Clinical Medicine of China 2016;32(8):687-690
Objective To investigate the relationship between with or without non?alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) and diabetic retinopathy(DR) in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)?Methods Clinical and laboratorial data of 517 cases T2DM hospitalized patients were collected, and the patients were divided into two groups according to if the NAFLD was complicated or not?Group A was T2DM with NAFLD and group B was T2DM without NAFLD?The general information and the laboratorial checking results were Compared, then various index were used as the independent variable, DR was used as the dependent variable for Logistic regression analysis? Results (1)In the 517 cases of T2DM patients, the incorporative rate of the NAFLD was 65?7%(349/517)?(2)Compared with group B,the levels of body mass index(BMI),insulin resistance index (HOMA?IR),glutamyltransferase(GGT),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST), triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low?density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL?C) and uric acid(UA) for group A were significantly increased, while the high?density lipoprotein cholesterol ( HDL?C ) level was significantly decreased? All the differences were statistically significant( P<0?05)?( 3) Logistic analysis showed that the duration of the extension, hypertension, the increasing level of NAFLD,LDL?C were the risk factors of DR?Even though excluded the influence of duration, high blood pressure and LDL?C level,NAFLD was still the risk factor for T2DM complicated by the DR( OR=2?176,95% CI ( 1?354,3?199) )?Conclusion NAFLD and DR are closely related, so early diagnosis and intervention of NAFLD may prevent the occurrence and development of DR.

Objective To evaluate the left ventricular and right ventricular systolic function by two‐dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography ( 2D‐STE) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis ( RA ) . Methods Fifty five patients with RA and 50 healthy subjects were received echocardiography . 2D‐STE were applied for all the subjects to obtain left ventricular global longitudinal strain ( LVGLS) and right ventricular global longitudinal strain ( RVGLS) .Tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion ( TAPSE) and the change ratio of right ventricular area ( RVACR) were measured by echocardiography . The anti‐cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies ( anti‐CCP‐II) ,rheumatoid factor ( RF) ,C‐reactive protein ( CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate ( ESR) were detected in both group . The LVGLS and RVGLS in RA group were used to conduce correlation analysis with the level of anti‐CCP‐II ,RF ,CRP , ESR and the duration of disease . Results There was a significant decrease in RVGLS and LVGLS in RA group compared with control group( P <0 .05) . However there was no statistical differenc in TAPSE and RVACR between RA and control group( P > 0 .05) . The anti‐CCP‐II ,RF ,CRP and ESR in RA group increased significantly compared with control group ( P < 0 .001 ) . The result of correlation analysis showed there was no correlation between RVGLS ,LVGLS and anti‐CCP‐II ,RF ,CRP ,ESR in RA group . However ,RVGLS and LVGLS were negatively correlated with the duration of disease . Conclusions LVGLS and RVGLS in RA patients were lower than those in healthy people ,strain decreases with the extension of disease duration ,2D‐STE may be an efficacious assessment to assess left ventricular and right ventricular systolic function in patients w ith RA .

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2018;41(5):390-394
Objective To study the application of laser speckle contrast algorithm in high-frequency ultrasound blood flow imaging. Methods The laser speckle contrast algorithm was extended to the field of high-frequency ultrasound blood flow imaging. The high-frequency ultrasound structure images were processed by using the classic laser speckle temporal contrast algorithm to suppress the static tissue signals, enhance the dynamic blood flow signals, and obtain the high-frequency ultrasound blood flow images. The simulation experiments on flow phantoms were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm, and then human skin tissue in vivo experiments were performed to verify the applicability of the algorithm. The performances of blood flow images which obtained from ultrasound structure images with different frames by laser speckle contrast algorithm were compared and analyzed. Results The blood flow information in a tube was clearly visible in the flow phantoms experiments. The static skin tissue signals were significantly suppressed, dynamic blood flow signals were strengthened in the human skin tissue in vivo experiments, and high-frequency ultrasound blood flow images were obtained. By comparing and analyzing the performances of blood flow images, the results showed that the best blood flow images could be obtained when the number of frame was set to 10 frames. Conclusions The speckle contrast algorithm is feasible and has good application prospects in high-frequency ultrasound blood flow imaging.

The understanding of heart embryonic development and structure can contribute to improve our leaning of the etiology, pathophysiology and classification of congenital heart disease in humans, which has become the focus of echocardiography teaching. Meanwhile the difficulties and problems formed because of its diverse and fragmented theoretical knowledge. "Hand as foot" teaching method is a kind of teaching method using intuitive body language combined with the thought of analogy, so as to make teaching content relatively simplistic and figurative. Our study has demonstrated this method can be used in a constructive way to improve course content and delivery for echocardiography teaching to assess patent foramen ovale for standardized residency training of cardiac ultrasound, and achieved a good teaching effect. The specific implementation approaches and effect of this method are described in detail. This paper also explores the potential feasibility and benefits of the application of using "Hand as foot" teaching method in echocardiography teaching.

China Pharmacy 2024;35(20):2527-2532
OBJECTIVE To mine the adverse drug event (ADE) signals of sacituzumab govitecan and provide a reference for its clinical safety application. METHODS The data of sacituzumab govitecan-related ADE reports were collected from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database from April 1, 2020 to April 30, 2024. The reporting odds ratio(ROR) method, the United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency comprehensive standard method (MHRA) and Bayesian confidence propagation neural network (BCPNN) method were used for data mining. Systematic organ classification (SOC) and preferred term (PT) in the ADE terminology set of version 27.0 of the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) were used for data classification and statistics. RESULTS A total of 753 ADE reports were obtained for sacituzumab govitecan, including 46 ADE signals, involving 12 SOCs, and 13 new suspicious ADE signals not recorded in the instructions. Top 5 PTs in terms of occurrence frequency were disease progression, death, diarrhea, off label use and inappropriate schedule of product administration. Top 5 PTs in terms of signal strength were febrile bone marrow aplasia, neutropenic colitis, disease progression, pulmonary sepsis, general physical condition abnormal. New ADE not recorded in the drug instructions included neutropenic sepsis, hepatic cytolysis, meningitis, aplasia, etc. CONCLUSIONS When using sacituzumab govitecan in clinical practice, special attention should be paid to ADE with highly reported cases and strong signal intensity, such as febrile neutropenia, febrile bone marrow aplasia, weight fluctuations, colitis. We should also be alert to new suspected ADE such as neutropenic sepsis, hepatic cytolysis, meningitis, and aplasia to ensure patient medication safety.
