OBJECTIVE:To establish the chemical identification method of bis muth subcarbonte in weishusan.METH?ODS:The samples were ignited,then bismuth subcarbonate in residue was identified by the identification method of bismuth of identification method of potassium iodide from Chinese Pharmacopenia,with dilute nitric acid as solvent.RESULTS:Bis?muthic salt positive result was found in all dilute nitric acid solvent,this method could eliminate the interference with identi?fication of bismuth subcarbonate from traditional Chinese medicinal components in weishusan,it could also exclude the pseu?do-positive and pseudo-negative reaction,the color was easy to identify.CONCLUSION:This method is simple and stable and therefore applicable to quality control of weishusan.

BACKGROUND:In the fluorine-containing acidic environment, it is unclear whether Damon copper- nickel-titanium arch wire can have a corrosion resistance similar to conventional nickel-titanium arch wire and whether copper ion wil affect its corrosion resistance. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the corrosion resistance of 3M nickel-titanium arch wires and Damon copper-nickel-titanium arch wires in artificial saliva with different fluoride and pH. METHODS:Potentiodynamic polarization curves of 3M nickel-titanium arch wires and Damon copper-nickel-titanium arch wires were measured in four kinds of artificial saliva (pH=7; pH=7, 0.2% fluoride; pH=7, 0.5% fluoride; pH=5, 0.5% fluoride). Then, the corrosion potential, corrosion current density and polarization resistance were acquired, and scanning electron microscope was used for morphological observation after corrosion. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: In neutral (pH=7) artificial saliva, 0.2% fluoride ions added could shift up the Damon specimen polarization curve, increase the corrosion cerrent density and reduce the polarization resistance (P < 0.05); under the scanning electron microscope, corrosion was observable on the specimen surface. But 3M specimen polarization curve did not move, corrosion current density and polarization resistance substantialy unchanged (P > 0.05), and no significant corrosion was produced. When fluoride concentration was increased to 0.5%, the polarization curves of two kinds of the specimens moved, the corrosion cerrent density increased, the polarization resistance decreased (P < 0.05), and there was significant presence of corrosion on the specimen surface. When pH=5, corrosion phenomenon was more pronounced. These findings suggest that low concentrations fluoride cannot affect corrosion resistance of 3M arch wire, but can reduce the corrosion resistance of Damon arch wire; high concentrations of fluoride and acid can both reduce their corrosion resistance. In addition, the corrosion resistance of 3M arch is stronger than that of Damon arch wire.

Objective To study expression change of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) protein and mRNA in rat brain with cerebral hemorrhage and effect of traditional Chinese medicine complex Nao Yi An(NYA) on VEGF expression. Methods The intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) animal models were made by injecting collagenase type Ⅶstereotaxically into right globus pallidus. The experiment techniques of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were employed to detect the expression variation of VEGF at 3h,6h,12h,1d,4d,7d and 14d after cerebral hemorrhage by positive cell counting as an observation index. Results The VEGF expression in the rat brains was observed at 3h after cerebral hemorrhage, raising at 6h,peaking at 12h and remaining peak until 1d. Objective To establish a hydrogen peroxide-impaired model of rat cerebral microvascular endothelial cells in vitro, and observe the protective effect of serum containing Naoyian. Method Rat cerebral microvascular endothelial cells were treated with six concentrations of hydrogen peroxide at four time points. The optimum injury condition of hydrogen peroxide was determined by MTT chromatometry. Then the cultured cells pretreated with serum containing Naoyian and pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate(PDTC) were interfered with hydrogen peroxide in suitable concentration and time, and OD of the treated cells was measured by MTT chromatometry. Results The cultured cells were injured obviously by hydrogen peroxide in 0 125mmol/L for 30min. It is reported that polyethylene glycol-lipid (PEG-lipid) derivatives increase liposomes stability, prolong the blood circulation of liposomes, enhance their tumor-targeting efficiency, and improve drug efficacy. Therefore, it is of great importance to investigate the influence of modified PEG-lipid derivatives on the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of liposomes for the promotion of dealing with the existed problems, such as the accelerated blood clearance (ABC) phenomenon when repeated intravous injection at a certain time-interval, and developing novel targeted pharmaceutical preparations. In this review, the effects of modified PEG-lipid derivatives were summarized in many aspects. It indicats that the chemical bonds (amide, ether, ester, and disulfide) between PEG and lipid, as well as the species of lipids, such as the commonly used phosphatidylethanolamine, cholesterol, and diacylglycerol have substantial effects on the grafted liposomes stability in vitro and in vivo. Besides, the properties of lipids (the fatty acid chain length and saturation) and the groups (methoxy, carboxylic and amino) at the distal ends of the PEG chains were also considered to be important factors. In the end, the influence of the average molecular weight of PEG and the molar ratio of PEG-lipid derivatives in the total lipid were further focused.
