p53 gene mutation (exon4 , 5 , 6 . 7 . 8 and intron6) in gastric cancer and precancerous le- sions and p53 gene (exon4 and intron6) .APC gene deletion in gastric carcinomas were studied by PCR/ SSCP and PCR/RFLP. Results showed: mutation rate of p53 in intestinal metaplasia ,dysplasia and gas- tric carcinoma was 37. 5% (3/8) ,42. 1 % (8/19) , 53. 3% (16/30) ,respectively. There was significant dif- ference between groups of metaplasia、dysplasia、cancer and that of normal control. We found there were no exon8 mutation in metaplasia and dysplasia , but 4 cases in cancer group. lt is suggestted that exon8 mutation occurs at the late stage of gastric cancer , but exon 5 , 6 , 7 mutation occur in the course of pre- cancerous lesions to cancer. Loss of heterozygosity (LOH) of exon4 . intron6 . APC was 47. 4 % ( 9/19) . 8. 7%C2/23).16. 7%(3/18) ,respectively. There are some relationship between LOH of exon4 and poor- ly differentiation , lymph node metastas , depth of invasion. LOH of exon4 may be one of prognostic marker of gastric cancer. We concluded that p53 gene mutation is an early event and perhaps has syner- gism with ras oncogene in gastric carcinogenesis

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of raloxifen, a selective eastrogen receptor modulator, on postmenopausal osteoporosis.MethodsSixty six patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis were randomly divided into test group and control group with 33 cases in each group. Patients in the test group were treated with raloxifen (60 mg/day) for six months, at same time; cases in the control group were treated with placebo. Before and after treatment, routine laboratory examinations, transvaginal B type ultrasonic examination, and diagnostic curettage were performed. ResultsThe bone mineral densities of lumbar vertebrae and hip were significantly higher in the test group(60.6%) than in the control group(21.2%) (P<0.01). ConclusionRaloxifen is an effective medicine to treat postmenopausal osteoporosis, and it is also safe, without side effect of stimulating endometrim, etc.

Objective To determine the contributions of main chemical compositions of extracts of Eucalyptus camaldulensis represented by GC/MS elute peaks to the molluscicidal activities, and explore a shortcut of looking for the effective components from natural products. Methods E. camaldulensis leaves were collected consecutively in 12 months at the same place, extracted with dichloromethane, analyzed by GC/MS,and their LC50(s)of molluscicidal activities were tested according to the method rec-ommended by WHO. The correlation of the main components in 12 extracts and their molluscicidal activities were analyzed by the grey relative correlation analysis model with software GTMS 3.0. Result All the dichloromethane extracts of eucalyptus leaves showed excellent molluscicidal activities with the highest LC50 of 0.257mg/L and 0.242mg/L for the samples in June and July and the lowest LC50 of 6.802 mg/L and 5.406 mg/L in December and January respectively. The structures of 16 main chemical compo-nents were elucidated by GC/MS and NIST Mass Spectral Library, most of which were monoterpenes and sesquiterpenoids. The gray correlation coefficients with activity were all over 0.5,the first five over 0.9 were 4,4,8-Trimethyltricyclo[6.3.1.0(1,5)]do-decane-2,9-diol,(-)-Spathulenol,a structural isomer of(-)-Spathulenol,Eucalyptol and Ledol. Conclusion The most main in-gredients in the dichloromethane extracts of E. camaldulensis leaves show good correlations with the molluscicidal activity, which suggests that the molluscicidal role is synergistically played by the multiple components together.

Objective To explore the adjustment of interleukin II combining lifein for CD+4 T lymphocyte, Th1 and Th2 of patients with malignant tumor. Methods CD+4 T lymphocyte were measured by flow cytometer. Th1 lymphocyte and Th2 lymphocyte were measured by ELISA. Thirty- eight patients with malignant tumor were enrolled in the study. Interleukin II were administered at the dose of 500 000 U, i.h Qd, from day 1 to day 5. Lifein were administered at the dose of 10mg/d, i.m Qd, from day 6 to day 21 or form day 6 to day 27. The count of CD+4 T lymphocyte, Th1 lymphocyte and Th2 lymphocyte were studied before treatment, 2 weeks and 1 month after treatment. Conduct ANOYA using SPSS software. Results The expression of CD+4 T lymphocyte in patients as with increase tendency. The counts of Th1 lymphocyte, Th2 lymphocyte and Th1/Th2 were not significantly different after treatment. Conclusions The dose of this treatment could enhance the count of CD+4 T, but it could not adjust the count of Th1 lymphocyte, Th2 lymphocyte. The target of treatment about interleukin II combining lifein for patients with malignant tumor is CD+4 T lymphocyte's other subsets.
