1.Effects of Glycosaminoglycan from Scallop Skirt on the Releasing of Vasoactive Substance from Endothelial Cells Injured by Hydrogen Peroxide

OBJECTIVE: To observation the effects of Glycosaminoglycan from Scallop Skirt (SS-GAG) on the production of vasoactive substance in the endothelial cells injured by hydrogen peroxide(H2O2). METHODS: In H2O2-induced en-dothelial cell oxidative damage model group which was established with human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC, ECV304) cultured in vitro, SS-GAG groups (at different concentrations) and the normal group, levels of 6-keto-PGF1a, Thromboxane-B2 and Endothelin (ET) in the culture fluid were detected by radioimmunity assay and the content of nitric oxide was determined by nitrate reductase method. 2.HPLC fingerprint of Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule

AIM:To establish a fingerprint method of analyzing Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule(Semen Persicae,Radix Angelicae sinensis,Fruclus Aurantii,Rhizoma Chuanxiong,etc.) by HPLC. METHODS: A HPLC in combination with PDA detector was applied with a HiQ C_(18)(4.6 mm?250 mm,5 ?m) column by gradient elution using methanol-1.0% acetic acid solution as the mobile phase.The flow rate was 0.5 mL/min and the detection wavelength was at 260 nm. RESULTS: Thitrty-six common peaks were obtained in the fingerprint of Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule with good separation,six of them were identified as adenosine,paeoniflorin,naringin,hesperidin,neohesperidin and ligustilide by comparing chromatogram with control compounds. CONCLUSION: The HPLC method with good precision and reproducibility can be used for the quality control of Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule.

4.Study on quality standard for Xiaozhi Solution

Objective: To establish the quality control standard for Xiaozhi Solution(Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Radix Scutellariae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, etc.) Methods: Radix et Rhizoma Rhei Radix Scutellariae、 and Radix Paeoniae Rubra in solution were identified by TLC. The contents of emodin chrysophanol were determined by HPLC. The average recovery of added sample were 99.10% ( RSD was 1.88% ) for emodin and 98.87% ( RSD was 1.21%) for chrysophanol. Results: The method was simple, accurate and specific. Conclusion: The method can be used for the quality control of Xiaozhi Solution.
5.Gene expression of MMP-9 in MCAO rats and the influence of of Buyanghuanwu Decoction on it

Objective: The experiment was undertaken to explore the blood-brain barrier permeability and the gene expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in ischemic cerebra and the impact of Buyanghuanwu Decoction on them. Methods: The (middle cerebral artery occlusion, MCAO) rat model was used. At 1h, 3h, 24h, 48h, 5d after reperfusion. They were measured. Results: In treatment group, the BBB permeability and the MMP-9 gene expression decreased. Conclusion: Buyanghuanwu Decoction can protect the BBB by inhibiting the MMP-9 gene expression.

Objective To study how to prevent the persistent ectopic pregnancy(PEP)effectively after the conservative celioscope surgery.Methods After conservative celioscope surgery,MTX(Group A)and the traditional chinese medicine(Group B)were taken to the people who had ectopic pregnancy to prevent PEP.Results 2 examples in group A had PEP,as well as non-PEP occurred in group B.Conclusion The function of the traditional chinese medicine after conservative celioscope surgery to prevent the persistent ectopic pregnancy was much better.
7.Characteristics of Hospital Infection and Bacterial Resistance in Intensive Care Unit

OBJECTIVE To study characteristics of hospital infection,risk factors and bacterial resistance in our Intensive Care Unit(ICU) to draw up effective interfering measure and supply the scientific basis.METHODS The data of 1115 inpatients in our ICU in 2008 were analysed prospectively and retrospectively.RESULTS The hospital Infection rate was 12.10%,the case-time infection rate 12.47%,the lower respiratory tract infection rate 56.12%,the G-infection rate 57.30%,the G+ infection rate 25.84%,and the fungus infection rate was 16.85%,These pathogens were resistant to antibiotics in various degree.CONCLUSIONS The ICU infection rate is obvious higher than that in all clinical departments.The resistance to most of the antibiotics are increasing which need enhancing bacterial supervi.
8.Matrix metalloproteinase-9 and inflammatory reaction

MMP-9 is one of the family of matrix metalloproteinases, which degrades extracellular matrix. MMP-9 is induced by many inflammatory factors, including IL-1?,IL-8 and TNF-?. Meanwhile, MMP-9 potentiates inflammatory factors by aminoterminal processing. The signal transduction by which inflammatory factors induce MMP-9 is also an important part in recent research. This review will give a summary in all these fields.
