OBJECTIVE To understand the relationship between the detection rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Children′s Hospital wards from Jan 2008 to Sep 2008 and disinfection and isolation in the department and investigate the change in antimierobial resistance of P.aeruginosa to provide basis for reasonable use of antibiotics in clinical practice.METHODS The clinically isolated P.aeruginosa strains were collected,cultured and identified by paper diffusing method.The results were evaluated according to the relevant documents of NCCLS of USA.RESULTS The resistant rates of P.aeruginosa to Ampicillin,Ampicillin/Sulbactam,ceftriaxone,cefazolin and SMI were higher than 98%.Their resistant rate to Levofloxacin and IMP was the lowest(about 2% or so).CONCLUSIONS Effective disinfection and isolation of P.aeruginosa should be performed.Selection of antimicrobial drugs should be according to the results of drug susceptibility,reduce the rate of bacterial resistance.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effcacy of the modiifed anterolateral minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis technique for distal humeral shaft fracture, and to explore its feasibility, security, advantage and disadvantage. Methods: hTe clinical effcacy of 17 patients with distal humeral shatf fracture, who were treated with the anterolateral humerus minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis during 2009 to 2012, were retrospectively analyzed. hTe operative time, bleeding volume, complications, esseous union time and range of motion (ROM) of elbow were recorded, and the functional outcome of elbow joint was evaluated by Mayo elbow performance score (MEPs). The varus angle was measured in the malunion patients atfer the distal humeral shatf fracture healed. Results: All of the 17 patients obtained bony union at an average of 19.2 weeks postoperatively, an average of 4.5 screwes were inserted in distal humerus. hTe mean ROM of elbows was 133° and the MEPS were 98.2. Seven patients suffered humeral malalignment and the mean varus degrees were 8.3°. Conclusion: hTe technique of anterolateral humerus minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis is safe and feasible for distal humeral shatf, and the satisfactory clinical outcomes can be obtained by this modiifed technique. However, some of the patients may appear malunion with varus angulation of humerus.

Objective To study on the relationship between plasminogen and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),and explain the molecular mechanism of depression ,then provide new clew for diagnosis and treatment of depression .Methods The chronic unpredictable mild depression rat mode was established ,then depression symptoms including absence of delight ,the decline of actions and activities ,and weight reduction of rat were tested .The levels of individual plasminogen and BDNF in hippocampus were determined by Western blot .Results The expression of BDNF and plasminogen in depression rat mode and control group was significantly different(P<0 .01) ,and there was a positive correlation between BDNF and plasminogen(r=0 .65 ,P<0 .01) .Accord-ing to the linear-regression analysis ,there was a dependence relationship between them(r2 =0 .423) .The equation of regression was YBDNF=0 .750XPlasminogen +0 .201 .Conclusion Stress could affect the growth and survival of nerve cell ,which lead to the depression behavior of rats ,meanwhile ,the decline of plasminogen and BDNF levels ,the positive correlation between them illustrate that plas-minogen and BDNF take part in the mechanism of depression .

To explore new agents of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) derivatives with more potent antiepileptic activity, a series of 4-(2-acetoxybenzoylamino) butyramide derivatives were designed and synthesized. All of the novel compounds (5a-51) were synthesized from GABA as starting material, and their structures were confirmed with IR, 1H NMR, EI-MS and elemental analysis. Preliminary pharmacological test in vitro showed that all target compounds displayed strong antiepileptic activities and were worth for further study. The structure-activity relationship of 4-(2-acetoxybenzoylamino) butyramide derivatives was also discussed preliminarily.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate teacher-dominant action and focus on learning-oriented group.Medical teachers should pay more attention to three important aspects,such as optimizing teaching pattern,dealing with the relationship carefully among pre-class,inter-class and post-class.It is important to attach importance to pre-class,giving prominence to inter-class and also giving attention to post-class,which can form a harmonious,interactive and collaborate class.In addition,it stimulates deep processing interactions between teachers and students by increasing students learning interests,which is very helpful in improving teaching effects of medical image.

Objective:To detect mutations of exons 5 and exons 8 of PTEN gene in oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC),and to explore the relationship between gene mutations and development of OSCC.Methods: Mutations of exons 5 and exons 8 of PTEN gene were detected by polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism(PCR-SSCP).Results: The whole sequences of exons 5 and exons 8 of PTEN gene of all cases of OSCC were expanded.There was no mutation in exons 5 and exons 8 of PTEN gene of all cases of OSCC.Conclusion: There is no mutation in exon 5 and exon 8 of PTEN gene in OSCC.This might show that there is no correlation between mutations in exon 5 and exon 8 of PTEN gene and the development of OSCC.

