1.Opinions about diagnosis and treatment of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2016;29(6):561-565
There should be confusion about diagnosis and treatment for multiple segments cervical myelopathy in some respects. The author reviewed the literature and combined with clinical experience, proposed a new classification for cervical myelopathy according to responsibility segment areas, which dividing into single segment, double segments (continues or jumping type), multi-segment (≥ three segments). The responsible segments determination is the premise of diagnosis and also a key to determine surgical decompression segment. Decompression only according to imaging was not desirable, surgical segment should mainly relies on clinical, imaging, electrophysiological and comprehensive analysis to avoid surgery range expansion. Surgical approach and procedures are still the focus and hotspot of cervical myelopathy treatment, and no treatment standards and corresponding guidelines to consult. The author proposes that surgical approach should advocate the individual, and surgical procedure should follow simple instead of complicate, anterior and posterior combined decompression is not necessary in most cases, and anterior and posterior fixation are not need.

Methods About 152 children patients with cracked wounds children's craniofacial skin from March 2015 to June 2015 were divided into two groups according to their parents' will. Group A, with 77 patients, was treated by the tissue adhesive Histoacryl and Group B, with 75 patients, was treated by traditional suturing. The two groups were compare in terms of the treatment time and effect. Result The treatment time of Group A was significantly shorter than that of Group B (P<0.001), while there was no significant difference between the two groups in the level of wound healing (P>0.05). Conclusions Compared to the traditional suturing, the tissue adhesive Histoacryl is advantageous, for its easy operation, short treatment time, prominent efficacy and beautiful appearance. Moreover, it can relieve the pain of children during the treatment.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
Aim To observe the effect of dopamine (DA) and its antagonist on the electrical activities of pain excitation neurons (PEN) in the caudate nucleus (Cd) of morphine dependent rats. Methods The right sciatic nerve was stimulated by train of electrical impulses as noxious stimuli to morphine dependent rats. The electrical discharges of PEN in Cd were recorded with glass microelectrode to observe influences of intracerebroventricular (icv) injection of DA and droperidol on the electrical activities of PEN. Results DA could decrease excitabilities of PEN in Cd of morphine dependent rats. Conclusion Results suggest that the depression of DA on PEN response in Cd of morphine dependent rats might be blocked by droperidol.

Objective To investigate the combination effect of tramadol and low dose propofol on emergence agitation in children receiving sevoflurane for adenotonsillectomy procedure. Methods Ninety patients receiving sevoflurane for adenotonsillectomy procedure were randomly divided into control group (administration of 0.1 mL/kg normal saline 30 min before the end of operation), tramadol group (administration of 1 mg/kg tramadol 30 min before the end of operation) and tramadol + propofol group (administration of 1 mg/kg tramadol 30 min before the end of operation and 1 mg/kg propofol at the end of operation). Time of extubation and time stayed in postanesthetic care unit (PACU) after operation were recorded, scores of Pediatric Anesthesia Emergence Delirium ( PAED) Scale, modified Aldrete scores and pain scores were obtained immediately after entrance into PACU, and the prevalences of post-operative nausea and vomiting were observed. Results There was no significant difference in time of extubation, time stayed in PACU and modified Aldrete Scores among groups (P >0.05). There were significant differences in scores of PAED Scale immediately after entrance into PACU, with control group > tramadol group > tramadol + propofol group (P < 0.05). The pain scores of tramadol group and tramadol + propofol group were significantly lower than that of control group (P < 0.05). The prevalence of nausea and vomiting was the highest in tramadol group, and the prevalence in tramadol + propofol group was significantly lower than that in tramadol group ( P < 0.05). Conclusion The combination use of tramadol and low dose propofol can decrease the severity of emergence agitation in children receiving sevoflurane for adenotonsillectomy procedure, and reduce the prevalence of nausea and vomiting.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2021;19(2):129-132
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture (EA) with different frequencies in treating migraine. Methods: Ninety patients with migraine were divided into a low frequency electroacupuncture (LF-EA) group, a high frequency electroacupuncture (HF-EA) group and a variable frequency electroacupuncture (VF-EA) group by the random number table method. Shuaigu (GB 8), Hegu (LI 4), Waiguan (TE 5), Taichong (LR 3), Taiyang (EX-HN 5), Fengchi (GB 20) and Ashi points were selected for all three groups. After achieving needling sensation (Deqi), the LF-EA group received 2 Hz continuous wave EA stimulation; the HF-EA group received 100 Hz continuous wave EA stimulation, and the VF-EA group received 2 Hz/100 Hz sparse-dense wave EA stimulation. The EA stimulation lasted for 30 min in all the three groups, once a day, 10 times as a course, and the clinical efficacy was evaluated after 2 consecutive courses of treatment. Results: After treatment, the total effective rates in the LF-EA group, HF-EA group and VF-EA group were 77.7%, 83.3% and 93.3%, respectively. The difference in total effective rate between the LF-EA and HF-EA groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05), but the total effective rate was significantly higher in the VF-EA group than in the LF-EA and HF-EA groups (both P<0.01). After treatment, the headache scores significantly decreased in all three groups (all P<0.01). The difference in headache score between the LF-EA and HF-EA groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05), while the score was significantly lower in the VF-EA group than in the LF-EA and HF-EA groups (both P<0.01). Conclusion: VF-EA (2 Hz/100 Hz), compared with LF-EA (2 Hz) and HF-EA (100 Hz), shows superior clinical efficacy in treating migraine.
