Pain is all lumbocrural pain cases very common clinical symptoms, but the etiology, pathology, site (range or area), intensity, nature, evolution situation and influence factors of pain usually has some certain characteristics and rules, these differences particularly are regarded as the primary and important basis or clue for the clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis of related diseases. In addition, according to these differences can determine the individual diagnosis of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation as well, including typical and atypical, simple and compound, the general and special cases, these be- come the basis to determine the individualized therapeutic schedule of this disese.

These differences particularly were regarded as the primary and important basis or clues for the clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis of related diseases. A series of exclusive diagnosis for similar symptoms is premise of diagnosis of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion. Ideas and methods of differential diagnosis of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation can help the diagnosis and identification.

Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation clinical symptoms and signs are very complicated, lumbocrural pain is the most characteristic clinical symptoms, and show the site (range or area), intensity, nature, evolution, influence factors and adjoint symptoms and so on has certain characteristics and rules. Among them, the dermatomal pain, kinesthetic dysesthesia, dynamic changing pain and lesions segment vertebral side deep tenderness are the most impotent characteristics and rules of pain, therefore, can be regarded as the main basis of clinical diagnosis of the disease, and also the core content of this article.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
Present study investigated the effect of endotoxin from Bacteroides melaninogenicus ATCC 25845 on release of colony-stimulating factor (CSF)in mice. The bone marrow cells were cultured in semisolid agar medium, the number of colonies was as a level index of CSF. The results showed that as much as 0.1?g endotoxin could induce the release of CSF,moreover, The level of CSF increased with dose of endotoxin untill 50 ?g. The colony-stimulatin factor level of B. melaninogenicus endotoxin was 66.6?8.5(CFU-C). This endotoxin showed significant effect on bone marrow cells of mice.

Chronic cough can occur in children of all ages, and the incidence rate and consultation rate increase each year.Clarifying the cause of chronic cough is the key to treatment. At present, there are no convenient, operable and unified standards for etiological analysis of chronic cough in the world. Therefore, the etiological analysis of chronic cough has always been a hot topic in clinical research. With the development of diagnosis and treatment technology, the role of pulmonary function and exhaled nitric oxide in the diagnosis of chronic cough has attracted attention. This article reviews the application value of pulmonary function combined with exhaled nitric oxide in etiology analysis of chronic cough in children, to provide reference for etiology analysis of chronic cough in children.

Journal of China Medical University 2001;30(1):41-43
Objective: Our aims were to measure DNA content in primary lung cancer and to study the relationship between the DNA content and TNM stage, histological differentiation of tumor cell, cellular proliferation, and apoptosis. Methods: The DNA content and cellular proliferation were analyzed using flow cytometry. Tumor cell apoptosis was detected by using TUNEL method. Results: (1) The DNA index (DI) distribution ranged from 0.829 to 2.514. There were 41 cases (77.4%) of DNA aneuploid. The distribution of DI and DNA aneuploid was independent of histological subtypes(P>0.05).(2) With the increase of TNM stage, the DI and the rate of DNA aneuploid increased(P<0.05).(3) There was relationship between DI and histological differentiation of tumor cell. The DI was higher in tumors of poor differentiation than those in tumors of moderate and good differentiation(P<0.05 and P<0.01). (4) The cellular proliferation index of aneuploid tumors was significantly higher than that of diploid tumors(P<0.01), while apoptosis index of aneuploid tumors was significantly lower than that of diploid tumors (P<0.01). Conclusion: Correlations exist between DNA content and TNM stage, hiological differentiation, cellular proliferation, and apoptosis.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Aim To investigate the effects of Curcumin on Heme oxygenase isozymes in SH-SY5Y cells and explore a new mechanism of Curcumin in neuroprotection. Methods The human SH-SY5Y cells were cultured in vitro and treated with Curcumin at 0,1.25,5.0,20 ?mol?L-1 for 24 h,or with Curcumin at 5.0 ?mol?L-1 for 0,12,24,and 48 h. The active oxygen was detected by fluorescent probe DCFH-DA and fluorospectro-photometer. RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of HO-1 and HO-2 mRNA. Western blot was performed to detect the levels of HO-1 and HO-2 protein. Results The results showed that Curcumin could inhibit the levels of active oxygen(P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(08):-
Aim To investigate the effect of Curcumin on the expression of HO-1 and Nrf-2,and explore the machanism of neuroprotection of Curcumin. Methods SH-SY5Y cells were treated with Curcumin at 0,1. 25, 5. 0,20. 0 ?mol?L -1,or with Curcumin at 5. 0?mol? L -1 for 12,24,48 h for the time course assay. RT-PCR and Western blot assays were carried out to detect mRNA and protein expression of Nrf-2 and HO-1. Nrf-2 siRNA was used to dectect the expression of HO-1 with the absence of Nrf-2. Results RT-PCR and Westernblot results indicated that the mRNA and protein expression of HO-1 and Nrf-2 all increased in a dose-and time-dependent manner after Curcumin treatment in the SH-SY5Y cells ( P
