1.THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HLA-DRBI*07 ALLELES AND SUSCEPTIBILITY TO HBV IN THE HAN NATIONALITY IN GUANGDONG PROVINCE

To study the relationship between HLA DRB1*07 and the susceptibility to HBV in the Han nationality in Guangdong Province. 100 chronic HBV carrier individuals, 21 HBV spontaneously cleared individuals and 70 HBV unexposed individuals all of Han nationality in Guangdong Province were entered in this study. The expression of HLA DRB1*07 alleles were detected by polymerase chain reaction sequence specific primer, and IFN ? and IL 4 levels in plasma of HBV chronic carrier individuals were measured by using ELISA kits. The results showed that the positive rate of HLA DRB1*07 in chronic HBV carriers was 30%, which was markedly higher than that in HBV spontaneously cleared individuals(4 76%) and HBV unexposed individuals (8 5%) as well ( P
2.Risk factors of albuminuria in type 2 diabetic nephropathy patients

Objective To investigate the risk factors of albuminuria in type 2 diabetes nephropathy patients. Methods 870 hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were included in the study. The patients were divided into normal buminuria group (n = 634) and persistent albuminuria group (n = 236) according to the 24h urinary albumin excretion. Diabetic chronic complication and related biochemical indicators were analyzed. Independent risk factors associated with diabetic nephropathy were analyzed. Results The differences in duration of diabetes, age, SBP, DBP, Hb, HbA1C, UA, TG, CHOL-C, HDL-C, diabetic retinopathy (DR), cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease were statistically significant between two groups (P < 0.01). Regression analysis showed that independent risk factors of albuminuria of DN included duration of diabetes, SBP, Hb, UA, TG and DR. Conclusions Such risk factors of duration of diabetes, SBP, UA, TG, Hb and DR may be associated with the occurrence and severity of albuminuria of DN.
3.The relationship between vascular endothelial growth factor, endostatin and type 2 diabetic nephropathy

Objective To investigate the possible association between vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), endostatin (ES) and type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Methods The level of serum VEGF and ES were measured by ELISA in eighty type 2 diabetic patients including thirty subjects without diabetic nephropathy , twenty with microalbuminuria and thirty with macroalbuminuria, and the correlation was analyzed. Results The level of serum VEGF and ES in patients with macroalbuminuria were both significantly higher than that of patients with and without microalbuminuria (P < 0.05). The level of serum VEGF and ES in patients with microalbuminuria were significantly higher than that of patients without diabetic nephropathy (P<0.05). Both VEGF and ES level were positively correlated with the level of microalbuminuria (mAlb) (r=0.226, P<0.01; r=0.491, P<0.01), and negatively correlated with the level of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) (r=-0.237, P<0.05;r=-0.620, P<0.01). There was a significantly positive correlation between VEGF and ES in patients with microalbuminuria and macroalbuminuria (r1=0.633, P1<0.01; r2=0.532, P2<0.05). However, there was no correlation between VEGF and ES in patients without diabetic nephropathy (r3=0.175, P3>0.05). Conclusion The levels of VEGF and ES in type 2 diabetic nephropathy had varying degree of increasing in different diabetic nephropathy stage , and closely related to mAlb and eGFR. Disequilibrium of VEGF and ES may speed up the progression of diabetic nephropathy.
4.Effects of beraprost sodium on apoptosis in cultured mouse podocyte induced by angiotensin Ⅱ

Objective To explore the effects of beraprost sodium (BPS) on angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ)-induced podocyte apoptosis and the relationship between BPS and peroxisome proliferator activated receptor δ(PPARδ). Methods Differentiated mouse podocytes were exposed to AngⅡ, further treated with BPS (or GSK0660) for 24 h. Podocyte apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry and AnnexinV-FITC staining. Bax , Bcl-2 and PPARδ mRNA were assessed by RT-PCR. Results AngⅡ promoted podocyte apoptosis and Bax mRNA expression significantly, down-regulated Bcl-2 and inhibited PPARδ mRNA (P < 0.05). Conversely, treatment with BPS reduced AngⅡ-induced podocyte apoptosis and Bax mRNA expression and promoted Bcl-s expression significantly resulting in an increase of PPARδ mRNA expression (P < 0.05). With the inhibition of PPARδ, podocyte apoptosis and Bax mRNA expression increased while Bcl-2 mRNA expression reduced. Conclusion BPS can effectively reduce AngⅡ-induced podocyte apoptosis , which is associated with the activation of PPARδand regulation of Bcl-2/Bax mRNA expression.
5.Treatment of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome by noninvasive prostatectomy combined with western medicine

Objective The non intrusive ultrasound combined with western medicine in the treatment of chronic prostatitis prostate/research and analysis of the effect of chronic pelvic pain syndrome.Methods96 cases of chronic prostatitis patients who were treated in our hospital from September 2016 to were randomly divided into the observation group, the control group 1 and the control group2.The observation group was treated with western medicine in the treatment of non intrusive prostate ultrasound;1 patients in the control group were given a single non intrusive prostate ultrasound treatment;control group 2 given a single treatment with Chinese and Western medicine.The clinical symptoms and NIH-CPSI scores were evaluated before and after treatment in each group.ResultsComparison between groups of patients before treatment NIH-CPSI score, no significant difference;after treatment, the NIH-CPSI score has decreased, there are obvious differences (P<0.05);the patients in the observation group were decreased significantly, the total score before treatment (26.21±2.20), the total score after treatment (11.77±1.90), there are obvious the difference (P<0.05).The treatment groups were compared with the efficiency, the total efficiency of observation group was 93.75%, the control group of 1 patients with the total effective rate was 75%, the control group of 2 patients with the total effective rate was 68.75%, there was significant difference in the treatment effect, with statistical significance (P<0.05).ConclusionNon intrusive ultrasound combined with western medicine in the treatment of prostate in compared with non intrusive ultrasound therapy and Western medicine alone in the treatment of prostate, has more significant treatment effect, should strengthen the clinical application and promotion.
6.Risk factors for development of intraoperative hypothermia in patients undergoing thoracic surgery

