1.Teaching effects of evidence-based nursing approach: a meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2010;26(25):74-76
Objective To evaluate the teaching effects of evidence-based nursing approach by using the meta-analysis. Methods The databases of CBM, VIP and CNKI were searched. The controlled studies comparing evidence-based nursing approach and traditional methods were included. Data collection and literature evaluation were performed by two reviewers independently. RevMan V5.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results Ten literatures were included in meta-analysis. Meta-analysis showed statistical difference between evidence- based nursing approach and traditional methods in the objective knowledge of nursing students. Evidence-based nursing approach was superior to traditional methods in the training of practical operation ability, comprehensive nursing skills, paper writing ability and critical thinking. Conclusions Meta-analysis shows that evidence- based nursing approach is beneficial in teaching effects compared with traditional methods. However, most trials included in the review were of low quality, so large- scale randomized controlled trials of higher quality are needed to confirm this.
2.Diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias in children with congenital heart disease after surgery
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2017;24(3):175-178
Arrhythmias in children with congenital heart disease may be associated either with the underlying abnormality or result from surgical intervention. The treatment rationale bases on the rapid and accurate diagnosis. As a general rule,risk-benefit analysis of drug therapy should be considered when facing an arrhythmia in a child, due to the negative inotropy. In the last decades,non-pharmacological therapy is progressively used in pediatric population.

Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of marriage quality intervention in peer education model among women with breast cancer. Methods Marginal quality questionnaire was used to assess in the intervention and control groups during the perioperative period. There had 120 breast cancer patients in the intervention group and 135 normal subjects for control group. The patients were followed by the peer education model and the marriage and quality education during the chemotherapy period. The marriage quality questionnaires were carried out one year after the operation. Results Marital satisfaction(38.73±7.45),couples communication(38.12±7.03)and sex life(36.77±6.96)were significantly higher than those of the patients who participated in the traditional health education group after 1 year of operation. The control subjects with traditional health education had lower satisfaction of marital life(32.59±9.29),husband and wife communication(34.41±7.39)and sexual life(32.59±6.59)in one year after surgery(P<0.001).The scores of marital satisfaction, husband and wife communication, and sex scores were significantly lower in patients with traditional health education after 1 year of operation(P<0.001).Conclusion Marriage quality interventions in the peer education model can effectively affect the marital quality of postoperative patients with breast cancer.

6. Research progress in receptor binding assay by mass spectrometry
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(15):1244-1248
OBJECTIVE: To explain that receptor-ligand binding assay is an important drug screening method, which can quickly and inexpensively study the interactions between the targeted receptor and the potential ligands in vitro and provide information about the relative binding affinity of ligand-receptor. METHODS: The correlative literature and abroad were collected and analyzed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The concept of MS binding assay based on mass spectrometric quantification of nonlabeled markers represents a promising alternative to conventional radioligands binding without inherent drawbacks. The technique will play an important role in the design and screening of receptor-targeting pharmaceuticals.

Swertio elongata S. W. Lioa dt T. N. He (Gentianaceae) has been found to be effective in the treatment of liver disease. The present investigation resulted in tho isolation and structure elucidation of four xanthone glycoside, two secoiridoid glycosides and a lignan glycoside in the plant. According to the chemical transformation, spectral (UY, IR, 1H and 18CNMR, MS) properties and comparison with reference samples, the structures of four xanthone glycosides were established as:4-?-D-glucopyranosyl-1, 3, 6, 7-tetrahydroxyxanthone (Ⅶ), 2-?-D-glucopyranosyl-1,3,6, 7-tetrahydroxyxanthone (Ⅵ), 8-O-?- D- glucopyranosyl-1,3, 5-trihydroxyxanthone (Ⅳ) and ?-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl-1, 5-dihydroxy-3-methoxyxanthone (Ⅴ). The structures or two secoiridoid glycosidcs were identified as swertiamarin (Ⅱ) and desacetylcentapicrin (Ⅰ). The structure of lignan glycoside was identified as (+) hydroxypinoresinol-1-?- D-glucosid. (Ⅲ).

Objective To study antidepressant effects of Epimedium brevicornum extracts. Methods(Behavioral) despair models of male mice, tails suspension test(TST),and forced swimming test(FST) were used to evaluate the effects of E.brevicornum extracts on behavioral, monoamine oxidas(MAOA) and monoamine oxidase B(MAO-B) activities in brain and liver tissue, and MDA level in liver tissue of mouse.Reserpine antagonistic model was also used to investigate possible antidepressant mechanisms of E.brevicornum extracts. Results The extracts of E.brevicornum(25,50, 100,and 200 mg/kg) significantly reduced the duration of murine immobility in TST and FST,inhibited MAO-A and MAO-B activities in brain and liver of mice, and reversed the elevated liver MDA level in mice in TST.There was no significant amelioration in the decreases of body temperature in mice of Reserpine antagonistic model.Conclusion(E.brevicornum) extracts possesses the definite antidepressant properties.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of laparoscopic treatment with one trocar for children with indirect inguinal hernia. Methods From May 2007 to December 2008,70 children with indirect inguinal hernia underwent laparoscopic high ligation of hernia sac by using a modified epidural needle in our hospital. Among the patients,56 children aged from 6 months to 3 years,10 aged 4 to 7,and 4 aged 7 to 13. Nineteen of the children had the disease in both sides, while the other 51 had unilateral hernia. A trocar was place into the abdominal cavity through the umbilicus with a modified epidural needle to introduce 4-0 silk suture. High ligation of the hernia was then performed, and fixed on the abdominal wall. Results The operation was successfully completed in all of the cases. The operation time ranged from 5 to 15 min in unilateral cases, and 15 to 30 min in bilateral cases. Follow-up was achieved for 3 to 21 months in this series (over 12 months in 22 cases). During the period,no recurrence was found. Conclusions Laparoscopic high ligation of inguinal hernia sac with modified epidural needle is effective for children with minimal invasion and a low recurrence rate, without leaving scars at the abdomen.
