OBJECTIVETo study the effect of occupational stress on cardiovascular function of different vocational population.
METHODSThe occupational stressors, risk factors of cardiovascular diseases were investigated by questionnaire in 839 people with 4 kinds of jobs. Blood pressure, sugar, and lipid were detected at the same time.
RESULTSBlood pressure were higher in the groups of old age, long standing and teachers, and the abnormal rate of blood pressure was 21.69%. There was no difference in abnormal ECG among ages, standing and occupation, and the abnormal rate of ECG was 19.07%. Job control, job demands, job responsibility, role in a job and shift work were the main stress factors affecting systolic and diastolic blood pressure. More conflict in job, less chance of participation, severe job loads were the risk factors of primary hypertension. Accident due to job responsibility, job responsibility, role in a job were the main risk factors of abnormal electrocardiograph. Self-respect and activity beyond work were the good modifiers of heart function.
CONCLUSIONOccupational stress has certain effect on cardiovascular function.

Objective To explore the effects of thapsigargin on the cell cycle, apoptosis and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase (Caspase-12) protein expression in mouse lung fibroblast stimulated transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1).Methods Mice lung fibroblast lines frozen in liquid nitrogen were recovered and cultured.Experiment was divided into three groups:the control group, model group and experimental group.RPMI-1640 medium was only add in the control group,5 ng · mL-1 TGF-β1 was add in the model group;while in experimental group,5 ng · mL-1 TGF-β1 was add for 24 hours, then 4 pmol · L-1 thapsigargin was add. After 24 h,the cell cycle and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry instrument. The protein expression of caspase-12 was examined using the immunohistochemical method. Results In control group, model group and experimental group, the proportion of G1 phase cells were (58.72 ±8.35)%,(52.13 ±7.61)% and (73.02 ±9.32)%,which of S phase cells were (29.50 ± 4.24) %,(40.54 ± 6.31) % and (21.66 ± 4.17) %,G2 phase cells was (11.75 ± 0.96) %,(7.62 ± 3.22)% and (6.09 ± 2.11)% respectively, the differences had statistical significance in G1 phase,S phase and G2 phase among groups (all P < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in G2 phase between experimental group and model group (P > 0.05).The apoptosis rate in control group, model group and experimenta group were 6.73%,5.03% and 21.53% respectively, the protein expression of Caspase-12 were 3356.45 ±205.74,2645.56 ± 168.36 and 5424.76 ± 241.79,the differences in above two indicators were statistical significant (all P < 0.05).Conclusion Thapsigargin could promote the apoptosis of lung fibroblast and increase the protein expression of caspase-12.

Objective To study the therapeutic mechanisms of pseudolaric acid on allergic contact dermatitis in mice. Methods A total of 50 BALB/C mice were selected and randomly divided into control group, model group, and treatment A, B, C groups with 10 rats in each group. ACD model was established in model group, and treatment A, B, C groups but not in control group. Model group received no treatment, but treatment A, B, C groups were treated with external application of the concentration of 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.4% of the pseudolaric acid for the lesions of ear skin. And the weight gain and the swelling degree of the mice' ear were recorded, weight of thymus and spleen were measured. Spleen suspension was prepared to test T lymphocyte and B lymphocyte levels of mice in five groups. Changes in serum IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-10 levels were tested through the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results The weight gain of mice in model group were significant lower than those of mice in the control group and the treatment A, B, C groups (P < 0.05). Weight gain of mice in treatment A, B groups were significant lower than that of control group (P < 0.05), but the difference in weight gain between treatment C group and control group showed no significant difference (P > 0.05). The swelling degree and the weight of mice ears in model group were significant higher than those of mice in control group and treatment A, B, C groups (P < 0.05). Swelling degree and the weight of mice ears of treatment A, B, C groups were obviously higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). The swelling degree and weight of mice' ears in treatment A, B, C groups were decreased with the increase of the drug dosage, but comparison between A, B and C group showed statistically differences (P < 0.05). The thymus and spleen index of mice in model group were significant higher than those of the other four groups (P < 0.05), among the four groups, thymus and spleen index of treatment A and B group were higher than control group and treatment C group (P < 0.05). The stimulation index of T and B cells of mice in model group was significantly higher than the rest four groups (P < 0.05). The serum IFN-γ level of mice in control group and treatment A, B and C group was obviously lower than that of mice in model group (P < 0.05). The serum IFN-γ level of mice in treatment A, B and C group were decreased with the increasing of the drug dosage, and the level of C group was obviously lower than that of A and B group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The pseudolaric acid has anti-inflammation and immune adjustment the effects showing a remarkable therapeutic effects for the ACD mice.

Traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) glues, including leather glues, horn glues, nail glues and bone glues, have a long application history and unique characteristics. In recent years, their market demand has increased year by year because of their remarkable curative efficacy and nourishing effects, which leads to insufficient supply of raw material resources, and widespread use of fake and inferior products, seriously affecting the reputation of TCM glues and drug safety. In this context, the establishment of a more specific quality detection method for the TCM glues according to their specific characteristics can effectively improve the quality control level, promote rational use,and have a far-reaching impact on the industrial development of TCM glues. In this paper, the classification of TCM glues,as well as the production and application status of their representative( Ejiao) were briefly introduced; the papers on quality control technologies of TCM glues, including traditional identification experience, authenticity identification, physical property determination, protein, peptide and amino acid contents determination, element analysis, biological evaluation, and brand protection technology of TCM glues, were reviewed, and their advantages and disadvantages were summarized and analyzed comprehensively.Based on the specific characteristics of TCM glues, such as complex material basis, unclear pharmacodynamic components and different production processes,it was proposed in this paper to research and develop information-rich,convenient,fast,and non-destructive analytical techniques for the quality control of TCM glues and brand protection of famous products, thus promoting the healthy development of TCM glues industry.
