OBJECTIVEThis study aims to evaluate the optical data of the different sites of the cobalt-chrome (Co-Cr) alloy abutments covered by four different all-ceramic crowns and the color difference between the crowns and target tab using a digital dental spectrophotometer.
METHODSTen Co-Cr alloy abutments were made and tried in four different groups of all-ceramic crowns, namely, Procera aluminia, Procera zirconia, Lava zirconia (Lava-Zir), and IPS E.max glass-ceramic lithium disilicate-reinforced monolithic. The color data of the cervical, body, and incisal sites of the samples were recorded and analyzed by dental spectrophotometer. The CIE L*, a*, b* values were again measured after veneering. The color difference between the abutments covered by all-ceramic crowns and A2 dentine shade tab was evaluated.
RESULTSThe L* and b* values of the abutments can be increased by all of the four groups of all-ceramic copings, but a* values were decreased in most groups. A statistical difference was observed among four groups. After being veneered, the L* values of all the copings declined slightly, and the values of a*, b* increased significantly. When compared with A2 dentine shade tab, the ΔE of the crowns was below 4.
CONCLUSIONFour ceramic copings were demonstrated to promote the lightness and hue of the alloy abutments effecttively. Though the colorimetric baseline of these copings was uneven, veneer porcelain can efficiently decrease the color difference between the samples and thee target.

[Objective] Molecular distillation technique was applied for the separation and purification of Atractylodes Lancea oil (ALO) to increase the yield of atractylodin. [Methods] Atractylodes Lancea oil prepared with supercritical extraction was refined by molecular distillation technique. The optimum refining conditions were selected by uniform design containing two factors of temperature and vacuum and five levels. The content of atractylodin from refined Atractylodes Lancea oil was measured and the remainder after isolation was detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). [Results] A yield rate of atraotylodin from Atractylodes Lancea oil was 52.17% at the temperature of 105℃ and under the vacuum of 100 Pa. [Conclusion] The application of molecular distillation technique makes it easy to collect the volatile atractylodin from Atractylodes Lancea oil at lower temperature and under higher vacuum; this method ensures the yield rate of atractylodin over 50% and has no problem of environmental pollution.

Objective:
To explore the relationship of self-injurious behavior with peer discrimination and depression among AIDS orphans, so as to provide the basis for promoting the mental health of AIDS orphans.
Methods:
From March 2021 to March 2022, 626 AIDS orphans from 5 counties in Henan Province were selected by stratified cluster random sampling methods. Non suicidal Self-injury assessment Tool, Discrimination Experience Scale, and Zung Self-rating Depression Scale were used to investigate AIDS orphans self-injurious behavior, peer discrimination and depression. Multivariate Logistic regression model was used to analyze the relationship between self-injurious behavior and peer discrimination of AIDS orphans. Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to explore the moderating effect of depression between self-injurious behavior and peer discrimination of AIDS orphans.
Results:
The detection rates of self-injurious behavior, peer discrimination and depression of AIDS orphans were 80.0%, 73.3% and 67.6 % respectively. The detection rates of the three items mentioned above were 86.9%, 81.5%, and 77.5% for double orphaned children, respectively, which were higher than 74.6%, 67.0%, and 59.8% for single orphaned children, and the differences were statistically significant ( χ 2=21.29, 23.78, 14.23, P <0.01). The score of self-injurious behavior of AIDS orphans was positively correlated with peer discrimination and depression ( r=0.55, 0.40, P <0.01). Depression played a moderating role in the relationship between self-injurious behavior and peer discrimination of AIDS orphans ( β= 0.03, P <0.05).
Conclusions
AIDS orphans are more likely to engage in self-injurious behaviors after experiencing peer discrimination and psychological depression. The society and schools should adopt targeted intervention strategies to promote the mental health among AIDS orphans.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play critical roles in the development and progression in various cancers.Dysfunctional miR-9 expression remains ambiguous, and no consensus on the metastatic progression of ovarian cancer has been reached. In this study, results from the bioinformatics analysis show that the 3'-UTR of the E-cadherin mRNA was directly regulated by miR-9.Luciferase reporter assay results confirmed that miR-9 could directly target this 3'-UTR.miR-9 and E-cadherin expression in ovarian cancer tissue was quantified by qRTPCR.Migration and invasion were detected by wound healing and Transwell system assay in SKOV3 and A2780.qRT-PCR and Western blot were performed to detect the epithelial-mesenchymal transition-associated mRNA and proteins.Immunofluorescence technique was used to analyze the expression and subcellular localization of Ecadherin,N-cadherin,and vimentin. The results showed that miR-9 was frequently upregulated in metastatic serous ovarian cancer tissue compared with paired primary ones.Upregulation of miR-9 could downregulate the expression of E-cadherin but upregulate the expression of mesenchymal markers (N-cadherin and vimentin).Overexpression of miR-9 could promote the cell migration and invasion in ovarian cancer, and these processes could be effectively inhibited via miR-9 inhibitor. Thus, our study demonstrates that miR-9 may promote ovarian cancer metastasis via targeting E-cadherin and a novel potential therapeutic approach to control metastasis of ovarian cancer.

Objective:To investigate the effect of stilamin on mitochondrial injury of acute pancreatitis (AP)-related acinar cells and the possible mechanism.Methods:24 C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into control group, AP group and AP+ stilamin treatment group (Stilamin group). AP model was prepared by intraperitoneal injection of l-arginine in AP group, 0.4 mg/kg stilamin was intraperitoneally injected at 2 h after modeling in stilamin group, and control group received intraperitoneal injection with saline in the same volume. Histopathological examination of pancreatic tissue was performed routinely. Serum levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF- α were detected by ELISA, serum levels of amylase and lipase, and serum levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione (GSH) reflecting oxidative stress were detected by biochemistry method, respectively. Mitotracker red fluorescent labeling was used to detect the number of mitochondria in pancreatic acinar cells, and western blot was used to detect the ND-3 protein expression reflecting the number of mitochondria. The expression levels of mitochondrial fusion protein (Mfn-2) and mitochondrial transcription factor A (TFAM) reflecting mitochondrial function were determined by immunohistochemical staining. Results:Compared with AP group, the pancreatic pathology scores of mice in Stilamin group were significantly decreased [(2.07±0.50) vs (3.93±0.64)], serum amylase and lipase levels were significantly decreased [(1 493±172)U/L vs (1 832±86)U/L, (225.4±83.2)U/L vs (671.0±164.5)U/L]; serum IL-6 and TNF-α levels were greatly decreased, while IL-10 levels were obviously increased [(99.09±39.65)ng/L vs (358.60±139.22)ng/L, (22.75±11.24)ng/L vs (40.83±1.62)ng/L, (15.12±5.03)ng/L vs (9.92±8.73)ng/L]. Mitotracker staining density and expression levels of ND-3, Mfn-2 and Tfam were increased [(71.67±17.62) vs (40.00±10.15), (0.45±0.16) vs (0.11±0.05), 78% vs 54%, 86% vs 47%], and MDA, SOD, and GSH levels were increased [(5.00±1.73)nmol/mg vs (7.33±2.08)nmol/mg protein, (17.33±3.21)U/mg vs (8.67±2.07)] U/mg protein. The ratio of (131.33±20.55)U/mg to (77.33±29.69)U/mg protein was statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusions:By protecting the mitochondria number and function of damaged pancreatic acinar cells and reducing the level of oxidative stress, stilamin could alleviate the level of pancreatic tissue damage and inflammatory response in mice with acute pancreatitis.
