BACKGROUND:Titanium implants as a safe biological material have been used to produce the artificial Russian titanium cornea, but complications stil exist, including artificial cornea shift, leakage, corneal tissue melting and artificial cornea discharge.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate in vivo biocompatibility of hydroxyapatite modified titanium skirt for keratoprosthesis in alkali burn cornea.
METHODS:A total of 30 alkali burned New Zealand white rabbit corneas were divided into three group groups. Hydroxyapatite modified titanium skirt (experimental group) and titanium skirt (control group) were respectively inserted into the corneal stroma of rabbits. In the blank control group, only a lamel ar corneal incision was made.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al skirts were stable without necrosis, melting and exclusion during the observation period. The number of inflammatory cells in the experimental and control groups was significantly higher than that in the blank control group at 2 and 8 weeks postoperatively (P<0.05), but there was no difference in inflammatory cellinfiltration among different groups by the 16th week. The number of corneal fibroblasts increased significantly in the experimental group compared with the control and blank control group after 2, 8, 16 weeks (P<0.05). The extracellular matrix deposited on the surface of hydroxyapatite modified titanium skirt was denser and tighter than that on the surface of titanium skirt. It indicates that hydroxyapatite modified titanium skirt for keratoprosthesis can promote the interfacial biointegration of skirt and host cornea.

ObjectiveTo investigate the inhibitory effect of polysaccharides from Sargassum fusiforme on the HepG 2 cells. Methods Six kinds of polysaccharides were prepared by hot water extracting, ethanol and CaCl 2 precipitating and acid hydrolyzing. Inhibition rate of these polysaccharides on the HepG 2 cells were determined by MTT bioassay. Results Inhibition rate of two kinds of polysaccharides increased at lower concentration. Inhibition ratie of other polysaccharides increased with the increment of concentration. At the dose less than 2000mg?L -1,inhibition rate was not more than 40%. Conclusion All polysaccharide specimens obtained from Sargassum fusiforme have some inhibitory effects on human liver cancer cells HepG 2.

To obtain non-pathogenic rabies virus glycoprotein(RV-G),we expressed RV-G in Saccaromyces Cerevisiae(S.cerevisiae).In our study,tat-G fusion gene was cloned into the expression vector pYes2.0,which allows expression of a foreign gene in the yeast cells under the control of GAl1 promoter.Transforma-tion was performed by using lithium-treated yeast cells and several Ura+-tranformants were isolated.Ac-cording to the relative mobility in SDS-PAGE,we know probably two forms(designated as yGI and yGⅡ) of RV-G analogues produced in S.cerevisiae, their molecular weights were estimated as 66 kD and 56 kD,respectively. On the other hand, there was a specific band about 56 kD shown in western blot result.Com-bining precursors’ achievements,we will draw a conclusion that trans-membrane domain(TD) and cyto-plasmic domain have a negative regulation on RV-G antigen immunogenicity in S.cerevisiae.

5 000 mg/L). ② All extracts except algin (ALG) had an obviously HSV-1 inhibitory effect. Antiviral activities of them were increasingly strengthened with their purities. Antiviral activities of extracts from flucoidan 1, F 1, F 2 and F 4 were better than acyclovir (ACV). ③ Antiviral activities of all extracts on CVB 3 were better than ribavirin injection. F 1, F 2 and F 4 had remarkable anti-CVB 3 effects. ④ The experiment showed that Sargassum fusiforme polysaccharides not only kill the above viruses directly but also restrain them via getting into cells or absorbing on cells.

10.Clinical significance of ultrasound combined with the measurement of the thickness of the lower part of the anterior wall of the uterine scar in the rational choice of delivery mode for the women of second trimester after cesarean section
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2020;27(19):2379-2383
Objective:To evaluate the clinical significance of transabdominal ultrasound combined with transvaginal ultrasound in detecting the thickness of the lower anterior wall of uterine scar in women who are pregnant again after cesarean section. Methods:From August 2017 to August 2019, 180 cases of second pregnancy after cesarean section in late pregnancy who admitted to Zhuji People's Hospital were studied. All patients were examined by transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound at 32, 34, 36 and 38 weeks of gestation respectively. The development rate of scar in the lower segment of uterus was compared between abdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound. The differences of the thickness of the lower segment of the anterior wall of the uterus in patients with different scar healing grades and the change with the increase of gestation cycle were analyzed. The delivery outcome of the patients was followed up and the statistics was made. The differences of delivery mode and the occurrence of precursory uterine rupture was recorded in different scar healing grades. Results:The uterine scar development rate in women who were pregnant again after cesarean section of abdominal ultrasound combined with transvaginal ultrasound(100.00%, 180/180) was significantly higher than that of abdominal ultrasound(58.89%, 106/180) and vaginal ultrasound(91.11%, 164/180) alone(χ 2=93.147, 16.744, all P<0.001). The difference of the thickness of the lower anterior wall was statistically significant( F=35.716-69.247, all P<0.001). The difference of the thickness of the lower anterior wall of the uterine scar between different gestational periods was statistically significant( F=15.965-24.361, all P<0.001). There were statistically significant differences in delivery mode and incidence of threatened uterine rupture between the groups with different scar healing grades(χ 2=39.669, 8.312, all P<0.001). There were statistically significant differences in the amount of bleeding during delivery and within 24 h after delivery between the groups with different scar healing grades( F=19.635, 27.174, all P<0.001). Conclusion:Abdominal ultrasound combined with transvaginal ultrasound can improve the development rate of uterine scar.Detection of the thickness of the lower part of the anterior wall of uterine scar is helpful to guide women to choose a reasonable mode of delivery after cesarean section, and guide doctors to take timely measures to prevent the risk of delivery.
