[Objective]To explore the change of serum gastrin and G-cell in gastric antrum in rat model of spleen-qi deficiency and the curative effect of huangqi jianzhong decoction(HQJZD).[Methods]Spleen-qi deficiency syndrome was induced in rats by compound methods. After the models had been established, they were treated by different dosages of HQJZD.And at different time points, serum xylose, creatine phosphokinase, gastrin and G cells were observed.[Results]These indexes in groups of different dosages of HQJZD recovered gradually.Especially after 21 days' treatment,in groups of the middle and the high dosages, these indexes were increasing significantly when compared with those in the model control group(P

In recent years, the number of ICU survivor is ever-growing with the increase of cure rate. The survivors′ outcome has aroused more and more attentions from medical personnel. ICU survivors tend to experience lasting physical, psychological and cognitive injuries, the post-traumatic stress disorder is one kind of significant psychological injury associated with patients′ critical experience. This review aims to summarize relevant literatures, introduces the prevalence, risk factors, complications, and interventions of ICU survivors′ post-traumatic stress disorder symptom, in order to prevent ICU survivors from post-ICU psychological injury and improve their long-term outcome.

Objective: To investigate the intervention of Shiquan Dabu Decoction (SQDBD) in the protein expression of VEGF. Methods: 50 C57BL/6 mice inoculated with lewis lung cancer were randomly divided into five groups and treated by different drugs. The ratio of antitumorand and antimetastatic of each group were calculated after 15 days’ treatment. The expression of VEGF was detected by SABC immunohistochemical method. Results: Low, medium and high dosages of SQDBD had the function of antitumor and antimetastusi at different extent. SQDBD could inhibit the positive expression of VEGF protein. Conclusion: Inhibition of the expression of VEGF protein is possibly one of the mechanisms of SQDBD in antitumor.

Aim To observe the changes of endothelin receptors and their subtypes of left ventricules in normal SD rats and dilated cardiomyopathy rats. Methods To establish the best conditions of the binding experiment, different protein concentrations, incubation temperature ?and?incubating?time?were?tested? with 125 I-ET-1 ligand respectively. With the selected conditions, saturation binding experiments were performed to determine the amount of endothelin receptor and its subtypes in normal SD rats and in dilated cardiomyopathy ones. Results (1) The optimal incubating temperature was 37 ℃. Under this condition, the binding amount of 125 I-ET-1 increased rapidly in 0~30 minutes, and reached to saturation point at 60 minutes, and there was a linear correlation between 125 I-ET-1 binding amount and cell membrane protein concentration. (2) Endothelin-1, bosentan,BQ123,BQ788 etc. could competitively suppress the bound of 125 I-ET-1 to endothelin receptors. (3) The amount of endothelin receptor in left ventricle of dilated cardiomyopathy rats was ( 92.21? 34.34) nmol?kg -1 protein, which was significantly low than that in normal SD ones. There was no change on the ratio of endothelin receptor subtypes A and B. Conclusion 125I-ET-1 can be used to determine the amount of endothelin receptor and its subtypes in varied tissues specifically. The amount of endothelin receptor in left ventricle of dilated cardiomyopathy rats is down regulated, but the ratio of endothelin receptor subtype A vs B remains to be 21.

Objective: To explore the effect of buzhong yiqi decoction(BZYQD) with various concentrations at different time points on gastrin(GAS) gene expression level in spleen-qi deficiency rats. Methods: The spleen-qi deficiency rats were randomly divided into the model control group and the low, medium and high dosage of BZYQD groups.Reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was used to observe the effect of BZYQD on the GAS mRNA of gastric antrum in rats treated at different time points(7,14,21d).Results: As compared with that in model control group, the GAS gene expression level were significantly higher both in the medium and high dosage groups(P

Objective To establish a UV spectrophotometry method and an HPLC method respectively for the determination of the total content of coumarin and contents of four main constituents of coumarin in Fraxini Cortex extract. Methods UV spectrophotometry was used for the determination of the content of total coumarin in Fraxini Cortex extract. The reference substance was Aesculin, and the maximum ultraviolet absorption wavelength was 334 nm. The HPLC method was used to determine the contents of Aesculin, Fraxin, Aesculetin and Fraxetin in Fraxini Cortex extract, using gradient elution with acetonitrile-phosphate solution (0.01%) as mobile phase on Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18 chromatographic column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5μm) at room temperature. Results For the UV method, the linear range of the mass concentration of Aesculin was 5.76-23.04μg/mL (r=0.999 9), and the average recovery was 100.6% (RSD=1.8%). For the HPLC method, the linear ranges of the mass of Aesculin, Fraxin, Aesculetin and Fraxetin were 0.055 0-3.850 0μg (r=0.9997), 0.053 9-3.773 0μg (r=0.999 8), 0.060 0-0.660 0μg (r=0.999 9), and 0.056 2-0.618 2μg (r=0.999 9), respectively, and the average recoveries were 96.97% (RSD=1.26%), 100.80% (RSD=2.22%), 99.04% (RSD=2.47%), and 98.77% (RSD=1.94%), respectively. Conclusion Both of the two methods are simple, accurate and reliable, and can be used for the quality control of total coumarin and the main constituents of coumarin in Fraxini Cortex extract.
