This review focuses on the ciritical role of ?-cell dysfunction in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes.
2.Changes of T-lymphocyte Subsets Associated with Metabolic Syndrome in the Aged

Objective To investigate the correlation of subtypes of the lymphocytes with metabolic syndrome in the aged.Methods 955 aged male and 150 aged female were recruited to a cross-sectional case-control study.CD3+,CD4,CD8+,CD19+,NK cell was measured with flow cytometry.ResultsCD3+,CD19+,NK cells showed no difference in cases and in controls.CD4+/CD8+ ratio declined in subjects with metabolic syndrome,and the ratio declined further with the more criteria.The analysis of multiple analysis regression showed that metabolic syndrome depressed CD4+/CD8+ ratio in the aged.Conclusion Metabolic syndrome was correlated with the disorder of immunity.
4.FcγRIIA H/H131 genotype is associated with pneumonia:a meta-analysis

Objective To investigate the association between FcγRIIA H/H131 genotype and pneumonia through a comprehensive meta‐analysis .Methods Databases including PubMed ,Embase ,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) were searched with such terms as “FcgammaRIIa” ,“FCGR2A” ,“Fcgamma receptor IIA” ,“CD32” and“pneumonia” ,“polymorphism” ,“variant” ,“genotype” ,“allotype” ,as well as“pneumonia”and“polymorphism”in Chinese to identify relevant studies .Two reviewers independently extracted the data .Crude odds ratios (ORs) and corresponding 95%confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated .Heterogeneity across studies and publication bias were evaluated and sensitivity analyses were performed .Results Six case‐control studies were finally included in this analysis .The results indicated an association between FcγRIIA H/H131 genotype and pneumonia susceptibility (OR 1 .67 , 95% CI 1 .11‐2 .51 ) , but no significant association with R/R genotype(OR 1 .09 ,95% CI 0 .85‐1 .40) or H/R genotype(OR 0 .81 ,95% CI 0 .60‐1 .19) . Statistically significant heterogeneity was found during data pooling (I2 was 75 .4 % ,51 .8% and 71 .9% ) .Sensitivity analyses further indicated the reliability of the study .Egger′s and Begg′s tests identified publication bias in R/R genotype ,but not in H/H or H/R genotype .Conclusions We preliminarily find an association between FcγRIIA H/H131 genotype and pneumonia susceptibility .
5.Research on Influence of Cervus and Cucumis Polypeptide on the Bone Biomechanical Properties of Ovariectomized Rats

[Objective]To study whether Cervus and Cucumis Polypeptide(CCP ,Lugua polypeptide) can treat osteoporosis or not. [Methods]Forty 4-month-old female SD rats were randomized into four groups(10 in each group) ,including SHAM,0VX, OVX+CCP1 and OVX+CCP2 groups. Male rats in OVX groups take the ovariectomized surgery. Since the 13th week, rats in groups A and B got 0.9% physiological saline injection once in a day, group C was treated with CCP 0.4mL/(kg·d)injection and group D treated with CCP0.8mL/(kg·d) injection once one day. Twelve weeks later, al rats were sacrificed for obtaining specimen. Took right femurs, measured the bone biomechanical properties. [Results ]After 12 weeks since injection, the biomechanical property of right femurs in group OVX was significantly lower than that of the SHAM group( P<0.01); parameters such as maximum load and elastic load in group OVX+CCP1 and OVX+CCP2 were higher than that of group OVX(P<0.05), but lower than that of group SHAM(P<0.05). The distinction of the above parameters was significant( P<0.05)between group OVX+CCP1 and OVX+CCP2. [Conclusion]1.CCP can significantly im-prove the bone internal biomechanical properties in ovariectomized(OVX) rats, so it has function to treat osteoporosis caused by drop in estrogen level. There are differences of bone biomechanical properties aspects when treated with different dosage of CCP, which shows the tendency of dose-dependent effect. So we can conclude that CCP may have dose-dependent effect.
6.Inhibitory effect of isobavachalcone on migration and invasion of Tca8113 cells and its mechanism

Aim To explore the inhibitory effect of isobavachalcone (IBC)on migration and invasion of
tongue squamous cell carcinoma Tca81 1 3 cells and its possible mechanism.Methods Tca81 1 3 cells were
treated in different concentrations of IBC in vitro.Cell proliferation was detected by MTT;Wound healing as-say and Transwell chamber assay were used to detect the ability of cell migration and invasion;Western blot was applied to detect the expression of Akt,p-Akt, MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins.Results IBC could in-hibit the proliferation of Tca81 1 3 cells in a concentra-tion-and time-dependent manner.IBC can reduce cell migration and invasion.Western blot showed that IBC could an decrease the expression of p-Akt,MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins in a concentration-dependent manner.
However,the level of Akt was not affected by the con-centration of IBC treatment.Conclusion IBC could inhibit the proliferation, migration and invasion in Tca81 1 3 cells and its mechanism may be associated with the down-regulation of MMP-2 and MMP-9 pro-teins and the inhibition of phosphorylation of upstream Akt.
7.Polymorphs of clopidogrel bisulfate.

