Objective Our aim is to study the clinical manifestation and endocrine disorder of the bulimia nervosa (BN). Methods 2 cases of BN were clinically analysed. Results Most of the patients were anorexia before the disease happened, with many aspects of endocrine disorders. Conclusions BN and amenorrea could result from hypothalamus function disorders. However, the alteration of corticoid, thyroid hormones may be results of emotion stress and body weight loss.

Ginseng is a typical adaptogen which has resistance to various stresses. This effect is related to the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. As the main active ingredients, saponin has the similar structure to steroids. The regulation characteristics of ginseng saponin on the HPA axis are narrated from the aspects of total saponin and saponin monomers in this paper after the introduction of adaptation definition and HPA axis regulation mechanisms. Pharmacological effects of ginseng saponin and the regulation effect of HPA axis are summarized finally.

China Pharmacy 2017;28(10):1306-1310
OBJECTIVE:To promote the normative management of clinical off-label drug use. METHODS:The degree of devi-ation from the drug instructions and the risk degree were comprehensively considered, and the off-label drug use were classified in-to three different situations for classifying approval and informed consent classifying;situation and effects after classifying were evaluated. RESULTS:The classifying included occasional or small amount off-label use on dosage and drugs solvent (the first), regular off-label use on route or administration(the second)and super-indications drug use with contraindications(the third). The approval was classified as follows as confirmed with signature by doctor, approved by medical department, approved by pharmaceu-tical committee and ethics committee accordingly;informed consent classifying were signing informed consent, informing and re-cording in medical record, informing orally. Off-label drug use approval process was officially initiated from Feb. 2014 to Jun. 2016 in our hospital,51 off-label drug use applications from 13 clinical departments were received, with 16 items belonging to the second situation,35 items belonging to the third. Finally 42 applications were approved and 9 were not. No relevant new/serious ad-verse drug reactions/ events occurred in process of the approved off-label drug use. And no off-label drug use not approved was found to continue to be used in our hospital. CONCLUSIONS:Classification management methods for off-label drug use in our hos-pital have shown high operability, improved the off-label drug use behavior of physicians.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(11):-
Objective To optimize the processing method of Codonopsis pilozula prepared product by the factorial design and response surface methodology. Method In the two different optimizing processing, methods were optimized respectively on basis of preplanned experiment design and the percentage of extracts were also determined respectively. Drying temperature and time, bran parching temperature and time respectively as independent variable, their OD value as dependent variable, multiple regression equation was obtained and binomial equation was simulated as well. Results The r2 of Codonopsis pilozula dried product and Codonopsis pilozula parched product were respectively 0.976 4 and 0.987 9, meanwhile their optimized processing methods were drying temperature 80 ℃, drying time 2 hours and parching temperature 250 ℃, parching time 1 minute. Conclusion The effect of independent variable to dependent variable can be analyzed on three-dimensional chart with the factorial design and response surface methodology, consequently it will help to optimize processing method of prepared product.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(20):1559-1561
OBJECTIVE:
To review the pathological and clinical features and treatment of sinonasal malignant melanoma.
METHOD:
A retrospective analysis of 23 cases of sinonasal malignant melanoma. All the patients were conformed by histopathology, the most common symptoms were nasal obstruction and epistexis. Eight cases were treated with surgery, 8 with surgery and radiotherapy, 5 with surgery and chemotherapy, 2 with surgery and ra- diotherapy plus chemotherapy.
RESULT:
Twenty patients were followed up, the survival rates of 3 and 5 years were 50% (10/20) and 35% (7/20), respectively.
CONCLUSION
Sinonasal malignant melanoma has an aggressive behavior and easy recurrence and poor prognosis. Early diagnosis and reasonable treatment can increase the survival rate of the disease.

Chinese Journal of Health Management 2016;10(3):188-191
Objective To better promote the health education and health promotion among patients with chronic disease, general practitioners (GPs) in the community should master the knowledge of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). This paper aimed to describe the current situation of GPs' knowledge about prevention and treatment of NCDs. Methods Self-designed questionnaires were issued to 1 077 GPs in community health service centers, and all GPs finished the questionnaire without assistance. The content of questionnaire includes the general information of GPs and six questions focusing on NCDs. Results Overall, 1 076 GPs completed the questionnaire, and the response rate was 99.9% (1 076/1 077). With regard to the six questions about NCDs, 90.4% (973/1 076) of GPs were well aware of the diagnosis of hypertension. Apart from that, the knowledge of diabetes mellitus (60.9%, 655/1 076), factors related to NCDs (70.2%, 755/1 076), the concepts of mental illness (52.0%, 560/1 076) and the clinical significance of tumor markers (87.9%, 946/1 076) among GPs were adequate, while more than half of the GPs did not know a lot about home oxygen therapy. Conclusion The mastering level of knowledge about prevention and treatment of NCDs among GPs varies that they need further improvement.

AIM: To isolate peptides targeted binding and internalizing into glioblastoma cell line SWO-38. METHODS: Tumor cells were screened five rounds of whole cell screen through the Ph.D.-12 phage display library. The monoclone specific binding efficiency to the tumor cell was analyzed, and the DNA of phages were extracted, sequenced and translated to the sequences of amino acid. RESULTS: In the phage library after five rounds of screen , 10 of 13 monoclones had highly selective binding to SWO-38 cells. We found two repeated peptide sequences. CONCLUSION: Whole cell screening against tumor cells through random phage peptide library can obtain phage peptides with highly specific binding and internalizing ability. The peptides could be used as a therapy vector for tumor targeted delivery.

Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(01):-
MTM1 gene is essential for SOD2 activity and normal mitochondrial function. MTM1 deletion results in decreased SOD2 activity, impaired mitochondrial function and growth defect on nonfermentable carbon source. A yeast genomic library was transformed into mtm1 deletion mutant to screen for suppressor genes of MTM1. The damage caused by MTM1 deletion is irreversible and even overexpression of MTM1 can not rescue the growth defect of mtm1 deletion mutant. Another screening strategy was adopted: a plasmid overexpressing MTM1 was transformed into wild type before the MTM1 gene on chromosome was deleted. The resulting strain, designated YES2MTM1, was transformed with a yeast genomic library. Transformants lost the plasmid overexpressing MTM1 after 5-FOA treatment. Yeast strains able to grow on nonfermentable carbon source with MTM1 deletion and overexpression of some DNA fragments were picked up and candidate suppressor genes were identified. Overexpression of five genes were identified to be able to rescue the growth defect on nonfermentable carbon source. The study will provide reference for MTM1 gene function and screening for suppressor of genes whose deletion result in irreversible damage.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(11):-
The authors tried to combine the theoretical learning with experimental and clinical teaching by adding teaching materials of public opinion,head-simulator,typical cases, clinical practice, examination of clinical operation skill, and make up with deficiency to some extend in current pattern of stomatology teaching. The results have showed that the pattern of experimental teaching not only raises the students'activity, consolidates their basic knowledge, develops their clinical thinking ability, but also increases their ability of clinical operational skill before clinical training.
