1.Characteristics of fertility changes in women with advanced polycystic ovary syndrome
Journal of Chinese Physician 2021;23(1):142-145
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine dysfunction in women of childbearing age. It is considered to be a heterogeneous, multi-faceted disease with polycystic ovarian changes, hyperandrogenism, and endocrine. Clinical features such as dysfunction and metabolic syndrome, due to the presence of ovulation dysfunction, seriously affect the fertility of women with PCOS. With the increase of age, the fertility decline of females is mainly related to factors such as the decrease in the number and quality of follicles, the decrease in the number of available embryos, the decrease in transplant rate and the increase in abortion rate. The existing literature does not agree on the fertility window of elderly PCOS patients. This paper reviews several literatures and discusses the reproductive window problems of elderly PCOS patients.
4. Excretion of 20(S)-protopanaxatriol and its ocotillol type epimers metabolites in rats
Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2016;43(5):947-951
Objective To explore the excretion of the 20 (S)-protopanaxatriol (PPT) and its metabolites ocotillol type epimers (M1 and M2) in urine, feces samples and the excretion of Ml and M2 in bile samples. Methods The concentration of PPT, Ml and M2 in urine, feces samples and the concentration of Ml and M2 in bile samples were determined by the LC-MS/MS methods with or without the hydrolization by β-glucuronidase. Results After intragastric(ig) administration of PPT, the cumulative excretion rate for 72 h of PPT, Ml and M2 in feces were 14.88%, 1.34% and 0.084%, respectively. With the hydrolization by β-glucuronidase, the cumulative excretion rate for 72 h of PPT, Ml and M2 in feces were 14.77%, 1.36% and 0.085%, respectively. However, the epimers and PPT were hardly detected in urine. After ig administration of M1 or M2, the accumulation excretion rate were 4.41% for M1 and 47.2% for M2 in feces, while both epimers were hardly detected in urine. After ig administration of M1 or M2, the 36 h cumulative biliary excretion rate was 3.01% for M1, and only 0.068% for M2. The 36 h cumulative biliary excretion rate of M1 was 8.80% after intravenous administration, while only 1.24% for M2. Conclusion After ig administration of PPT, a small amount of PPT and its metabolites (Ml, M2) are excreted by the feces but little via urine, and there are stereoselectivity differences in biliary excretion between M1 and M2.

OBJECTIVE:
To study the hearing characteristics in patient with posterior circulation transient ischemic attack (PCTIA).
METHOD:
Sixty-two patients diagnosed by neurologist were selected as experimental group for testing of pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE) and auditory brainstem response (ABR). Thirty healthy subjects were chosen as control group. The data were compared between the PCTIA groups and the control group using the SPSS 14.0 software.
RESULT:
(1) The difference in pure tone threshold across 125 to 8000 Hz between the PCTIA group and the control group was not statistically significant (P>0.05); (2) In PCTIA patients, the prevalence of TEOAE was only 42.7%, significantly different from the control group; (3) The patients had longer ABR latency and wave interval than the normal controls (P<0.01).
CONCLUSION
Brain-stem and cochlear damage can occur in patients with PCTIA. These results suggest that OAE and ABR be used as important diagnostic test for patients with PCTIA, and might be helpful in localizing abnormality in PCTIA.

9.Comprehensive evaluation on the curative effect of TCM treating type 2 diabetes with three type dialectical therapy by Fuzzy Mathematics
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(11):972-975
ObjectiveTo comprehensively evaluate the curative effect ofTCM reating type 2 diabetes with three type dialectical therapy by Fuzzy Mathematics.Methods261 cases of 2 type diabetes were divided into three groups by syndrome differentiation,as follows:type of heat with yin deficiency, type of deficiency of both qi and yin,and type of deficiency of both yin and yang, and received corresponding therapies. The course of treatment was 24 weeks,in the first 12 weeks (period 1),on the basis of western medicine treatment, patients of the three groups were respectively treated by qingrungranules, ziyigranule and shuangtiaogranules. In the next 12 weeks (period 2),all patients were only treated by western medicine. The value of FBG,P2BG,HbAlc,TC,TG,BMI of the two periods were comprehensively evaluated by the methods of fuzzy mathematics.ResultsAt the end of period 1,the total effective rate of the type of heat with yin deficiency was 91.38%,the type of deficiency of both qi and yin was 87.16%,and the type of deficiency of both yin and yang was 83.34%; while at the end of period 2,the total effective rate of the three types was 59.18%,48.65%a nd32.65% respectively.ConclusionThe effective rate was obviously improved in period 1; while in period 2,the effective rate was decreased.
