Objective T o study the m orphological characteristics of the injury caused by ox horn on hu-m an body and its injury m echanism , and to discuss the rules and characteristics of injury by ox horn and provide forensic evidences for identification of such cases. Methods T he com parative analysis of po-sition and m orphological characteristics w ere perform ed by sum m arizing the data of 100 victim s gored by ox accepted by H eilongjiang agricultural areas public security bureau during 2004-2014. Results T he specific injuries only could be found at the contact positions such as thorax and abdom en, low er back and lim bs of the victim s gored by ox horn. M ost of the skin w ounds had the characteristics of sharp in-juries, the bar-type injury by club w hich called rail w ay bruise w as an obvious characteristic appeared on the soft tissue. Conclusion O x horn can cause non-specific injuries on thorax and abdom en , low er back and lim bs of hum an body, w hich are sim ilar w ith the characteristics of sharp injury and injury by club. C areful analyzation and identification should be perform ed on such injury in daily w ork.

[Objective] Scoliosis with wedging of vertebra and open-up disc space over convex side can be reversed when PRSS(plate-rod system for scoliosis)was applied.In order to study the mechanical properties of the remedy for the scoliosis by PRSS,the photoelastic test was performed.[Method] The model that consists of five vertebra bodies and four intervertebral discs was built with aluminum and polycarbonate,thus the situation of low-grade scoliosis was simulated.The axial stress was loaded 0 kg,5kg,10 kg,15 kg,20 kg respectively,and the lateral side load was 0 kg,3 kg,6 kg,9 kg,and 12 kg respectively over the spinal column.According to the factual situation,the in-situ stress was measured by using photoelastic and strain gage method.ANSYS9.0 method was also applied to simulate the experiment process and evaluate the reliability of measurement.[Result]When PRSS was placed in,compressive stress was found to exert on the convex side whereas tensile stress was found on the concave side of the curvature,thus modulating bony growth of spinal vertebra,resulted in spinal column realignment.[Conclusion]The PRSS is an effective device to treat the scoliosis of the patients,especially in young children,because it not only can correct the deformity but also allows extension along with the children's growth.

Objective To investigate the harm of drug abuse of drivers on traffic safety and discuss the countermeasures.Methods Data were collected from sources including statistics of drug driving traffic accidents reported by mass media,inference analysis of the theoretical data,survey of outpatients in drug rehabilitation center,drug-related screening with drivers license during Shanghai World Expo 2010 Moat Security and integrated data from various areas.ResultsOf the over 10 million drug abusers including the registered and unregistered in China,more than 2 million drug abusers had drivers license,which greatly threatened the traffic safety.Conclusion Drug abuse (drug driving) has done great harm on traffic safety,which calls for appropriate preventive countermeasures.

Aiming at local field potential, the present paper introduces a method of estimating lag of neuron activities between brain areas based on windowed Harmonic wavelet transform (WHWT). Firstly, the WHWT of signals of two brain areas are calculated. Secondly, the instantaneous amplitude of the signals is calculated and finally, these amplitudes are cross-correlated and the lag at which the cross-correlation peak occurs is determined as the lag of neurons activities. Comparing with amplitude cross-correlation based on Gabor wavelet transform (GWT) or Hilbert transform (HT), this method is more precise and efficient in estimating the directionality and lag.

Objective Totally MIIE with per-oral placement of anvil has been reported elsewhere,but MIIE with manual pursestring and per-thoracic port placement of anvil has been seldomly reported.The feasibility of the latter technique was proved in this study.Methods Patients with mid-lower thoracic esophageal cancer were prospectively treated with totally MIIE at Shanghai Cancer Center of Fudan University from Feberay 28,2013 to August 31,2013.Laproscopic intracorporeal construction of the gastric conduit and needle catheter J-tube were performed in the first stage of MIIE.In the second stage a hand sewn pursestring was made with endostitch system and the anvil of EEA stapler was inserted via the tenth inter costal port prior to the intrathoracic anastamosis.Short-term clinicopathologic outcomes were collected.Results 39 cases were treated with totally MIIE,media age 61 years,ranged 48-69 years,10 females and 29 males.There was 1 conversion to open surgery.The median duration of operation was 245 minutes.The median intraoperative blood loss was 210 ml.All the patients were margin negative and staged from pT1N0M0 to pT3N2M0.The average lymph node yields were 16.5 per patient.The median postoperative hospital stay was 7 days.There was no mortality.Perioperative morbidity occurred in 4 patients (10％).2 patients were complicated with late stage gastric paralysis which began 2 or 3 days after oral feeding and both recovered in 1 month.1 patient was with minor anastamotic leakage which was endoscopically demonstrated on the 14th day postoperatively and the patient recovered in 1 month post leakage.1 patient was complicated with severe pneumonitus and ARDS; the ICU stay of that case was 19 days and the recovered patient was discharged 27 days postoperatively.Conclusion MIIE with regular EEA stapler and intrathoracic anastamosis is feasible in patients with thoracic esophageal cancer.Prospective randomized clinical trials could be conducted to compare the open procedure and totally MIIE with regular EEA stapler.