Objective: To obtain the optimum cultivation period and best harvesting month of P. polyphylla var. chinensis by studying on change regularity of biomass accumulation rate and steroid saponins from P. polyphylla var. chinensis with the changes of its harvesting time and medicinal parts. Methods: A high performance liquid chromatography-evaporative light-scattering detector (HPLC-ELSD) method was established to characterize content of six steroid saponins (Paris saponins I, II, VI, VII, V, and H) from P. polyphylla var. chinensis and its dynamic change regularity was detected; Drying rate was measured by oven-dry method to indicate biomass accumulation rate. Results: Drying rate increased with the planting ages and reached the highest level in the eighth year. There was a waving trend between drying rate and harvesting time and drying rate reached crest in January and June; The main steroid saponins of P. polyphylla var. chinensis were Paris saponin VII and Paris saponin H. The content of total saponins varied by `V' shaped with the increases of planting-year and reached the highest in the second and eighth year, and it changed by waving shape with the change of harvesting month and reached the crest in March and November; There was a distinct difference of total saponins among different parts of P. polyphylla var. chinensis: stems and leaves > rhizome-forepart > rhizome-middle-part ≈ rhizome-end-part. The distribution of paris saponins VII decreased obviously from stems to rhizome-end-part while paris saponins H increased gradually. Conclusion: There were remarkable correlations among steroid saponins accumulation amounts and planting ages, harvesting month, and medicinal parts. The optimum cultivation period is eight years and best harvesting month is in November; The quality of medicinal materials would decline if only rhizome-end-part to be used; Paris saponin VII maybe a relative factor for germination and growth of P. polyphylla var. chinensis; Stems of P. polyphylla var. chinensis can be an important resource to extract steroid saponins, which have a profound significance to broaden resources of medicinal plants and improve resources utilization efficiency.

ObjectiveTo discuss the experimental method and the mechanisms on treating diseases by acupuncturing the ST36(Zusanli).MethodsUsing Positron Emission Tomography(PET) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging(fMRI) to obtain the experimental data about glycometabolism and cerebral blood stream,using SPM and ROI image-analytical method to obtain the visual experimental evidence when acupuncturing the ST36. ResultsThere are certain increases of glycometabolism and cerebral blood stream in ipsilateral hypothalamus and bilateral temporal lobe, when acupuncturing the ST36. Conclusions Acupuncturing the ST36 can lead to the functional changes in vegetative nerve center and temporal lobe, which is close correlated with the therapeutical effects of ST36.

OBJECTIVETo search all studies that had been published in the world with regarding to the effectiveness of the extent of intralesional curettage and wide excision for recurrence rate and complications and comparative functional outcomes in patients with giant cell tumours (GCT) of the distal radius and analyze them which were in high quality by means of Meta analysis, in order to give some evidences for the choice of method dealing with giant cell tumors GCT in surgery.

METHODSCochrane central register of controlled trials(Issue 8 2014), PubMed(1970-01-01/2013-01-01), Ovid (1970-01-01/2013- 01-01), Elsevier (1970-01-01/2013-01-01), CNKI (1970-01-01/2013-01-01) were searched. Including intralesional curettage and wide excision were performed to treat giant cell tumors (GCTs) of the distal radius in the literatures, selecting on meet eligibility in the standard literatures underwent strict quality assessment. The Meta-analysis was performed with software RevMan5.0 from the Cochrane collaboration. Additionally, the analysis checked the heterogeneity of data. The effectiveness of the extent of intralesional curettage and wide excision for recurrence rate and complication in patients with giant cell tumours of the distal radius were evaluated and Odds Ratio was calculated.

RESULTSSeven relevant articles were identified involving total 163 cases. Among them, 92 cases were intralesional curettage (PMMA, n = 54; bone graft, n = 33; no PMMA or bone grafts, n = 5) and 71 cases were wide excision. The patients in the intralesional curettage group had a higher recurrence rate [OR = 3.87, 95% CI (1.42, 10.53)],especially for Campanacci grade 3 GCTs [OR = 10.12, 95% CI (1.57, 65.27)], yet fewer major complications [OR = 0.13, 95% CI (0.04, 0.40)] than the wide excision group. The use of PMMA versus bone graft did not affect the recur- rence rate [OR = 0.96, 95% CI (0.26, 3.56)]. By selecting the system evaluation of MSTS, the VAS and dynamometer, the result showed that the intralesional curettage group was equivalent or preferable to wide excision in terms of function rehabilitation.

CONCLUSIONBased on data obtained from the limited number of studies available, intralesional curettage appears to be moreappropriate for the treatment of local lesions (Grade 1 and 2) than Grade 3 GCTs of the distal radius. Moreover, PMMA was not additionally effective as an adjuvant, the intralesional curettage group was found to be equivalent or preferable to wide excision in terms of function rehabilitation.

Objective:To investigate cytokine(TNF-?,IL-1) effect on apoptosis and express of related protein in thyrocytes and the relationship with pathogenesis in Graves' disease(GD).Methods:To test thyroid tissues from 50 patients with GD Fas expression by immunohistochemical method.Thyroid tissues were collected from samples of GD operation and were cultured by primary culture method.Content of sFas in culture medium was tested by ELISA.Fas/sFas mRNA were tested by RT-PCR.Cytokine inducing apoptosis in Graves' disease showes observation group,normal people showes control group.Results:Compare apoptosis culture rate there is significant difference(P
