Citrullination is a post-translational modification of arginine caused by peptidyl arginine deiminase in the presence of calcium ions.Up-regulation of citrullination plays a significant role in the progress of numerous disorders,and it has important physiologic and pathological significance.High-throughput and quantitative methods with high specificity and sensitivity are still needed to identify the citrullinated sites in tissue cells.With the development of chemical derivatization and mass spectrometry, new rapid and accurate proteomics technology still has a good prospect of development and application.This article aimed to provide new ideas and directions to identify the citrullinated sites in the complex biological samples by introducing strategies available to identify citrullinated peptides, such as color development reagent analysis, immunodetection and mass spectrometry.

OBJECTIVE:To study the incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) and the rational use of Durogesic in in-patients METHODS:37 in-patients treated with Durogesic in Department of Oncology in our hospital were prospectively observed,and its analgesic efficacy and incidence,severity and the outcome of ADRs were evaluated RESULTS:The alleviating effect of Durogesic on carcinomatous pain was 100% Of 37 patients,ADRs were found in 4 cases with a ADR rate of 10 8% CONCLUSION:Durogesic is effective in clinical use,but attention should be paid to monitoring ADRs and avoiding irrational use of drug

Objective To investigate the association between ankle-brachial index (ABI) and serum uric acid (SUA) level in patients at high risk of cardiovascular diseases .Methods Three hundred and sixty-three patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus (DM ) were divided into hyper-tension group (n=189) ,hypertension plus DM group (n=123) ,and DM group (n= 51) .Their ABI was assayed ,SUA level was measured ,and other risk factors for cardiovascular diseases were detected such as BMI ,systolic and diastolic pressure ,serum levels of TG ,TC ,HDL-C ,LDL-C and HbA1c .Association of SUA level and ABI with other clinical indexes was analyzed by partial cor-relation analysis .Results The systolic and diastolic pressure ,serum levels of TG ,HDL-C and HbA1c were significantly different in 3 groups (P<0 .05) .The ABI was significantly higher in hypertension group and DM group than in hypertension plus DM group ,and negatively related with SUA level after adjustment for hypertension and DM history ,age ,gender ,BMI ,serum levels of TG ,TC ,HDL-C ,LDL-C and HbA1c ,systolic and diastolic pressure (r= -0 .235 ,P=0 .012) . Conclusion ABI is associated with SUA level in patients at high risk of cardiovascular diseases .

[Objective] To observe the regulatory effect of Huangqi Injection (HI) on immune function of patients after chemotherapy (CT). [Methods] Thirty-four patients confirmed as acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) received two cycles of CT. During the 1st cycle, the patients were only treated with DA (daunomycin + arabinoside) regimen; in the 2nd cycle, intravenous injection of 20 mL of HI, qd for 2 weeks was added. OBJECTIVE: To review the pathological and clinical features and treatment of sinonasal malignant melanoma. METHOD: A retrospective analysis of 23 cases of sinonasal malignant melanoma. All the patients were conformed by histopathology, the most common symptoms were nasal obstruction and epistexis. Eight cases were treated with surgery, 8 with surgery and radiotherapy, 5 with surgery and chemotherapy, 2 with surgery and ra- diotherapy plus chemotherapy. RESULT: Twenty patients were followed up, the survival rates of 3 and 5 years were 50% (10/20) and 35% (7/20), respectively. CONCLUSION Sinonasal malignant melanoma has an aggressive behavior and easy recurrence and poor prognosis. Early diagnosis and reasonable treatment can increase the survival rate of the disease.
