Objective To determine the serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and their clinical significances. Methods The serum concentrations of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were measured by ELISA in 46 patients with SLE and age- and sex-matched normal controls. Results ①Serum levels of MMP-9 was significantly decreased in patients with SLE compared with those in normal controls (P

2 cm) according to the size of lesions. Large wound sections were sutured with metal clips. Results Histopathologic investigation showed that among 54 lesions, there were 13 cases of adenoma,38 cases of adenoma with atypical hyperplasia (10 cases with mild dysplasia,23 with moderate dysplasia and 5 with severe dysplasia )and 3 cases of mucosal cancer. We followed forty cases, local recurrence was found in none of 29 cases after 6 months of EMR. However, the recurrence was found in 2 of 11 cases after 1 month of EPMR and 1 each after 3 and 6 month of EPMR. There was no recurrence after further endoscopic re-treatment. Among 3 cancer patients,2 patients shifted to surgery due to patient's preference and 1 patient was followed up for 6 months. All of them were found without local recurrence by endoscopic biopsies or surgical results. Conclusions Chromoscopy, magnifying colonoscopy and EUS have benefits in diagnosis of early large bowel tumors, and it is also helpful in selecting the proper treatment so as to reduce the complication and recurrence.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(5):583-586
The content of ATP, ADP, AMP, sodium phosphate and sodium pyrophosphate were determined by 31P NMR, the linear range of ATP, ADP and AMP were found to be 0.004-0.080 mol x L(-1), sodium phosphate and sodium pyrophosphate were 0.005-0.100 mol x L(-1). The RSD were 0.40%-1.30%, the recovery were 96.9% - 105.2%. The method has been applied to the determination of ATP injection. The impurities of ATP injection were ADP and sodium phosphate. The content of ATP is in line with the requirement of the pharmacopoeia. The results indicated that the method is of good reproducibility, high accuracy, rapid and simple operation, without pretreatment and interference of other elements, 31P NMR is a new and reliable method of analyzing ATP, ADP, AMP and phosphate.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2009;25(6):791-793
Objective; To evaluate the effects of gingival shade guide in visual shade-matching in vitro models. Methods; 42 tabs of Shofu NCC shade guide were adopted for color measuring. Each tab was fixed in the middle of Gingiva-Indicator, Guray(1,2,3,4) respectively and located in a black box. The measurements were made using the Shadepilot instrument. The color parameters ( CIE1976L * a * b * ) of cervical, body, incisal area of each tab were recorded. The color difference A E value in the same position of each tab was calculated between non-gingival shade guide group and Gumyl ,2,3,4 groups with Shadepilot software. Results; The AE value in the same position of 42 tabs between non-gingival shade guide group and 4 gingival shade guide groups were; cervical (2.93±0.79)NBS,body(0.51±0.27)NBS and incisal(0.61 ±0.29)NBS. In the cervical, body and incisal area, there was no statistically difference among Gumyl ,2,3,4 groups on affecting shade of tabs(P >0. 05). Conclusion; The gingival color has an effect on the cervical shade of tabs, and it can be recognized by human eyes, while gingival color has little effect on the shade of body and incisal area.

BACKGROUND: Inhaled glucocorticoids(IGC) are powerful anti_inflammatory agents used in the treatment of asthma. But it is still uncertain whether long-term use of the IGC affects bone metabolism in asthmatic patients, especially women.OBJECTIVE: To investigate if the prolonged treatment with IGC to Chinese asthmatic woman has a detrimental effect on bone mass and metabolism.DESIGN: A matched controlled study based on the patients SETTING:Clinical Laboratory and the Department of Respiratory Medicine, First Affiliated Hospital, Nanjing Medical University.PARTICIPANTS: From February 1998 to February 2002, forty female Chinese patients with bronchial asthma, regularly followed up at our outpatient clinic, all in the Nanjing area, none of them having a history of chronic systemic GC use, agreed to take part in the study, were selected and divided into two groups: therapeutic group (IGC group): 20 asthmatic women, aged 18-63 years, 5 menopausals, received IGC therapy regularly for at least 5 months; Control group: 20 asthmatic women, aged 18-60 years, 5 menopausals, never received IGC received conventional bronchodilators . They were matched individually for sex, age and menopausal status.METHODS: Bone mineral density (BMD) at the lumbar spine (2-4),femoral neck, trochanter, ward's triangle and total body of femur were measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry, BMD were expressed as a absolute value and a T score considered as a SD from peak bone mass respectively. Meanwhile, BMD was also expressed as a percentage (%), which was defined by comparing the BMD absolute value of subjects and BMD normal value of isosexual age cohorts. Osteocalcin and some other markers of bone metabolism were measured by radio immunoassay in two groups.daily dose and accumulative total dose of IGC and BMD in the IGC group.RESULTS: There were no significant difference between two groups in BMD and T score (including the lumbar spine (2-4), femoral neck, trochanter, ward' s triangle and total body of femur) (P > 0.05). There were also no significant correlation between daily dose of IGC and BMD of above 5 parts in the IGC group (r=-0.325 to -0.1102, P > 0.05). But,there were significantly negative correlation between the accumulative total dose of IGC and BMD at lumbar spine2-4,femoral neck and ward's triangle(r=-0.495 ,-0.517,-0.531 ,P < 0.05).There were no significant correlation between the accumulative total dose of IGC and T score of above 5 parts in the IGC group (r=0.443to 0.295 ,P > 0.05). There was negative correlation between the age and the BMD at ward's triangle in the IGC group(r=-0.506,P < 0.05). However ,BMD at 5 locus were not correlated with the age in control group (r=-0.079 to 0.326, P > 0.05).Osteocalcin and some other markers of bone metabolism were no significant difference between two groups (P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: The data suggests that there is no significant influence of IGC on bone mineral density and bone metabolism in asthmatic women, but if continuing exposures to high doses over many years, there may be a detrimental effect on bone mass and metabolism in women, especially elder or postmenopausal asthmatic women treated with IGC who may be more susceptible to any bone mineral loss caused by IGC.

Objective To establish the training objective systems for undergraduates in mili-tary clinical medicine in order to promote the educational reform of military medicine, and to improve the quality of talents training in military medical universities. Methods Literature analysis was made to determine the initial military clinical medical undergraduate training objectives, and a questionnaire was given to experts, on-the-job military doctors, medical graduates to know the real requirements of military doctors' position. A total of 455 valid questionnaires were collected. Then the questionnaire results were discussed and summarized by the method of expert discussion. Finally,. Delphi method was used to determine the ultimate training objective system. Results The ultimate training objective system of military undergraduate clinical medicine contains two aspects, eight fields and sixty-one standards objective systems. Conclusion Organically fusing military medical knowledge, ability and professional quality requirement into two levels and eight modules and clearly understanding the standards and requirements of each module are significantly systematic, advanced and operable, which has important reference value and guiding significance to both the military medical colleges and uni-versities and the local universities.
