:(619.93 ±258.94)nmol/L,F =5.486,4 h vs 0 h:P < 0.05 ; 24 h vs 0 h:P < 0.05 ;24 h vs 4 h:P > 0.05].This phenomenon can be totally blocked by 2-APB in all groups.The change in planar surface area in response to ET was slightly in control cells but significantly enhanced in TNF-α-treated cells [4 h:(2198 ± 340)μm2; 24h:(2260±553)μm2; 0 h:(2436±474)μm2,F =4.001,4 h vs0 h:P <0.05; 24 h vs0 h:P <0.05;24 h vs 4 h:P > 0.05].Conclusion TNF-α can enhance ET-induced sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2 + release and increase the contractile responses of GMCs to ET,which is associated with IP3Rs.TNF-α is responsible for hyperconstractility of glomeruli in HRS.

Antibody arrays, as a specific subset of protein arrays, are now used in a wide variety of applications. Although having evolved into indispensable tools for proteomic studies, they seems to be still at the middle point on the way to the final destination to have the antibody arrays with high sensitivity, minimized size and wide dynamic detection range to meet the needs for the detection of different samples. This article reviewed the recent development regarding how to improve the detection sensitivity of the antibody arrays.

Objective To observe the effects of bak gene on killing MDR bladder cancer cells and to study its mechanisms. Methods Bak gene was transfected into MDR bladder cancer cells by liposome. The mRNA of bak and bcl 2 were detected by in situ hybridization. The protein of bak and bcl 2 were detected by SABC immunohistochemistry. The growth rate of human bladder cancer cells was studied by constructing the growth curve, cell apoptosis being observed by flow cytometry, and the outline of cells observed by fluorescence stain. Results The expression of bak mRNA was positive in EJ/bak cells (64%, P

Correctly grasping the International Classification of Diseases ICD-10 and surgical classification ICD-9-CM-3 encoding method to improve coding accuracy and professional level is increasingly important to the current hospital information management.Through systematic continuing education training, the relevant personnel should be familiar with ICD-10 and ICD-9-CM-3 encoding rules, and continue to accumulate the appropriate clinical knowledge to improve their own coding levels.Coders should be a basis, six fits, that is based on the international classification of diseases and operation classification coding rules, coders should rcad more medical records, have more communication with clinicians, understand clinical medical knowledge,do more book search query for [CD code, sum up coding experience and multiply track the latest development of medicine and ICD coding.

Objective To investigate the dynamic change of serum Hcy level in patients with non-small lung cancer when under-going chemotherapy, and to study the value of monitoring serum Hcy for chemotherapy efficieney in non-small-cell carcinoma.Meth-ods In our study,we enrolled 62 patients with non-small-cell carcinoma when undergoing chemotherapy. The concentrations of ho-mocysteine,carcino-embryonic antigen and cytokeratin 1 9 fragments were detected, and then these results were analyzed by statisti-cal methods. Results Compared with before treatment, the serum homocysteine,carcino-embryonic antigen and cytokeratin 1 9 frag-ments levels in patients who had effective response decreased. After 2 courses of chemotherapy, the levels of the three markers were significantly lower than those detected before chemotherapy (P <0.05).But at the end of the first course, the serum hcy level was significantly lower than that detected before chemotherapy. There was no significant difference in the levels of the serum three markers in non-responders between before and after chemotherapy (P >0.05).The positive rates of the three markers were statisti-cally significant between single lung squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of the non-small-cell carcinoma. Conclusion The detection of the dynamic changes of serum Hcy in patients with non-small-cell carcinoma when undergoing chemotherapy is useful in evaluating the effect of chemotherapy and tumor activity.
