Objective To investigate whether the biochemical function and morphology of stored outdated erythrocytes were able to be restored to normal levels.Methods The experiments were carried out with 4 groups of erythrocytes. Group 1 consists of post-rejuvenated erythrocytes, which were harvested by incubating twice washed stored erythrocytes on the 3 rd day after outdate at 37℃ for 1h, with a rejuvenating solution containing adenine 5mmol/L, inosine 100mmol/L, pyruvate 100mmol/L, phosphate 103mmol/L. Group 2 was pre-rejuvenate erythrocytes, obtained by washing stored erythrocytes on the 3rd day after outdate. Group 3 was saline control erythrocytes, which were incubated with 0.9% saline. Group 4 was freshly collected erythrocytes used as normal controls. Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of low level laser irradiation (LLLI) on cerebral infraction combined with hypertension.Methods Two groups were divided, conventional treatment group and laser irradiation combined with conventional treatment group.LLLI (650 nm, 20 mW, 20 min, twice a day, two weeks therapy) was used by extravascular way in addition to conventional treatment, while control group employed conventional treatment only.Whole blood viscosity, plasma blood pressure, lipid and neurological function were assessed by comparing the index of the two groups.Results Whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, whole blood high shear reductive viscosity, hematokit (HTC), erythrocyte deformation index, erythrocyte rigidity index, fibrinogen and blood lipid level of both groups decreased and the decrease of the testing group was more significant than that of control group (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Neurological deficit score an blood pressure of both groups showed significant decrease (P＜0.05), and the decrease in blood pressure of testing group was significant than that of the control group (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusions 650 nm extravascular LLLI may be effective in treatment of cerebral infraction combined with hypertension, and has a good application prospect.

Objective To evaluate the effect of Ji Tang Zhi on glucose metabolism in insulin resistance (IR) HepG 2 cell line,and to explore the related mechanism.Methods The HepG2 cells were incubated in culture medium addition of 10-7 mol/L insulin for 24 h to establish the IR cell model.Effect of Ji Tang Zhi on rate of glucose absorption in HepG2 cell was detected by the method of glucose oxidase-peroxidase (GOD-POD).We performed an MTT assay to determine cytotoxicity effects of Ji Tang Zhi on HepG2 cell line.The expression of p-IRS-1 Ser307,PI3K and GLUT-4 were detected by Western blotting.Results Incubated with 10-7 mol/L insulin for 24 h,the insulin resistance cell model had been built.Compared with model group,the rate of glucose absorption of cell treated with JTZ (30 ～ 120 μg/mL) was significantly improved.According to model cells,the expression of GLUT-4 and PI3K decreased significantly compared to control cells.While the expression of p-IRS-1 Ser 307 was inhibited and GLUT-4 and PI3K expression were increased in IR cells after treated with JTZ (30 ～ 120 μtg/mL).Conclusion JTZ exert beneficial effects on hyperglycosemia in IR cell line possibly through regulating the levels of GLUT-4,p-IRS-1 Ser307 and PI3K in HepG2 cell.

AlM: To explore the effect of Danshen injection iontophoresis combined with lumbrukinase on early patients with retinal vein occlusion ( RVO ) , and observe the prognosis to provide objective basis for clinical?METHODS: Eighty-two patients ( 117 eyes ) with early RVO were randomly selected in our hospital from January, 2011 to April, 2014, 41 cases (59 eyes) of control group treated with Lumbrokinase. Forty-one cases ( 58 eyes) of the observation group, treated with Danshen injection iontophoresis combined with lumbrokinase. The main indexes were the treatment effect, visual acuity and retinal circulation time.?RESULTS: The total effective rate of the observation group was 85. 4% ( 35/41 ), more than that of control group 68. 3% ( 28/41 ), the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The invalid rate of the observation group was 14. 6% (6/41), lower than that of the control group 31. 7% ( 13/41 ), the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The vision of the observation group 4. 8 ~5. 0 was 53. 7% (22/41), more than that of control group 41. 5% ( 17/41 ), the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0. 05 ). The restore vision of the observation group 4. 3 ~ 4. 7 was 31. 7% (13/41), lower than that of the control group 41. 5% ( 17/41 ), the difference was statistically significant ( P<0. 05 ). Objective To assess the role of muhi-detector row CT (MDCT) in preoperative evaluation of living renal donors. Methods The data of 104 potential donors who underwent MDCT were retrospectively analyzed. All the candidates underwent 64-MDCT examination. First,unenhanced scans were performed on the kidneys. After administration of Ⅳ contrast medium,enhanced CT images of the arterial phase, venous phase, and excretory phase were obtained. The enhanced scan scope was from the top of diaphragmatic muscle to pubic symphysis. The scanning data obtained was post-processed for reconstructed images. The anatomy and variations displayed in MDCT images on kidneys, ureters, arteries and veins were recorded. The findings in surgery constituted the standard of reference for imaging findings, and the recorded results from images were compared with the findings in surgery to assess the role of MDCT in evaluation of potential donors. Results MDCT examination was successfully performed on 104 candidates. Anomalies of kidneys and ureters were found in 8 donors before surgery. The prevalence of accessory arteries and early branching in image was 27. 2 % (28/103) and 12. 6 % (13/103) respectively. There were 3 candidates with double veins and 3 with retroaortie left renal vein found in preoperative assessment. Ninety-three candidates underwent successful donor nephreetomy. The anomalies and variations of kidneys and ureters in images were all confirmed surgically. The detection rate of the accessory renal artery (ARA) was 80 %. The ARAs measuring > 1 mm in diameter and early branching were all detected by MDCT.The findings of veins found in performed sides coincided with those of MDCT images. Conclusion MDCT can accurately assess the anatomic information and variations of the donors' kidneys, and facilitate triaging donors and planning operation proposal

