Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2001;0(01):-
[Objective] To establish a method for the determination of geniposide in Jinzhi Jieyin Gargle by RP- HPLC. [ Methods ] SupelcosilTM LC - 18 (150 mm ?4.6 mm, 5?m) was used as the analytical column, methanol - water -phosphoric acid (25∶75∶0.12 ) as mobile phase and the detection wave - length at 240 run. [Results] Within the range of 0.175-1.84?g, geniposide showed a good linearity ( r = 0.9999 ). The average recovery was 99.93%(n=5, RSD = 1.16%). [Conclusion] This method can be used for the quality control of Jinzhi Jieyin Gargle.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore resting state network in patients with hepatic cirrhosis using functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI).Methods 14 patients with hepatic cirrhosis and 14 healthy volunteers were included in this study.Modified Stroop task in Chinese character was used as target stimulus,block-design fMRI was used to acquire resource data.Group analysis(control epoch minus task epoch) was performed for both tasks in both groups. Results Comparing with controls, the patients with hepatic cirrhosis had abnormal deactivation mode. The absence of posterior cingulate cortex(PCC) and precuneus was present when performing incongruous word-reading task, deactivation of PCC,precuneus, and ventral medial prefrontal cortex were increased when performing incongruous color-naming task. Conclusion Cirrhosis patients have abnormal deactivation mode, the absence of PCC and precuneus is a sensitive not specific biomarker in detecting the brain changes of the patients with hepatic cirrhosis.

Objective To investigate the relationship between blood lipids levels and leukoaraiosis (LA). Methods 322 cases were designed into non-LA group (n=141) and LA group (n=181) according to MRI. LA group was further designed into mild (Fazekas Ⅰ, n=57),moderate (Fazekas Ⅱ, n=52), and severe (Fazekas Ⅲ, n=72) groups according to Fazekas classification. Their blood lipids levels were compared. Results The level of total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) increased (P<0.05) with the level of LA,while the level of triglycerides (TG) increased in all the LA groups (P<0.05), but no significant difference among them (P>0.05). There was no significant difference among all the groups in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) (P>0.05). Conclusion TC, TG, and LDL-Cincrease in those with LA, and the TC and LDL-C increase with the severity of LA. The HDL-C do not relate with LA.

Objective To investigate the value of plasma H-FABP level and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation(APACHE Ⅱ) in severity and prognosis estimation for patients with acute pumonary embolism(APE).Methods Totally 160 APE patients were hospitalized from January 2010 to January 2015 and enrolled in this study.According to the severity of the disease, these patients with APE were divided into low-risk group,moderate-risk group and high-risk group.According to clinical prognosis, these patients with APE were divided into survival groups and death groups.Plasma levels of H-FABP were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and APACHE Ⅱ score were analyzed. The differences of Plasma H-FABP levels and APACHE Ⅱ score were compared and which the relationship with severity and the prognosis of APE were also assessed. Results With the increased severity in patients, the H-FABP and APACHE Ⅱ score were significantly increased (P < 0.05);the H-FABP and APACHE Ⅱ score were significantly higher in death group as compared with survival group(P <0.05).The H-FABP levels and APACHE Ⅱ score were positive correlated(r =0.71,P =0.000).ROC curves analysis results showed that the area under curve of H-FABP was 0.854 (95 % CI:0.784-0.927),and optimal operating point (OOP)was 13.3 μg/L,which had 81.0% sensiticity and 79.4% specificity;ACU of APACHE Ⅱ was 0.861 (95% CI:0.812-0.932),and OOP was 19.2,which had 77.8% sensiticity and 80.4% specificity. The AUC was 0.914 (95% CI:0.825-0.948),and the sensitivity was 88.9%,specificity was 87.6% when the two cutoff values were both achieved, which were higher than the single H-FABP and APACHE Ⅱ score. Conclusion The H-FABP and APACHE Ⅱ score can effectively assess severity and prognosis of APE patients, meanwhile,it provide an objective basis for the clinical individual treatment and reducing the mortality rate of APE patients.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of different administration of dexamethasone in the treatment of se-cretory otitis media. METHODS:Data of 92 patients with secretory otitis media was retrospectively collected and divided into ob-servation group(43 cases)and control group(49 cases)by different administration. Observation group received 5 mg Dexametha-sone injection by injection in the eustachian tube in the assisted by video laryngoscope, once every 2 day. Control group received 5 mg Dexamethasone injection by injection in the eustachian tube, once every 2 day. 7-day was regarded as 1 treatment course. 1 more course for uncured patients, and no more than 4 courses. Clinical efficacy, and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),IL-10 levels before and after treatment, and 1-year cumulative recurrence rate after cured and the incidence of adverse reactions in 2 groups were observed. RESULTS:The total effective rate in observation group was signifi-cantly higher than control group,1-year cumulative recurrence rate after cured was significantly lower than control group, the dif-ferences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in TNF-α,CRP,IL-6 and IL-10 levels between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment,TNF-α and IL-6 level in 2 groups were significantly lower than before, and observation group was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no signifi-cant differences in CRP and IL-10 between 2 groups before and after treatment(P>0.05). And there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy of dexamethasone by injection in the eustachian tube in the assisted by electron-nasopharyngolaryngoscopy is superior to auripuncture administration,it can reduce re-currence rate, with good safety.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(37):6652-6656
BACKGROUND:Ful-thickness articular cartilage injury is notoriously difficult to be treated in the fields of orthopedics and sports medicine. Al ogeneic bone and cartilage transplantation can offer a transparent cartilage with biological activity and biomechanical properties to repair ful-thickness articular cartilage defects. Al ogeneic osteochondral grafts from osteochondral tissue bank are adequate, and have a good prospect in the treatment of articular cartilage defects.
OBJECTIVE:To summarize the drawn materials, preservation, quality control and clinical monitoring of al ogeneic osteochondral grafts supported by the osteochondral tissue bank.
METHODS:The first author searched PubMed and CNKI for the relevant articles published before 2013 using the key words of“tissue bank, knee, articular cartilage, preservation, transplantation”in English and Chinese, respectively. After retrieval, we summarized the drawn materials, preservation, quality control and clinical monitoring of al ogeneic osteochondral grafts supported by the osteochondral tissue bank.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Nineteen of 194 retrieved articles were enrol ed according to inclusive and exclusive criteria. The results show that al ogeneic bone and cartilage transplantation is an ef ective method for the treatment of articular cartilage defects, and the establishment of the osteochondral tissue bank can provide safe and active tissues for the treatment of articular cartilage defects. Now, the osteochondral tissue bank is stil in the initial stage.