This paper is to report the polymorphism of raw materials of clopidogrel bisulfate at home and abroad. By the analysis of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and powder X-ray diffraction (p-XRD), samples are roughly classified into two groups, except one patent material. And the differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) examination showed more detailed information for these materials. The results of the study could provide comprehensive basis for the quality evaluation of clopidogrel bisulfate.
8.Analysis of the situation of pre-pregnancy health check in rural areas of Sichuan province

Objective To investigate the situation of pre-pregnancy health check in rural areas of Sichuan province and get the key difficult points during the process of carrying out the work.Methods According to the economic situation in Sichuan province and geographic distribution,random eight areas in Sichuan province (Chengdu,Neijiang,Nanchong,Ziyang,Meishan,Zigong,Les-han and Suining),investigate pregnant women in maternal and child health care institutions and family planning service institutions at all all levels in the areas above.Results Only 334 people (33.26%)underwent the pre-pregnancy health check during the 974 pregnant women in rural areas.The rate of planned pregnancy is low;the rate of unintended pregnancy is close to 40.00%.55.29%of the planned pregnancy women didn′t undergo the pre-pregnancy health check.And the factors that affect their behavior of under-going pre-pregnancy health check are whether planned pregnancy and personal attitude towards pre-pregnancy health check.Conclu-sion The rate of pre-pregnancy health check is low in the pregnant women from rural areas of Sichuan province,the health sector needs to make efforts to promote and enhance the awareness of the rural pregnant women to prevent birth defects and the initiative in participation.
9.Expressions ofα-catulin and E-cadherin in tongue squamous cell carcinoma tissue and clinical significance

Objective To observe the expressions ofα-catulin and E-cadherin in tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC)tissue, and to explore their relationship with the occurrence and development of TSCC.Methods The expressions ofα-catulin and E-cadherin in 55 cases of TSCC tissue and 10 cases of normal tongue tissue were examined by immunohistochemistry SP method. The relationship between the expressions and the clinicopathological characteristics and the relevance of the expressions ofα-catulin and E-cadherin in TSCC tissue were analyzed.Results The positive expression rates ofα-catulin in TSCC tissue and normal tongue tissue were 69.09% and 20.00%,respectively,and there was difference between them (P<0.01).The expression ofα-catulin was correlated to the histological differentiation,clinical stage and lymph node metastases of TSCC (P<0.05).The positive expression rates of E-cadherin in TSCC tissue and normal tongue tissue were 38.18% and 80.00%,respectively, and there was significant difference between them (P< 0.01 ). The expression of E-cadherin was correlated to the clinical stage and lymph node metastases of TSCC (P<0.05 ). There was a negative correlation between the expressions ofα-catulin and E-cadherin in TSCC tissue (r=-0.466,P<0.01). Conclusion The expressions ofα-catulin and E-cadherin may be associated with the occurrence and development of TSCC,and they could be used as the parameters which predict the malignant degree and prognosis of TSCC.
10.Aspergillus fumigatus conidia inhibit early apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells

Objective To observe the impact of Aspergillus fumigatus conidia on the early apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells.Methods A549 cells was first stimulated with tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)or staurosporine (STS)to induce cell apoptosis,and then co-cultured with Aspergillus fumigatus conidia of three different concentrations (5 × 10 5 ,5 × 10 6 ,5 × 10 7 )simultaneously.The changes of the apoptosis rate of A549 cells were detected by flow cytometry.Results The early apoptosis of A549 cells was increased markedly after stimulated with TNF-α ([14.94 ± 0.82 ]% vs [3.26 ± 0.74]%,χ2 =9.18,P <0.05)and STS ([18.10±1 .00]% vs [3.26±0.74]%,χ2 =12.32,P <0.05). When Aspergillus fumigatus conidia of different concentrations were added,the apoptosis rate was decreased (χ2 =31 .23,P <0.05 ).The early apoptosis of A549 cells was negatively correlated with the concentration of Aspergillus fumigatus conidia (rTNF = - 0.92,r STS = - 0.94,both P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Aspergillus fumigatus conidia inhibits the early apoptosis of A549 cells induced by TNF-αor STS and the inhibit effect increases with the concentration of Aspergillus fumigatus conidia.
