OBJECTIVETo investigate the polymorphism of DXYS267 locus in China Han population and find the application and characters of its Y-specific single nucleotide substitutions.
METHODSThe locus was analyzed by PCR and PAGE in silver-staining. The Y-specific STR was amplified with newly designed primers according to the Y-specific single nucleotide substitutions.
RESULTSSix alleles were detected in Han population in Wuhan. Exact tests demonstrated that genotype frequencies did not deviate from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. Heterozygosity of DXYS267 was 0.6706, discrimination power (DP) was 0.8433, and the probability of paternity exclusion (PE) was 0.5957. The Y-specific STR of DXYS267 was successfully amplified with the new primer. The 4 alleles for Y-STR were detected with haplotype diversity (HD) 0.6372.
CONCLUSIONThe DXYS267 locus is appropriate for individual identification and paternity testing. The new primer is useful for individual and paternity testing involving brothers and mixed stains.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of adenosine A2A receptor knockout (A(2A)RKO) on relationship between continuous activation of phospho-c-Jun N-terminal kinase (P-JNK) and expression of nerve cell apoptosis in hippocampus CA1 domain of newborn mice after hypoxia/ischemia brain damage(HIBD) and its potential mechanism.
METHODSA(2A)RKO mice and adenosine A2A receptor wildtype (A(2A)RWT) littermates (n = 80) were divided into Sham operation group (S) and model group (M), 1, 3 and 7 day after HIBD, totally 8 groups. HIBD was developed with 7 day-old neonatal mice according classical Rice-Vannucci method. It was tested the effect of A(2A)RKO on short-term neurofunctional outcomes consisted of three developmental reflexes (righting, geotaxis and cliff aversion), the changes of brain pathology with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and Nissl staining, the expressions of nerve cell apoptosis with terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP-biotin nick-end labeling(TUNEL) staining and P-JNK were observed by immunohistochemistry.
RESULTSThe neurological behavior injuries and brain histopathological damages and nerve apoptosis cells were aggravated in A(2A)RKO newborn mice after HIBD. The positive expressions of P-JNK were significantly higher in the ischemic hippocampus CA1 domain after HIBD than ones in group S respectively (P < 0.01), reaching to peak at 1 day and then began gradually decreasing. P-JNK expression in model knockout(MKO) at 1, 3 and 7 day increased greatly compared to those in the previous time point of corresponding model wildtype (MWT) (P < 0.01, P < 0.05, P > 0.05); there was a positive correlation between the expressions of P-JNK and nerve cell apoptosis after HIBD in newborn mice(r = 0.837, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONEarly continuous activation of P-JNK might be involved in the aggravated nerve apoptosis cells and brain damage induced by A(2A) RKO newborn mice after HIBD.

Objective To study the effect and prognosis of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) for pa- tients with coronary artery disease(CAD).Methods Selected coronary angiography was performed in 31 patients with CAD.PTCA and stent implantation were performed in the patients of coronary stenosis(≥75 % in diameter). The effect and prngnosis of coronary interventionary therapy in patients were observed. Results The results of coro- nary angiongraphy suggested there were 18 patiens of coronary stenosis(≥75 % in diameter),PTCA and stent im- plantation were performed in 13 patients.Symptom was relieved greatly after the operation. There were 2 patients of coronary stenosis again, and 5 patients died. Conclusion Selected coronary angiography was an effective way to di- agnose CHD.The coronery interventioned therapy was not only effective in relieving symptom, but also in improving the quality of life of patients with CAD.

Objective To explore the risk factors of cardiovascular disease in adolescents with a family history of hypertension. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in 3874 adolescents ages 13-18 years, with normal BP in 3724 people.Based on family history of hypertension (FH),the cohort of adolescents were dichoto- mized as postive family history (FH~+,n=1145) and negative (FH~-,n=2579).Height,weight,waist circum- ference, hip circumference, blood pressure and fasting plasma glucose(FPG),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride (TG) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) were determined. Results FH~+ adolescents had signifi- cantly higher levels of body mass index(BMI),waist circumference,WHR,FPG,TC and LDL-C(P

OBJECTIVETo investigate clinical effects of coracohumeral ligament reconstruction with autologous double-strand of long palmaris longus tendon and artificial ligament for the treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation.
METHODSFrom April 2006 to June 2009, 31 patients with acromioclavicular joint dislocation were treated with coracohumeral ligament reconstruction using autologous double-strand palmaris longus tendon and artificial ligament. There were 18 males and 13 females, ranging in age from 18 to 60 years, with an average of 35 years. Twenty-six patients were acute trauma and other 5 patients were chronic trauma. Preoperative symptoms included different degrees of pain, restricted movement, and instability of acromioclaviecular joint. The X-ray showed acromioclavicular joint dislocation.
RESULTSThe patients had good incision union without vascular and nerve injuries. All the patients were followed up, and the average duration was 23 months. The JOA scores decreased from preoperative (38.8 +/- 1.5) to (73.2 +/- 1.1) at 1 month after operation, and (93.5 +/- 0.8)at the last follow-up. Twenty-eight patients got an excellent result, 2 good and 1 fair.
CONCLUSIONThe reconstruction of coracohumeral ligament using autologous double-strand palmaris longus tendon and artificial ligament is an effective method for the treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation.

Objective To understand the awareness status of diabetic nephropathy( DN)and its influence factors among diabetes patients. Methods A total of 1236 cases of diabetes were investigated on the awareness of DN and Logistic regression was used to analyze its influence factors. Results The awareness rate of DN was 77. 67% and its influence factors were age, education level, monthly household income and available diabetic health education( OR=1. 15,1. 80, 1. 41and 0. 98 respectively, all P< 0. 05). Moreover, the awareness status of DN prevention was at a low level. Among the 9 methods to prevent DN,only had 4 methods the awareness rate of which was over 80%. Conclusion Health education on DN control and prevention among diabetes patients should be emphasized.
