AIM: To evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of the rifamycin sodium injection (SV) in treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. METHODS: 44 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were randomly allocated to two groups: rifamycin sodium group and routine treatment group. Chemotherapy regimens: in the rifamycin sodium group, 21 cases were treated with the regimen of 2HZE+SV/7HR; and in the routine treatment group, 23 cases were treated with the regimen of 2HRZE/7HR. RESULTS: The sputum negative conversion rate of the rifamycin sodium group was 85.7 %, and the foci vanishing rate was 90.5 %, while the both rates in the routine treatment group were 60.9 % and 60.9 %, respectively. Objective To compare the rate of blood transfusion and hospitalization duration between the occlusion of ventricular septal defect through transesophageal echocardiography and the repair of ventricular septal defect.Methods A total of 131 consecutive patients were included in the study from July of 2011 to December of 2011,75 patients of them received the occlusion of ventricular septal defect through transesophageal echocardiography,and 56 patients of them received the repair of ventricular septal defect.Results All of 131 patients had discharged without death.The group of receiving the repair of ventricular septal defect presented the higher rate of blood transfusion(x2 =81.83,P ＜ 0.01) and longer hospitalization duration than the other(t =46.57,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The group of receiving the occlusion of ventricular septal defect through transesophageal echocardiography had the lower rate of blood transfusion and shorter hospitalization duration.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect the vaccine of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS).

METHODSData of totally, 1095 individuals who were immunized with HFRS vaccine type produced by Shenyang Baiao Biotechnology, Ltd were analyzed. 1999-2000 in Laiwu City.

RESULTSMost of the individuals belonged to rural population. In most cases the vaccination was done in spring and autumn. Persons between ages 18-40 years dominated the series. The side effects of the vaccination were seen in 1.71% in which local reaction was 1.35%, general reaction 0.30%, abnormal reaction 0.06% and the lowest reaction rate was seen in the group between ages 7-17.

CONCLUSIONSThe vaccine was quite effective. Both antibody positive ratio and GMT level of antibody were high.

Objective To investigate the value of the hippocampal subfield's MRI T2 signal intensity in evaluating the effect of the hydrochloric donepezil for mild cognitive impairment(MCI).Methods 20 MCI patients with hydrochloric donepezil (treatment group) and 20 patients with placebo (control group) were scanned by MRI using FSE-T2 sequence.The margin of hippocampal subfields was outlined manually for each side to measure the MRI T2 signal intensity.The relationship between hippocampal MRI T2 signal intensity and MMSE scores was analyzed in the treatment group.Results Before the treatment, there was no significant difference of the MRI T2 signal intensity between groups.After the treatment, the MRI T2 signal intensity in the bilateral head of the treatment group was significantly decreased compared with the control group(P<0.05).There was an inverse relationship between the MRI T2 signal intensity of the bilateral hippocampal head and MMSE scores in the treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusion The MRI T2 signal intensity in the bilateral hippocampal head could be regarded as a valuable marker in making clinical diagnosis and evaluating the effect of the treatment for MCI in its early stage.

Objective To investigate the early surgical outcomes of 86 patients with complete atrioventricular septal defect.Methods Between January 2007 and December 2014,consecutive 86 cases received surgical repair in our department.There were 44 male patients,and 42 female patients.Two-patch repair was performed in 69 cases,and modified single-patch repair in 17 cases.The mean age,height,and weight at the time of operation were (32.3 ± 46.5)months with a range from 1 month to 17 years,(82.1 ±27.6) cm with a range from 53 to 165 cm,and (10.8 ± 8.7) kg with a range from 4.1 to 43 kg,respectively.Rastelli A type was found in 67 cases,B type in 15 cases,and C type in 4 cases.Down's syndrome was complicated in 6 cases.Preoperative mild regurgitation of common atrioventricular valve was shown in 32 cases,moderate regurgitation in 38 cases,and moderate to severe regurgitation in 16 cases.Mild pulmonary hypertension was observed in 15 cases,moderate in 54 cases,and severe in 17 cases.Results After operation,all patients were sent into intensive care units (ICU).The mean duration mechanical ventilation,ICU stay,and hospitalization were (30.9 ± 47.7) h with a range from 2.5 to 244 h,(87.7 ± 76.8) h with a range from 14 to 306 h,and (16.4 ±9.2)d with a a range from 6 to 50 d,respectively.We encountered 4 operatively mortalities (4.7％),including 3 in two-patch repair group,and 1 in modified single-patch repair group.The cause of death was mitral regurgitation.Conclusions Modified single-patch and two-patch technique have a satisfied early outcomes.

ObjectiveTo establish separate and appraisal methods of murine bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and optimize the suitable conditions inducting MSCs directional differentiating into adipocytes in vitro.MethodsThe differential adherence to plastic was employed to separate MSCs. CFU-f and successive CFU-f cultures were employed to characterize the potent of proliferation and self-renewal of MSCs. The different adipogenic medium was used as induction for the differentiation of MSCs into adipocytes. The differentiated cells were identified by oil red O immunohistochemistry stain.ResultsThe purified MSCs showed the morphology of fibroblasts. It was found that the number of CFU-f formation depended on the planted number of MSCs. It showed a good relationship. Small type colony of CFU-f had little potent to re-clone, but almost 90% big type colony of CFU-f had the potent to regenerate CFU-f. The MSCs could directionally differentiated into adipocytes induced by different adipogenic medium. But more than 96% MSCs differentiated into mature adipocytes when induced by combined with dexamethasone (DM), 1-methy-3-isobutylxanthine (IBMX), insulin (IS) and indomethacin (ID).ConclusionThe purified MSCs can be harvested by method of differential adherence to plastic, and these MSCs have the potent of proliferation and self-renewal. Moreover, more than 96% MSCs can differentiate into mature adipocytes when induced by combined with DM, IBMX, IS and ID.

Quantitative RT?PCR and immunohistochemistry analysis were performed to determine the CIP2A expression in SCLC tissues. Kaplan?Meier curves were used to estimate the association between CIP2A expression and clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of the patients. Results The expression of CIP2A in SCLC tissue was 7.605±1.893, significantly higher than that in the paracancerous tissues (1.041±0.786) (P<0.01) . The positive rate of CIP2A expression in cancer tissues was 82.8%, significantly higher than that in the paracancerous tissues (13.3%) (P<0.01). Objective To research the effect to the semen quality of the three operation methods of superiority of highly selective varicocele high ligation,transinguinal canal and laparoseopic of renovated polomo management of varicocele.Methods 561 patients in our hospital who charged by infertility had the operation were analyzed retrospectively and were recruited with primary varicocele above grade II for this study.These patients were divided into three group according to three kinds of operation methods of varicocele :group A was treated with highly selective varicocele high ligation and had 300 patients;group B was treated with transinguinal canal operation and had 181 patients; and group C was treated by laparescopic of renovated polomo operation with 80 patients.Through the comparing of the fertility ability of the three operation methods,to evaluate the therapeutic effect of the three methods.Results The increasing rates of the quality of semen in group B was higher than other groups if patients' ages were lower than 30.The increasing rates of the quality of semen in every group was also higher if patients' ages were lower than 30.No difference was found between three groups in natural conception rate (P＞0.05).Conclusion The methods of highly selective varieecele high ligation would be a better choice in the management of patients with primary varicecele because of higher quality of semen.
