[Objective] To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Oleum Curcumae Aromaticae (OCA) on leukemia cell strain HL-60 and K562 by observing its sensitivity in inhibiting HL-60 and K562. [Methods] Subculture of HL-60 and K562 cells was performed on the 96-hole culture plate and OCA 100?L at the final concentration of 400, 200, 100 and 50mg/L respectively was added. The blank control was added with RPMI-1640 culture fluid. After 24, 48 and 72 hours of treatment, MTF 10?L (5mg/mL) was added and the inhibitory rate on the cells was assayed by detecting the absorption value at 570nm wavelength. [Results] The inhibitory effect of OCA on HL-60 and K562 increased with the treatment time. The difference of inhibitory rates 24, 48 and 72 hours after treatment were significant (P

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2007;5(3):162-165
To observe the therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture plus three-step analgesic ladder for cancer pain relief.Method:Thirty-siX cases with cancer pain were randomized into a treatment group and a control group.Twenty-four cases in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture plus three-step analgesic ladder approach and 12 cases in the control group were treated with three-step analgesic ladder approach alone.Result:The total effective rate and marked effect rate of the treatment group were 95.8%and 54.2% respectively, while those of the control group were 83.3%and 25.0%respectively,indicating a significant statistical difference (P<0.05) in terms of the therapeutic efficacy of the two groups and acupuncture plus three-step analgesic ladder approach can further improve the therapeutic efficacy.

BACKGROUND: Renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system existed in bone tissue. Recent studies on antihypertensive drugs found that angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor type antihypertensive drug was possibly effective for osteoporosis. Perindopril is one of the commonly used antihypertensive drugs. Whether perindopril affected bone metabolism or could be used in anti-osteoporosis has not been reported.
OBJECTIVE: To observe effects of perindopril on bone metabolism in a rat model of osteoporosis induced by retinoic acid.
METHODS: Fifty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups, with ten in each group. In the model group and each perindopril groups, rats were intragastricaly administered retinoic acid solution 80 mg/kg per day. After successful model establishment, rats in different perindopril groups were intragastrical y administered perindopril 2, 4 and 8 mg/kg per day, once a day, for 42 consecutive days. In the normal control and model groups, rats were given an equal volume of distil ed water. Serum calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, bone mass and bone mineral density were detected in each group. Expression of bone specific alkaline phosphatase and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase mRNA in bone tissue was determined.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared with the model group, after treatment with perindopril, serum calcium and phosphorus levels were increased, alkaline phosphatase activities were significantly decreased, bone mass and bone mineral density were obviously increased in rats with retinoic acid-induced osteoporosis. Expression of bone specific alkaline phosphatase mRNA was higher in the perindopril 8 mg/kg group than in the perindopril 2 and 4 mg/kg groups and model group. Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase mRNA expression was higher in the perindopril 8 mg/kg group than in the model group. These results indicated that perindopril could improve partial bone metabolic biochemical markers in osteoporosis rats, promoted bone formation by up-regulating bone specific alkaline phosphatase mRNA expression, and had a certain preventive effect on retinoic acid-induced osteoporosis.

Objective To investigate the mental health status and related personality type of psychological clinic adoleScent in general hospital and provide data for psychology treatment and intervention. Methods 219 adolescence consulters in 2006 were tested by symptom checklist(SCL-90) and eysenck personality questionnaire(EPQ).The caseswere separatedthree age groups,A group(16~20 years old),B group(21~25 years old),C group(26~30 years old)and disposed by SPSS 13.0.Results All factor scores of SCL-90 in psychological clinic adolescents were higher than those of youth norm in China(P<0.01).The scores of female consulters were significant higher than those of male in depression(P<0.05).The incident rate of mild mental obstacle(factor score>2)in 3 age groups were significant different. The incidence rate of B and C groups were higher A group(P<0.01).The factor scores were positive associated with P in EPQ and negative associated with L in EPQ.The obsession score of SCL-90 was negative associated with E in EPQ.Conclusions The mental health status of psychological clinic adolescents was not as good as norm adolescents. In psychological consulting and psychological health service, measures in different age and different personality could help build up healthy personality and effectively promote the development of mental health.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(22):1977-1980
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the results of hearing screening and the related factors in 3200 newborn infants, in order to know the incidence of neonatal hearing disorders.
METHOD:
Three thousand two hundred cases of newborn infants born during 2014-01 and 2015-03 were tested for hearing screening. According to risk factors, newborns were divided into the normal newborn group (2945 cases) and the high-risk neonatal group (255 cases). Using fast brainstem auditory evoked potential (AABR) to screen the hearing screening of newborn infants with 3~5 d; those who did not pass the screening, after the birth of 30~42 d re-screening; re-screening still not pass, within 3 months line diagnostic auditory brainstem evoked potential (diagnostic ABR) confirmed. Comparative analysis of newborn hearing screening by screening through rate, re-screening through rate and hearing impairment rate proportional relationship with the relevant factors, and the differences of hearing screening results in the normal newborn group and the high-risk neonatal group.
RESULT:
(1)The rate of neonatal hearing screening did not pass was 7.50% (240/3,200); 30 cases was not involved in re-screening, the rate of re-screening did not pass was 15.24% (32/210); hearing impairment rate is about 0.38%(12/3200), and the bearing impairment positive rate was 1.31% (42/3200). (2) There was no significant difference of different delivery mode, neonatal sex in newborn hearing screening through rate, re-screening through rate and hearing impairment rate (P > 0.05). Different gestational age, maternal age in newborn hearing screening through rate, re-screening through rate and hearing impairment rate, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). (3) Screening through rate and re-screening through rate of the high-risk neonatal screening group were significantly lower than the normal newborn group (P < 0.05), and hearing impairment rate was higher than normal newborn group (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Strengthen prenatal health care, to reduce abnormal childbirth conditions (preterm birth, neonatal asphyxia), universal newborn hearing screening and improve screening accuracy, and to strengthen newborns with risk factors for early diagnosis and intervention, to reduce the incidence of neonatal hearing impairment has important significance.

Objective To evaluate the dissection and hemostasis effects of harmonic scalpel in laparoscopic surgery. Methods The effect in patients underwent laparoscopic surgery with harmonic scalpel or with high frequency electricity scalpel was compared. Results All the operations were done by laparoscopy. No complications or massive blood loss occurred during and after operation. The average operation time ,blood loss of operation with harmonic scalpel were less than that with high frequency electricity scalpel. Conclusions Harmonic scalpel has precise cutting , controlled coagulation, and less tissue injury,it can increase the safety and microsurgery techinque of laparoscopic surgery. It is a very important equipmeat and useful for laparoscopic surgery .