Objective To identify the risk factors for the development of intraoperative hypothermia in the patients undergoing thoracic surgery.Methods One hundred twenty patients of both sexes,aged 23-83 yr,weighing 43-92 kg,of ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ,scheduled for elective thoracic surgery,who had an expected surgical duration of more than 2 h,with the core body temperature of 36.0-37.5 ℃,were included.After admission to the operating room,the core body temperature was measured.Intraoperative nasopharyngeal temperature of lower than 36 ℃ was defined as hypothermia.The patients were randomly divided into hypothermia group or non-hypothermia group according to whether or not intraoperative hypothermia occurred.Factors including the patient characteristics,the total amount of fluid infused (including the volume of blood transfused),duration and way of anesthesia and duration and type of surgery were recorded.The risk factors associated with intraoperative hypothermia were identified by logistic regression analysis.Results A total of 94 patients developed hypothermia during surgery,and the incidence of hypothermia was 78.3%.The lowest body temperature was 33.6 ℃.There was significant difference between the two groups in age,duration of surgery,the total amount of fluid infused,and the body temperature when patients were admitted to the operating room.Logistic regression analysis revealed that the total amount of fluid infused>2 000 ml (OR =3.499) and low body temperature when patients were admitted to the operating room (OR =0.074) were independent risk factors for intraoperative hypothermia in the patients undergoing thoracic surgery.Conclusion The total amount of intravenous fluid infused>2 000 ml and low body temperature when patients were admitted to the operating room are independent risk factors in the patients undergoing thoracic surgery.
7.Tumor vascular normalization improves cancer treatment efifcacy

Therapeutic strategies targeting tumor angiogenesis have been approved for cancer therapy. Vasculature normalization induced by anti-angiogenic drugs can restore abnormal tumor vessels, and improve the tumor microenvironment characterized by hypoxia, extracellular acidosis, and high interstitial lfuid pressure, improve the cancer treatment results by chemoradiotherapy and immunotherapy.
8.Analysis on the infection status of soil-transmitted nematodes in Shanxi Province in 2006

Objective To analyze the distribution status of soil-transmitted nematodes infection for prevention and treatment.Methods The inquiry field test and grade random sampling were emplyed on a group of people naturally selected in Shanxi Province.The people were examined through pathogen test and statistical diagnosis.Results A total of 7 726 people were investigated.Soil-transmitted nematodes infection rate was 18.86%.Ascaris,enterobius,trichuris,and hookworm was 15.87%,11.46%,0.82%,and 0.04% respectively.The intensity of ascaris infection was 97.74%,1.60%,and 0.66% respectively in light,moderate,and serious conditions,and that of trichuris infection was 88.89%,7.41%,and 3.70% respectively in light,moderate,and serious conditions.Conclusions Soil-transmitted nematodes infection rate is lower than that in 1992.Its cases are mainly distributed in rural areas and schools,closely related to education level.Improving water-drinking conditions and personal hygiene is still key to the prevention and control of the infections.
9.The diagnostic value of quantitative analysis of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging in prostate cancer

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of quantitative analysis parameters of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in differential diagnosis of prostatic disease.Methods 12 patients with prostate cancer and 16 patients with benign disease underwent DCE-MRI examination.Region of interest (ROI) were drawn in areas of cancerous foci,normal prostate peripheral zone and normal prostate central gland to measure the values of Ktrans (transport constant),Kep (rate constant),Ve (extravascular extracellular volume fraction).Values of the three parameters were analyzed by ANOVA and the differences were compared between the different tissues.Results The values of Ktrans,Kep and Ve were (0.42±0.10)/min,(0.64±0.11)/min,(0.61±0.14) respectively in the area of cancerous foci,while (0.17 ±0.08)/min,(0.32 ±0.10)/min,(0.59±0.11) respectively in normal prostate peripheral zone,and (0.33±0.12)/min,(0.50± 0.16)/min,(0.62 ±0.07) respectively in normal prostate central gland.The differences in Ktrans,Kep values were statistically significant between cancerous foci,normal prostate peripheral zone and normal prostate central gland (F =31.646,27.196,respectively,all P < 0.05),but no statistically significant difference was found in the Ve value between the three different tissues (F=0.533,P> 0.05).Conclusions Quantitative analysis of DCE-MBI can be used to differentiate benign from malignant prostatic diseases,which hasa great application prospect.
10.Association between mitochondrial uncoupling protein 2 gene promoter -866G>A polymorphism and ischemic stroke in diabetic patients

Objective To investigate the association of uncoupling protein 2 ( UCP-2 ) gene promoter -866G>A polymorphism and ischemic stroke in diabetic patients.Methods A total of 844 type 2 diabetic patients including 404 cases with ischemic stroke and 440 cases without ischemic stroke were selected for the 4 year prospective study,Genomic DNA was extracted from the whole blood samples of subjects,UCP-2 gene promoter -866G > A polymorphism was detected by TaqMan MGB probe method,and then the genotype and allele gene frequencies were compared.Results The risk of ischemic stroke in type 2 diabetic female patients with AA+GA genotypes of UCP-2 was higher than that with GG genotype (P<0.05),but there was no difference among male patients with three genotypes.Conclusions UCP-2 gene promoter -866G > A polymorphism increases the risk of ischemic stroke in Chinese diabetic women.