Objective:To evaluate the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic jejunostomy with central venous catheterization set (CVC, Arrow International Inc., USA) during the operation of totally minimally invasive Ivor-Lewis esophagectomy (MIIE). Methods:The clinical data of 88 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who were admitted to the Fudan University Cancer Hospital from February 2013 to April 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 48 patients with early mid-lower esophageal cancer un-derwent laparoscopic jejunostomy with CVC, and 40 patients accepted nasogastric tube nutrition. Short-term clinical outcomes were collected. Results:No significant difference in nutrition index was found between the two groups, but the rate of unplanned extubation in the laparoscopic jejunostomy with CVC group was less than that in the nasogastric tube nutrition group. Conclusion:Laparoscopic jejunostomy with CVC set is a safe and feasible technique. It is potentially accepted as an optional approach in MIIE for post-operative nutrition support.

Objective High frequency microsatellite instability(MSI-H)was considered to be the phenotype of DNA mismatch repair(MMR)deficiency.However,a contradiction was noticed that p53 mutation is reposed to be extremely rare in MSI-H tumors.The aim of the current study was to confirm and try to explain this a phenomenon.We have demonstrated a direct link between MMR model and"modification"type MSI,and suggested the new categorization system of MSI by quantification of MSI profile.Based on this categorization system we studied the relationship between MSI and mutation of p53 oncogene in colorectal cancer.Methods A series of 180 sporadic colorectal cancer cases were investigated for their microsatellite status and p53 mutations.High resolution fluorescent microsatellite instability analysis assay and direct sequencing were employed in this study.Results Two definite patterns of microsatellite instability were confirmed,i.e."modification" type and "jumping" type MSI. In colorectal cancer,low frequency microsatellite instability (MSI-L)cases all showed pure"modification"type,while"jumping"type MSI changes were confirmed in all MSI-H cases.MSI-H was related with proximal tumor location and poorly differentiated.p53 mutation rate was more frequent in well differentiated tumors.Interestingly.MSI-L tumor showed a 40% mutation rate which is similar with MSS tumor 41%,however,in MSI-H tumors no p53 mutation was confirmed.Conclusions We confirm in human colorectal cancers,the"modification"type MSI might be connected with MMR defection.The mechanism underlying MSI-H phenotype was supposed to be other than MMR deficiency.

Microsatellite instability(MSI)was defined according to the frequency of positive findings in a panel of MSI markers.High frequency MSI(MSI-H)was the phenotype in which repeat sequences were extraordinarily unstable, and was considered to be the bona fide phenotype of DNA mismatch repair defection. However base substitutions in some well studied oncogenes or tumor suppressors were reported to be uncommon in MSI-H tumors. To explore this obvious contradiction, the relationship between MSI and KRAS gene mutations were studied in a panel of 76 human colorectal carcinomas, the whole exon of MLH1 and MSH2 were sequenced for MSI-H tumors. KRAS gene mutation was confirmed by similar frequencies in tumors of different MSI status. Intriguingly, all of the KRAS mutant MSI-H tumors harbored sequence alterations in MLH1gene, which was a key player in DNA mismatch repair system. This implied that in MSI-H tumors carrying MMR mutations, KRAS mutation were frequently and almost exclusively occurred. Furthermore, these MMR mutants were uniformly carrying a unique modification + jumping type MSI, which was different to MSI-H tumors without MLH1 or MSH2 gene mutations. This study shaded lights on the heterogeneity of MSI-H tumors, and implied the connection between modification type MSI and DNA mismatch defection.

Objective This paper summarize peri-operative nursing of minimally invasive surgery on osteoradionecrosis of skull base after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods 47 cases of osteoradionecrosis of skull base after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma were operated via nasal endoscope from March 2006 to March 2013.Focused peri-operative psychological support and adequate medical care were given to patients.Strengthened nasal nasopharyngeal cavity nursing,the observation and nursing of complications were carried out after operation and health guidance pre-discharge was given.Results The operations of 47 cases were successful and no major complication of intra-operation and post-operation occurred.Headache and foul odor relieved after operation.The follow-up continued for 3 to 84 months,46 cases were survived,1 case died of nasopharyngeal massive bleeding.Conclusions Effective peri-operative nursing of minimally invasive surgery on osteoradionecrosis of skull base after radiotherapy could ensure patients' cooperation and the smooth implementation of surgery and improve the quality of life.

Objective To study the effect of cryopreservation on some biological properties of rabbit adipose -de-rived mesenchymal stem cells (rADMSCs).Methods rADMSCs culture was isolated by tissue explants adherent meth-od.Morphology of the primary cells was observed by inverted microscopy .Immunophenotypes of the rADMSCs were deter-mined using flow cytometry .The third passage cells were preserved in liquid nitrogen for 6 months, and then were thawed , and subcultured to passage 7.The growth curves of the cryopreserved cells were analyzed by MTT assay , and the cryopre-served cells were cultured in adipogenic and osteogenic medium , with non-cryopreserved rADMSCs as a control group .The adipogenic and osteogenic abilities of the rADMSCs were evaluated by oil red O staining , alizarin red staining and alkaline phosphatase activity assay , respectively.Results The rADMSCs cultured in vitro exhibited a spindle-shaped appearance and rapid growth expansion .Flow cytometry analysis revealed that the third passage rADMSCs were CD 44-and CD90-posi-tive, but negative for hematopoietic cells surface marker CD 45.The growth curves of cells in the experimental and control groups were “S” shaped, showing a non-significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).The oil red O staining and alizarin red staining results were positive at 2 weeks after adipogenic and osteogenic induction .The ALP activities of the two groups were increased with osteogenic induction time , with a non-significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusions Cryopreservation does not affect the growth and differentiation pluripotency of rADMSCs significantly .
