Objective To explore the applied value of metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods 80 patients with PCOS were randomly divided into the control group and observation group using digital form method,each group 40 cases.The control group were given the treatment of oral clomiphene citrate and injection of human chorionic gonadotropin.On the basis of control group,40 cases in the observation group took oral mefformin for 500mg/times,3 times/day.The clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the menstrual cycle and the serum T content and LH/FSH of the two groups patients were significantly reduced(P ＜ 0.05).The body mass index of patients in the observation group after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment and after treatment in control group,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of observation group were 92.5％,65.0％,respectively,which were higher than those in the control group (57.5％,37.5％) (χ2 =4.74,5.18,all P ＜ 0.05).The endometrial thickness in the observation group was(8.96 ± 0.68)nmn,which was significantly better than that in the control group [(6.74 ± 0.61) mm] (t =2.17,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Mefformin can significantly improve ovulation and pregnancy rate,and it has good clinical application value.

The key of individualized therapy is that using molecular markers to select more suitable drug.At present,some studies have confirmed that certain molecular markers can predict the efficacy of the drugs.For example,cetuximab is beneficial in patients with K-ras wild-type colorectal cancer,gefitinib and erlotinib are beneficial in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer( NSCLC),imatinib is beneficial in patients with C-KIT gene-positive gastrointestinal stromal tumor.In terms of safety,the promoter polymorphism of UDP glucuronosyltransferase 1 polypeptide A1 ( UGT1 A1 ) can predict the toxicity of irinotecan.

The number, scale, compiling institutes, subject distribution, languages, and application of medical controlled vocabularies covered in Taxonomy warehouse were investigated, the developments of the main medical controlled vocabularies such as LMLS, MeSH and ICD were described, which showed the following tendencies of foreign medical controlled vocabularies,such as ontological transformation,intelligent update and application,coopera-tive compilation,dynamic integration and disintegration, distribution as linked data.

Objective To study the associated factors of hospitalization delay in stroke patients. Methods Verified questionnaires were used to investigate all of the 179 stroke patients. The patients were divided into two groups according to prehospital time within or after 6 h. The associated factors of hospitalization delay were analyzed. Results The average prehospital time among 179 patients was (26.2±0.1) h, the median time was 7.5 h. There were significant differences in previous cardiac disease, distance between stroke onset site to hospital, convulsion or disorders of consciousness onset, first visit in emergency room directly or not, arriving at hospital by ambulance or not, time on ambulance between stroke onset site to hospital, time on route to hospital between the two groups (P < 0.05). Logistic regression showed the following factors were related to hospitalization delay: long distance between the site where stroke onset occurred and hospital, long time in out-patient room. Conclusions The phenomena of hospitalization delay is especially eommon and there is a low treatment rate of thrombolysis therapy in iscbemie stroke. The main reason of hospitalization delay lies in ignorance of relevant risk factors, clinical symptoms of stroke and using emergence system sufficiently.

The combination of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted therapies are considered to be major treatments for metastatic pancreatic cancer. At present, the target therapy-related medications include mainly antagonist of epidermal growth factor receptor, monoclonal antibody of vascular endothelial growth factor and so on. Erlotinib combined with gemcitabine has been demonstrated to prolong the survival of patients with pancreatic cancer.

The leukemic cellular surface antigens of 45 cases for ANLL and 36 cases of CML were detected and classified with a series of the domestic McAbs by immunoflurescent technique. The immunophenotype of ANLL was compared with its cellular morphologic classification. The difference of the surface antigens between the CML instable phase and the CML in blast crisis was analyzed. Four cases of acute leukemias (AL) which could not be classified morphologically were classified by McAbs. FAB M_1～M_5 could be divided into 3 phenotype groups: myeloblastic, promylocytic and promoncytic phenotype. The immunophenotype of ANLL tended to agree with its cellular morphologic classification. All 28 cases of CML in stable phase reacted with a neutrophil-McAb. However, there was no this antigen expression in 8 cases of CML in blast crisis. The immunophenotype of 4 cases of AL could be made with McAbs . Of these 4 cases. 3 were AL and 1 ANLL.

AIM: To study the correlation between the drug effects and serum HPLC fingerprint from active compositions of Radix paeoniae alba and Radix et Rhizowa Glycyrrhizae. METHODS: Orthogonal design of L_9(3~4) of the different combinations of three active compositions of paeoniflorin,glycyrrhiza flavoues and Glycyrrhizic acid were prepared,antalgic pharmacological experiments of mice were carried out.The fingerprints of the serum were tested by HPLC method and different chromatographic peaks were obtained.Correlation analysis was applied to interelationship between the area of each peaks and the pharmacologic data. RESULTS: Correlation coefficients were different between pear areas and analgetic coffec. CONCLUSION: This study provides a significant try of investigating the compatibility of composite herbal medicines.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the chemical components of the essential oil from Cnidium monnieri from Anhui versus Henan by GC-MS.METHODS:The essential oil was extracted from Cnidium monnieri by steam distillation;the chemical components of the essential oil were detected by GC-MS;the relative contents of the chemical components were computed using area normalization method.Peaks were separated by capillary GC-MS and their corresponding compounds were identified.RESULTS:36 chief components from Cnidium monnieri from Anhui and 45 from that from Henan were identified.28 components were noted in both.There was great difference between the two Cnidium monnieri.CONCLUSION:This study serves as a scientific basis for the further exploitation and utilization of Cnidium monnieri.

Objective To study and compare the effects of different surgical operation in treatment of adolescent idiopathic seoliosis. Methods 70 patients with adolescent idiopathic seoliosis and patients informed consent were selected as research object,and they were divided into group A 35 cases and group B 35 cases according to their willingness, and they were separately treated with videoassisted anterior thoracoscopic correction and traditional anterior thoracoscopic correction, then the surgical time, complications, hospital stays, rates of patients satisfaction, total effective rate and Cobb, before and after the treatment were detected and compared. Results The surgical time [(225.6 ± 30. 8) min] and hospital stays [(2. 7 ± 0. 8) d] of group A were all shorter than those of group B [( 365. 4 ±23. 8) min, (4. 8 ± 1.2 ) d] ( t = 3.26,3.78, all P ＜ 0. 05 ), complications rate ( 8. 6% ) was lower than that of group B (20. 0% ) ( x2 = 3. 45, P ＜ 0. 05 ), rates of patients satisfaction ( 97. 1% ) and total effective ( 97. 1% ) were higher than those of group B(80. 0% ,85.75% ) (x2 =2. 85,3.01 ,all P ＜0.05) ,Cobb( 14. 2 ± 5.4)°was smaller than that of group B(23. 4 ±5.6) °(t =2. 97 ,P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusion The effect of vidcoassisted anterior thoracoscopic correction in treatment of adolescent idiopathic seoliosis was good,and complications rate was low and it was worthy of extend and application.
