A sensitive, fast and comprehensive method for the quality assessment of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae (SZS) standard decoction with characterization of its chemical components was developed and validated. UPLC-Q/TOF-MS/MS system was used to identify thirty-six chemical components of SZS standard de-coction which included nucleosides, phenolic acids, alkaloids, and flavonoids. Furthermore, a UPLC-PDA method was validated to simultaneously determine adenosine, protocatechuic acid, magnoflorine, ca-techin, protocatechin, vicenin II, spinosin, kaempferol-3-rutinoside, and 6'''-feruloylspinosin which re-present four species of characteristic compounds. The qualitative method had been validated according to Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2015 edition) in terms of lineary, repeatability, recovery and stability for all analytes, with the results showing good precision, accuracy and stability. In conclusion, the method using UPLC combined with MS and PDA provided a novel way for the standardization and identification of SZS standard decoction, and also offered a basis for qualitative analysis and quality assessment of the pre-parations for SZS standard decoction.

Objective:To investigate the expression of interleukin-10 (IL-10) and chemokine receptor 7 (CXCR7) in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) tissues and their correlation with invasion and metastasis. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 68 cases of cancer tissues (cancer tissue group) and para-cancer tissues (para-cancer tissue group) collected from PTC patients in Wenzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Jun. 2015 to Jun. 2018 were selected. Meanwhile, pathological specimens from 32 cases of thyroid follicular adenoma patients (thyroid follicular adenoma group) undergoing thyroidectomy during the same period were also enrolled. Immunohistochemical SP staining was used to observe the expression of IL-10 and CXCR7 in different tissues, and the correlation between the expression of IL-10 and CXCR7 and the pathological characteristics of tumor was analyzed. Results:The positive expression rates of IL-10 and CXCR7 in cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in para-cancer tissues and thyroid follicular adenoma group (88.24% vs. 14.71% vs. 0.00%, 75.00% vs. 32.35% vs. 15.63%; P<0.05) . Among 68 PCT patients, 38 (55.88%) had high expression of IL-10, 30 (44.12%) had low expression of IL-10, 32 (47.06%) had high expression of CXCR7, and 36 (52.94%) had low expression of CXCR7. IL-10 expression was positively correlated with tumor multifocal, TNM stage, central lymphatic metastasis, central + cervical lymphatic metastasis, invasion degree and tumor maximum diameter ( r=0.486, 0.509, 0.468, 0.422, 0.629, 0.674, P<0.05) . CXCR7 expression was positively correlated with tumor multifocal, TNM staging, central lymphatic metastasis, central + cervical lymphatic metastasis, and infiltration (r=0.425, 0.563, 0.490, 0.287, 0.481, P<0.05) . Conclusions:IL-10 and CXCR7 are highly expressed in cancer tissues of PTC patients, among which IL-10 expression level is closely related to tumor differentiation degree, TNM stage, cervical lymphatic metastasis, infiltration degree and tumor maximum diameter. CXCR7 is related to TNM stage, cervical lymphatic metastasis and infiltration degree, both of which may be involved in the occurrence and development of tumor.

Objective: To investigate the prognostic value of chest computed tomography (CT) characteristics in crizotinib-treated pa-tients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Forty-seven patients with advanced ALK-rearranged NSCLC who re-ceived crizotinib treatment from January 2014 to March 2017 were enrolled in this retrospective study. Pre-treatment CT characteris-tics were evaluated. Patients were followed up after crizotinib treatment, and the best overall response and progression-free survival (PFS) were assessed according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST version 1.1). Results: The median PFS of all patients was 10 months. There was no association between CT characteristics and response. In univariate analysis, large tumor size (P=0.009), central type (P=0.002), consolidation of surrounding lung tissue (P=0.002), pleural effusion (P=0.001), and lymphangitic carcino-matosis (P=0.019) suggested a poor prognosis. Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that location (hazard ratio, 3.219; 95% con-fidence interval: 1.517-6.833; P=0.002) was an independent prognostic predictor. Conclusions: Pre-treatment CT characteristics are useful in predicting the PFS of crizotinib-treated patients with advanced NSCLC harboring ALK rearrangement.

Chinese Journal of Stomatology 2019;54(9):642-645
Graphene derivatives are the new bioactive material with good physical and chemical properties and excellent biocompatibility. It has been found that graphene derivatives can improve the mechanical properties of biomaterials and promote the adhesion, proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast-related cells, so as to promote implant-bone bonding and repair of bone defects. This makes it a research hotpot in the field of bone tissue regeneration. In this paper, the mechanism of graphene derivatives promoting bone regeneration and their application in the oral field were reviewed, so as to provide theoretical basis for their application in basic and clinical research.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2024;45(1):16-20
Objective:
To determine the association between the intake of five major types of prepackaged foods and the growth and development of school aged children, so as to provide a theoretical basis for guiding school aged children and their parents to make healthy prepackaged food choices.
Methods:
Based on data from the South West China Childhood Nutrition and Growth Cohort (SCCNG), 381 children (6-11 years of age) were selected by stratified cluster sampling. Dietary intake and pubertal development were collected using questionnaires, and anthropometric measurements were obtained. Children were followed up until November 2022. Binary Logistic regression models were used to analyze the prospective association between prepackaged food intake and the growth and development of school aged children.
Results:
The total intake of the five major types of prepackaged foods was 316.1 (197.1,501.4) g/d. After 2 years of follow up evaluations, 16.5% of school aged children were shown to be overweight and obese. Early spermarche occurred in 12.6% of boys and early menarche occurred in 15.4% of girls. The following findings were suggested after adjusting for the mothers education level, average gross monthly family income, whether or not the family had one child only, geographic area of residence, body mass index Z score, average duration of daily exercise, and total dietary energy intake: convenience food intake might increase the risk of early spermarche ( OR =9.37); fruit and vegetable intake might decrease the risk of early spermarche and menarche ( OR =0.33,0.17); and fish, poultry, meat, and egg intake might increase the risk of early menarche ( OR =7.59)( P <0.05). Intake of the five types of prepackaged foods was not associated with being overweight or obese after adjusting for confounders ( OR =1.40, 0.57, 0.73, 1.33,1.57, P >0.05).
Conclusions
The relationship between intake of the five major types of prepackaged foods and pubertal development is inconsistent and no significant correlation was detected between the intake of prepackaged foods and overweight or obese children. Nutrition education should be strengthened to help children and their parents choose healthy prepackaged foods.