Objective To analyze the pitfalls of 18F fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computer tomography (PET-CT) scan in the diagnosis of 60 patients of tuberculosis mimicking malignancy.Methods The study included 60 patients with PET-CT diagnosis of probable malignancy.Fifty patients were proved to be tuberculosis by pathological examinations and 10 were diagnosed by clinical followup.The images of whole body were acquired at 60 min after administration of 222-555 MBq 18F-FDG.The PET-CT imaging characteristics and clinical data,including lesion size,distribution,standardized uptake value (SUV) were retrospectively analyzed.After the whole body scan of PET-CT,each patient had a chest spiral CT scan for detailed observation of lung lesions.Contrast enhanced CT (CECT) was performed in 8 patients.Results (1)Thirty patients were misdiagnosed as lung cancer,14 patients as malignant lymphoma,6 patients as malignant mesothelioma,3 as intestine carcinoma,2 as bone malignancy,1 patient as hepatocarcinoma,spleen malignancy,ovarian cancer,laryngocarcinoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma respectively.(2) 90.9％ (20/22) of patients showed normal level of serum CEA and 100％ (13/13) of patients showed normal level of CA199.Increasing serum CA125 was found in all patients (6/6) with activeTB patients accompanied with ascites,pleural fluid and (or) pericardial effusion.(3) 93.3％ (28/30)active tuberculosis showed accumulated 18F-FDG which was incorrectly interpreted as malignancy.The most common sites of TB lymphadenopathy were bilateral cervical tissues,which was accounted for 85.7％(12/14).CECT revealed characteristics of peripheral enhancement and central necrosis in tubercular lymphadenopathy,which was 87.5％ (7/8).Conclusions The diverse manifestations of TB on imaging and high uptake of 18F-FDG on PET imaging result in misdiagnosis of malignancy.It is important for radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians to identify the common imaging features and patterns of TB to make a correct diagnosis.Integration of reconstruction HR CT,PET-CT and lab examinations may improve the diagnostic accuracy.

Objective To analyze the causes for diffuse bone marrow uptake of 18F-FDG on PET/CT scans. Methods Sixty-six patients with diffuse bone marrow uptake on whole-body FDG-PET/CT imaging were enrolled for this study. Seventy-nine healthy subjects ( with no history of tumor or recent fever) were selected as normal control. The SUVmax and SUVmean were measured in bone marrow and mediastinum in both groups. The maximum (bone marrow SUVmax/ mediastinum SUVmax) and mean value ratios (bone marrow SUVmean/ mediastinum SUVmean) were calculated. Statistical analysis was performed by one-factor variance analysis. Results With diffuse bone marrow uptake pattern of 18F-FDG, 27 were caused by injection of hematopoietic growth factor, 21 by hematopathy and 18 due to fever. SUVmeanof those three causes were 3.076±1.955, 3.633±2.405 and 2.546±0.791 respectively, each was significantly different from that of the control group (1.026±0.190; F =34.465, P<0.001). Conclusion Diffuse bone marrow uptake on FDG-PET/CT are caused by both benign and malignant reasons.

objective To compare cardiac function early after cardiac valve replacement with and without atrial fibrillation radiofrequency ablation(RFA).Methods Thirty-eight patients who underwent RFA Cox-Maze Ⅳ procedure combined with rheumatic valve replacement were discharged as cured from March 2007 to August 2009 (RFA group). Their postoperative recovery time, troponin T (cTnT) and ultrasonic cardiogram data were compared with those of 38 patients with atrial fibrillation matchad for age,sex, preoperative NYHA class and types of rheumatic valve replacement (control group). Results Although the cardiopulmonary bypass time and aortic cross-clamping time of RFA group were longer [( 152.8 ± 46.1 ),(91.0 ± 26.1 ) min] than those of control group [( 104.7 ± 40.8), (68.0 ± 30.3) min] (P ＜ 0.01 ), the postoperative recovery time and perioperative changes of LVEF of both groups were similar. Compared with control group, the RFA group's postoperative elevated cTnT was more marked [( 1.8 ± 0.6) μ g/L vs.(0.8 ±0.4) μg/L],their left atrial diameters was generally decreased (P＜0.05). Among them who underwent combined aortic and mitral valve replacement had increased posterior wall thickness of left ventricle and decreased fractional shortening. Conclusions Compared to patients having simple valve replacement, those undergoing valve replacement with RFA Cox-Maze Ⅳ procedure have generally better recovery of cardiac function early after operation, may have more potential threaten, and more attention should be paied to their perioperative myocardial preservation and preventive maintenance of cardiac function.

