1.Effect of Ligustrazine on Pulmonary Fibrosis Caused by Hyperoxia in Neonatal Rats
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the protective effect of Ligustrazine on pulmonary fibrosis caused by hyperoxia in neonatal rats.Met-hods Eighty Sprague-Dawley(SD)clean neonatal rats, which were less than 12 hours old, were enrolled in this study. The neonatal rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:air-exposed control group(group A);air-exposed plus Ligustrazine-treated group(group B);hype-roxia-exposed control group(group C);hyperoxia-exposed plus Ligustrazine-treated group(group D).The neonatal rats of group B and group D were intraperitoneally injected with Ligustrazine[30 mg/(kg?d)] in solution of normal saline(NS),group A and group C were intraperitoneally given the same dose of NS.On 14th day,10 rats of each group were randomly chosen and then killed, the pulmonary pathological changes were observed by HE staining under light microscope. The area percentages of collagen fibers were measured by Masson staining and imaging analysis. The degree of pulmonary fibrosis was evaluated by the area percentages of collagen fibers and hydroxyproline content. The results were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software. Results On the 14th day of the exposure, the histopathologic examination demonstrated broadened lung interstitium and reduced alveolar quantity and lung fibrosis were developed in group C;Ligustrazine treatment obviously alle-viated the changes of lung histomorphology. The newborn rats in group C had lower body weight compared that of with group A,B(Pa0.05).Conclusion Early use of Ligustrazine can decrease the severity of the pulmonary fibrosis of neonatal rats exposed to hyperoxia.
2.Research on Acupuncture Treatment of Female Climacteric Syndrome
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2004;2(4):19-21
Purpose: To observe the curative effect of acupuncture on female climacteric syndrome. Methods: Guanyuan (CV 4), Zhongji (CV 3), Zigong (Ex-CA 1), and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) were selected as main acupoints to treat 30 cases of female climacteric syndrome according to TCM principle of aiming mainly at the kidney in the treatment of this disease. Results: The total effective rate from acupuncture treatment of this disease was 90%. It was found in the patients that serum endocrine hormones changed significantly after acupuncture as compared with before it (P<0.05). Conclusion: It is preliminarily considered that acupuncture has a comprehensive regulating effect on neuroendocrine system and can restore the dysfunctional vegetative nervous and endocrine systems to a stable state, removing or reliving various clinical symptoms in women's climacteric.

Objective To investigate the role of Wnt signal pathway related proteins in the tumorigenesis of sponta-neous breast cancer in TA2 mice. Methods Mammary glands were collected from tissues of normal 5 cases of TA2 mice. Spontaneous breast cancers and relevant mammary glands precancerous lesions were harvested from 5 cases of TA2 mice. Mammary tissue samples from normal TA2 mice, precancerous lesions and cancer tissues of spontaneous breast cancer-bearing TA2 mice were subsequently used to detect the expression of Wnt1,Wnt5a andβ-catenin via immunohistochemical staining. Results ① Results of immunohistochemical staining showed that the positive ex-pression of Wnt1 and Wnt5 a located in cytoplasm in spontaneous breast cancers and mammary gland precancerous lesions from TA2 mice. The normal mammary glands were negative for Wnt1 and Wnt5a staining. The cytoplasm of precancerous lesions showed higher expression for Wnt1 and Wnt5a than them in the breast cancer. β-catenin in breast cancer and precancerous lesions were abnormal cytoplasmic expression. The expression level in breast cancer was higher than in the precancerous lesions. In normal mammary gland, the positive expression ofβ-catenin mainly located in the cytomembrane. ② The positive expression rates of Wnt1, Wnt5a and β-catenin in normal breast group, precancerous group and breast cancer group were ( 4. 46 ± 3. 57 )%, ( 96. 50 ± 6. 30 )%, ( 90. 00 ± 1. 17 )%, ( 2. 27 ± 4. 55 )%, ( 96. 24 ± 6. 00 )%, ( 95. 90 ± 4. 32 )%, ( 4. 78 ± 3. 57 )%, ( 60. 59 ± 5. 63 )%, (84. 87 ± 2. 56)%,respectively. The positive expression rates of the three in precancerous group and breast cancer group were significantly higher than those in normal breast group(P<0. 01). The positive expression rates of Wnt1, Wnt5a in precancerous group were higher than those in the tumor group, and the differences of Wnt1 had statistical significance (P<0. 05) while Wnt5a did not (P>0. 05). Compared with breast cancer group, the precancerous group had lower positive expression rate of β-catenin and the differences also had statistical significance ( P <0. 05 ) . Conclusion Wnt1 , Wnt5 a and β-catenin promote the progression of spontaneous breast cancer in TA2 mice.

Excessive and fast rise of medical expenses in China recent years has worsened the financial burden of both the government and individuals alike, making it a hotspot issue countrywide. To alleviate the difficulties of "accessibility to medical services" and "poverty or repoverty resulting from sickness" faced by the Chinese people at large,we built a multi-factor analysis model to identify key factors contributing to such a fast rise of medical expenses based on an analysis of the medical expenses in Shandong Province. In addition,we discussed the causes for GDP and headcount of medical staff in relation to the rise of medical expenses, and the strategies to curb expenses.

In our gastroenterology clinic from Jun. 2008 to Jan. 2009, 20. 9% (277/1320) patients were diagnosed with functional dyspepsia (FD) and 14. 8% (41/277) of them with psychological problems according to Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). In those with psychological disorders,92.7% were found with somatization, 60. 9% with depression and anxiety, 97.6% with abdominal pain,75.6% with bloating, 63.4% with early fullness and 36. 6% with nausea. More than 80% patients with anxiety and depression complained irritability, worry, fatigue, poor concentration, memory loss and insomni.a. After 4 weeks of psychological consultation and anti-depression treatment, 5 patients had significant improvement, 31 had improvement and 3 had no response. The overall response rate was 87. 8%.In summary, there is a high prevalence of depression and anxiety in population with FD. Hypochondria and somatization are common among these patients. Psychological consultation with anxiolytic drugs may have good therapeutic effects.

Objective To establish an HPLC fingerprint ofJinjing solid beverage, and provide experimental evidence of evaluating its quality. Methods Ten batches ofJinjing solid beverage were analyzed by HPLC under the gradient elution condition. A Kromasil C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5μm) was used, and the flow phase was acetonitrile-H2O(acidified to 0.1% with phosphoric acid) with gradient elution, and the detection wavelength was 327 nm, and the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min, and the column temperature was 35℃. The data were evaluated by the similarity evaluation software for TCM fingerprint. Results The HPLC fingerprint ofJinjing solid beverage were established. Twelve common peaks including chlorogenic acid were identified with similarity of more than 0.9.Conclusion HPLC method is a reliable, available and quick method, that provides a means for controlling and evaluating the quality ofJinjing solid beverage.
