Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture on cerebral glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP)expression of brain injury caused by intrauterine infection in neonatal rats. Methods Forty-three Wistar pregnant rats were divided into 2 groups:lipopolysaccharide(LPS)(n=35)and normal saline(n=8).Pregnant rats were consecutively injected intraperitoneally with LPS(450 ?g/kg)or saline on gestation 17 d and 18 d.LPS group were randomly divided into acupuncture group and model group.Acupuncture group were given acupunctured from 7 d to 21 d.GFAP expression was assayed with immunohistochemical technique. Results The number of GFAP immunoreaction(IR)strongly-positive neurons in the cerebral white matter was more in acupuncture group, less in model group and only very weakly IR-positive neurons were found in normal saline group. Conclusion Acupuncture can up-regulate the expression of GFAP in the cerebral white matter, which may contribute to the effect of acupuncture in improving brain injury caused by intrauterine infection.

Objective: To prepare betahistine dihydrochloride sustained-release matrix tablets. Methods: The tablets were pre-pared with water soluble HPMC matrix, and the release behaviors were investigated by single factor study. The formula and preparation procedures were optimized by orthogonal design. Results:The optimal technology was as follows:using 60% HPMC K15M as the ma-trix material, calcium hydrogen phosphate as the filler, 10% PVP in 90% alcohol as the bonding agent;wet granulation compression technique was used to prepare the tablets with the tablet weight of 500mg. The in vitro drug release fits a Higuchi equation and the drug can be sustained-released within 12 h. Conclusion:The preparation technology is simple and the tablets have sustainol release behav-ior.

Objective To analyze the relationship between the levels of plasma total homocysteine (Hcy) and umbilical arterial with color doppler ultrasound with the severity of preeclampsia(PE).Methods A total of 70 cases of the third trimester of normal pregnancy, 72 cases of mild PE, and 66 cases of severe PE were selected. Then plasma Hcy levels and umbilical arterial with color doppler ultrasound were detected. Results Hcy levels were statistically significant difference among the normal control group, mild PE group, and severe PE group((8.950±0.585), (11.116±0.615), (14.648±0.620) μmol/L,P<0.05).Umbilical artery blood flow parameter S/D values in severe PE group was significantly higher in mild PE group and in contrg.1 group (3.43 ±0.72 vs.2.86 ± 0.82 vs 2.75 ± 0.56, P< 0.05), while the control group, mild PE group had no significant difference(P>0.05).Resistance index(RI) ,Pulsatility index(PI) in mild PE group and severe PE group were significantly higher than control group(0.60±0.05,0.78±0.07 vs.0.57±0.06;1.24±0.21,1.47±0.64 vs.0.67±0.35), and the differences among three groups were significant(P<0.05), while the mild PE, severe PE group had no significant difference(P>0.05).Hcy of mild PE group was positively correlated with S/D, RI and PI(r=0.548,P=0.009;r=0.587,P=0.008;r=0.324,P=0.02).Hcy of severe PE group was positively correlated with S/D,RI and PI(r=0.752,P=0.001;r=0.627,P=0.003;r =0.438,P=0.024).Hcy and the severity of PE was positively correlated (r =0.450, P < 0.05), S/D and the severity of PE was positively correlated(r=0.316, P =0.002).RI, PI and the severity of PE was no correlation (r =0.024, P =0.726;r =0.054,P =0.649).Conclusion The levels of Hcy and S/D were related to the severity of PE.To reduce Hcy,and monitor S/D were new ways for the diagnosis and treatment of pre-eclampsia.
7.Research progress on mechanism of bone marrow relapse in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2013;21(1):231-235
The mechanism of bone marrow relapse in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia has been deeply researched in recent years. The roles of hematopoietic stem cells, some gene abnormalities including IKZF1, JAK, CRLF2 and CREBBP, as well as mutation of genes influencing drug resistance have been confirmed to related with relapse of disease. The microRNAs, gene expression profile of patient, microenvironment of bone marrow including bone marrow fibrosis, mesenchymal stem cells and matrix metalloprotease, also play an important role in the process of leukemia recurrence. This article reviewed the details mentioned above.

Nanomedicine is one of the most promising fields in biomedicine. Inorganic nanomaterials stand out among many nanomaterials due to their excellent physicochemical properties, stable chemical properties and high biocompatibility. As an inorganic nanomaterial, bismuth-based nanomaterials have the advantages of adjustable band gap, low toxicity, easy functionalization, large X-ray attenuation coefficient, high photothermal conversion efficiency and long cycle half-life, so they have good promising application in cancer diagnosis and treatment. This review summarizes the recent research progress of bismuth-based nanomaterials in tumor diagnosis, treatment and biosafety, which provides a theoretical basis for the design and exploitation of a new generation of bismuth-based nanomedicine systems.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2020;32(12):1200-1203
Objective:
To establish a method for the determination of furans in tea by headspace-gas chromatographic mass spectrometry.
Methods:
The 20% sodium chloride solution and isotope internal standards were added to the crushed and weighed tea sample. Furan, 2-methylfuran, 3-methylfuran, 2,5-dimethylfuran were separated by HP-PLOT Q capillary column and then determined by gas chromatography mass spectrometry with electron impact ionization mode.
Results:
In the range of 5-400 ng, good linear relationships were observed in the four furan compounds, with the correlation coefficients ranging from 0.999 2 to 0.999 6. The detection limits ranged from 0.2 to 1.9 μg/kg, the quantification limit ranged from 0.4 to 3.1 μg/kg. The recovery rates of furans ranged from 95.4% to 128.2% when spiked at 5.0, 20.0 and 100.0 μg/kg, and the relative standard deviations ranged from 0.8% to 11.3%. Eighty-one tea samples were determined, the concentration of four furan compounds was highest in black tea, followed by dark tea, oolong tea, green tea and scented tea.
Conclusion
Headspace-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry can reduce the matrix interference of tea, and meet the requirements in the linear range, recovery and precision, which is suitable for simultaneous determination of four furan compounds in tea.