Objective To discuss the timing of extubation in patients of congenital heart disease (CHD)with severe pulmonary hypertension (PH) undergoing connective surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).Methods A retrospective study of 40 patients of CHD with severe PH Was completed.According to whether the duration of mechanical ventilation (MV)>24 hours,patients were divided into two groups,early extubafion group(19 patients) and late extubation group(21 patients).Perioperative variables that might influence duration of MV were compared between the two groups.Multivariate statistical analysis with Logistic regression was used for these patients to analyze the perioperative variables to determine risk factors for prolonged MV (MV≥72 hours).Results Between the two groups,preoperative NYHA class,Pp/Ps at the time of coming off bypass,CPB duration,and CPB temperature were significantly different (P<0.05 or<0.01).Anofic spell (OR=0.022,95%CI0.001-0.580)and severe hypoxemia(OR=0.031,95%CI0.002-0.568)in the early postoperative period were the risk factors for prolonged MV.Conclusions The timing of extubation in these patients should be determined individually.Late extubation may fit those with advanced NYHA class,high Pp/Ps at the time of coming off bypass,prolonged CPB duration,or hypothermic cardiography and pulmonary artery catheter monitoring help to guide treatment for pwlonged MV.For else patients who with postoperative stable cardiopulmonary function,early extubation maybe feasible.

mal saline,Ento-Ⅰplastic of 3 doses(6.67,3.33,1.67 mg/kg),and ozagrel sodium(8.3 mg/kg,ip). The effect of Ento-Ⅰplastic on anti-cerebral ischemia was measured by nervous function scores and the areas of cerebral infarction were determined by TTC staining for the calculation of cerebral infarction rates. The analgesic effect of Ento-Ⅰplastic was determined with acetic acid-induced twisting experiment. Sixty KM mice were randomly allocated into blank-matrix,aspirin,aspirin-plastic,and Ento-Ⅰplastic of 3 doses(5,10 and 20 mg/kg),the number of mouse twisting were recorded right after intraperitoneal injection of 0.7%acetic acid solution at the time of 1 h after the last administration. Moreover,the anticoagulant activity of Ento-Ⅰplastic was tested by glass capillary method. Re?sults The results of acetic acid-induced twisting experiment displayed that Ento-Ⅰplastic of all 3 dose groups(5,10 and 20 mg/kg) could significantly reduce the number of body torsion and increase the inhibitory rates of twisting,compared with that of blank matrix group(the inhibitory rates of twisting for 3 dose groups were 21.79%,48.89%,and 56.15%,respectively),with dose-response man?ner. According to the results of glass capillary test,the clotting time of mouse blood could be significantly prolonged by mid-(10 mg/kg)and low-dose(5 mg/kg)of Ento-Ⅰplastic with corresponding clotting time of(155.20±54.19)s and(155.80±73.84)s,compared with normal saline group at(92.10 ± 24.61)and blank-matrix group at(80.40 ± 48.09,P<0.05). The experiment results of the isch?emia-reperfusion injury by line embolism method in rats exhibited that Ento-Ⅰplastic in mid-dose(3.33 mg/kg)could significantly re?duce the neurological scores after 24 h of reperfusion injury,from(2.33 ± 0.52)of normal saline group to(1.00 ± 0.00)of mid-dose group(P<0.01). The results from TTC staining revealed that the cerebral infarction rates of normal saline group and blank-matrix group were(24.89±7.24)%and(27.72±7.89)%,respectively,whereas those of 6.67 mg/kg and 3.33 mg/kg group of Ento-Ⅰplastic were(14.01±2.65)%and(14.73±4.94)%,respectively. Compared to the 2 negative-control groups,both the high-and mid-dose of Ento-Ⅰplastic could significantly reduce the cerebral infarction rates after ischemic reperfusion injury in rats (P<0.01). Conclu?sion Ento-Ⅰplastic demonstrates strong analgesic and anticoagulant effects,and could substantially reduce the neurological scores and reduce cerebral infarction rates for ischemia-reperfusion injured rats. These are likely to be the mechanism of action for Ento-Ⅰplastic realizing its anti-cerebral ischemia effect.
