OBJECTIVETo evaluate the clinical effectiveness of Yiqi Huoxue Tongyang Xiezhuo Recipe (YHTXR, capable of supplementing qi, activating blood, warming yang, and discharge turbidity) in treating coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CAHD). and chronic heart failure (CHF) with carotid plaque patients, and to explore new ways of Chinese medicine (CM).
METHODSTotally 69 CAHD-CHF patients of qi deficiency phlegm stasis syndrome (QDPSS) with carotid plaque were recruited in this study using parallel cohort method. They were assigned to the treatment group (35 cases) and the control group (34 cases). Patients in the control group received routine treatment of Western medicine, while those in the treatment group were additionally treated with YHTXR (twice daily). The therapeutic course for all was three months. Cardiac function levels, echocardiography, carotid plaque, blood lipids and safety indicators were observed before and after treatment.
RESULTSAfter treatment the improvement of cardiac function levels was better in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Decreased LDL-C levels were higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.01). There was statistical difference in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), carotid intima-media thickness (IMT), LDL-C, TC, TG in the treatment group between before and after treatment (P < 0.05). LDL-C and TG also decreased in the control group after treatment (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the left ventricular ejection fraction, carotid IMT, or TC in the control group between before and after treatment (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in stroke volume, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter, the area of carotid artery plaque, or HDL-C in the two groups between before and after treatment (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSYHTXR could effectively improve cardiac functions of CAHD-CHF patients of QDPSS with carotid plaque, reduce blood lipids and IMT. It had no significant adverse reactions for elderly patients in short term.

In order to identify the chemical constituents of Yushu tablets comprehensively, we studied the chemical constituents of CHCl3 extract from Yushu tablets by the ultra performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-ion trap-time of flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-ESI-IT-TOF/MS). It showed that there were more than 100 compounds separated, and forty-nine peaks among these were identified on the basis of high resolution mass spectrometry data and literature data reported. Determination of twelve peaks was further confirmed by standard substances. These components assigned to the different plant sources mainly included phenylpropanoids, triterpenoids, quinones and m-trihydroxybenzene compounds. By analyzing the chemical components of CHCl3 extract from compound Chinese medicine Yushu tablets comprehensively, this study provided the foundation for studying chemical components, pharmacodynamic substance and quality control of Yushu tablets.

Objective To study the prognostic influencing factors for intravenous thrombolysis combined with endovascular interventional therapy in patients with acute moderate to severe cerebral infarction. Methods From September 2013 to December 2015,the clinical data of 179 patients with moderate to severe acute cerebral infarction treated with intravenous thrombolysis combined with endovascular interventional therapy at the Cerebrovascular Disease Center,Shanghai Changhai Hospital were analyzed retrospectively. They were all treated with intravenous thrombolysis combined at least 1 endovascular interventional therapy (intra-arterial thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy or stenting)within 4. 5 h after onset. The patients with mRS ≤2 were divided into a good prognosis group (n = 71),those with 3≤mRS≤ 6 were divided into a poor prognosis group (n = 108)according to the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores after 3 months of treatment. The clinical data of both groups were analyzed, including age, sex, previous history, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)score and Alberta stroke program early CT score (ASPECTS)immediately before and after treatment. The influencing factors of prognosis were further analyzed with multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results The rate of good prognosis was 39. 7%(71 / 179). There were significant differences in age, history of transient ischemic attack at 1 week before the disease onset, the NIHSS score, and ASPECTS score before thrombolysis (62 ± 14 years vs. 71 ± 11 years,8. 4% (6 / 71)vs. 1. 9% (2 / 108),16 ± 6 vs. 19 ± 6,and 9. 5 ± 1. 0 vs. 8. 5 ± 1. 9,respectively;all P < 0. 05). There were no significantly difference in other stroke risk factors between the 2 groups (all P > 0. 05). There were significant differences in the NIHSS score immediately after treatment,24 h intracranial hemorrhage transformation, and intraparenchymal hemorrhage between the good prognosis group and the poor prognosis group (10 ± 3 vs. 15 ± 7,7. 0%[5 / 71]vs. 28. 7%[31 / 108],and 0 vs. 12. 0%[13 / 108];all P < 0. 01). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the age (OR,1. 047,95% CI 1. 014 -1. 081;P = 0. 005),NIHSS score immediately after treatment (OR,1. 121,95% CI 1. 050 -1. 196;P =0. 001)were the prognostic risk factors for intravenous thrombolysis combined with endovascular interven-tional therapy for moderate to severe cerebral infarction. The ASPECTS on admission (OR,0. 382,95% CI 0. 233 -0. 627;P < 0. 01)was the protective factor. Conclusions The age and the NIHSS score immediately after treatment are the prognostic risk factors for intravenous thrombolysis combined with endovascular inter-ventional therapy for moderate to severe cerebral infarction. With the increase of age and the NIHSS score after treatment, the prognosis of patients is even worse. With the increase of ASPECTS score at admission, the prognosis is better.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(5):457-461
Objective:
To understand the behavioral characteristics of vaccination of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine based on diffusion of innovation theory, and to put forward suggestions for improving the vaccination willingness.
Methods:
The women who had made an appointment or received at least one dose of HPV vaccine in two community health service centers with HPV vaccination qualification in Hangzhou were recruited by convenience sampling method. A questionnaire survey was conducted according to cervical cancer risk factors, HPV vaccine knowledge and the time of vaccination. The diffusion of HPV vaccination and the characteristics of vaccinees in different stages was analyzed.
Results:
A total of 448 women, aged from 18 to 45 years old, with a median of 30.5 years old, were investigated. The spread of HPV vaccine were divided into five stages: April 2017 and before was the initial stage, with 8 leaders, accounting for 1.79%; October 2017 to February 2018 was the slowly rising stage, with 59 early vaccinees, accounting for 13.17%; April 2018 to April 2019 was the rising stage, with 160 most early vaccinees, accounting for 35.71%; May to August 2019 was the rapidly rising stage, with 170 most late vaccinees, accounting for 37.95%; September 2019 to the end of the survey was the standstill stage, with 51 laggards, accounting for 11.38%. All of the leaders had participated in cervical cancer screening, voluntarily vaccinated, and knew the susceptible population of cervical cancer, the targeted HPV types and the suitable population of vaccine. The median age of the first pregnancy was 27 years old. Six of them had three pregnancies. The early vaccinees and the most early vaccinees were recommended by doctors or friends to get HPV vaccine. The median age of first pregnancy was 26 and 28 years old, respectively. Their other characteristics were similar to those of the leaders. The characteristics of most late vaccinees were similar to those of the laggards. They were were mainly students who were recommended by their friends to receive HPV vaccination, did not participate in cervical cancer screening, did not know the susceptible population of cervical cancer, the targeted HPV types and the suitable population of vaccine.
Conclusions
People with high risk of HPV exposure, awareness of cervical cancer and screening are more likely to receive HPV vaccination at the early stage. It is necessary to strengthen the health education of HPV vaccination, and make full use of the influence of doctors and early vaccinees, which is helpful to promote the early vaccination of HPV vaccine among the right age population.
10.Practice value of whole genome amplification technology to be used in forensic science and analysis of its result.
Journal of Forensic Medicine 2005;21(3):219-225
Genetic analysis from forensic microsamples is a urgent, difficult task in forensic science, because it is frequently limited by the amount of specimen available in forensic practice, much effort has been carried out to resolve this difficulty. Whole genome amplification (WGA) technology, which was developing quickly in these years, has been thought to be a powerful, reliable and efficient strategy in analysis of minute amount DNA on many fields. In this review, we discuss its application in forensic science.
