Objective:To assess the clinical efficacy of abdominal acupuncture for subhealth insomnia.Methods:Eighty-two cases of subhealth insomnia were randomly divided into an observation group (41 cases) and a control group (41 cases). The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture. The observation group was treated with Bo's abdominal acupuncture on the basis of conventional acupuncture.Six treatments constituted one treatment course. The measuring scale of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome for subhealth state (MSSSHS) and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) scores were compared between the two groups after two courses,to estimate the efficacy of abdominal acupuncture for subhealth insomnia. Results:One case dropped out from the observation group, while 2 cases dropped out from the control group. The MSSSHS score and PSQI score both declined after the treatment in the two groups (all P<0.05).The MSSSHS and PSQI scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (both P<0.05).Conclusion:The abdominal acupuncture is effective for subhealth insomnia, and it can enhance the effect of conventional acupuncture.

Objective To determine the effect of pnehyclidine hydrochloride as anticholinergic drug during the treatment of severe acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(SAOPP)and evaluate the safety. Methods 78 SAOPP patients was divided into control group(n=37)and test group(n=41).Atropine was as anticholinergic drug in control group and was replaced by pnehyclidine hydrochloride in test group. The persistence time of mus- carinic action, drug adverse reaction, severe complication, healing rate and therapeutic time of detoxification after these drugs being administered were observed in the two groups. Results The persistence time of muscarinic action was shorter in rest group than in control group(P

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(06):-
Objective To explore the risk factors for inguinal hernia in children. Methods A 1:1 matched case-control study which based on hospital group data was carried out.201 cases aged 0~6 years with inguinal hernia and controls were enrolled, and their parents were investigated with questionaire.Conditional logistic regression model was used for single factor and multivariate factoranalysistoestimateoddsratios(OR) and the 95% eonfidence interval(95% CI).Results Inguinal hernia was related to ehildren ' s constipation(0R=3.520,95%CI:1.238~10.015),children's cry(OR=6.532,95%CI:2.651~16.091),mother ate pickles(OR=2.529, 95%CI:1.271~5.031) and maternal anemia(OR=6.809,95%CI:2.530~18.322) during the period of one month before pregnancy and the first 3 months of gestation, the children's family history of inguinal hernia(OR=I 1.250,95%CI:4.766~26.553).Conclusion Children's constipation, children's cry, maternal anemia and eating pickles during the period of one month before pregnancy and the first 3 months of gestation, children ' s family history of inguinal hernia are the risk factors for children' s inguinal hernia.

To study the effects of conjee and cooked rice on postprandial glucose and plasma insulin levels in type 2 diatetes, and to help diabetic patients select reasonably food.41 diabetes were divided into cooked rice group ( group A),conjee with steamed bread group ( group B),and oatmeal group ( group C ).At 1 h after meal, the values of postprandial plasma glucose (PPG) was significantly lower in group C than those in group A and group B [ ( 11.17± 2.30 vs 12.88 ± 1.29,13.29 ± 1.97 ) mmol/L,P < 0.05 ].At 2 h after meal, the value of PPG was significantly lower in group C than in group A [ ( 8.88 ± 2.66 vs 10.87 ± 1.63 ) mmol/L,P <0.05 ].At 1 h and 2 h after meal, there was no significant difference between the value of PPG in goup A and group B ( P>0.05 ).At 1 h after meal, the value of plasma insulin was significantly lower in group C than those in group B [ (46.02 ± 26.32 vs 88.56 ± 68.75 )μU/ml,P <0.05 ],and there was a littler higher in group B than group A ( P>0.05 ).At 2 h after meal, there was no statistical difference of plasma insulin among group A,B,C [ ( 57.10 ± 33.56,62.26 ± 24.42,54.16 ± 41.35 )μU/ml,P>0.05 ) ].Isocaloric oat food is potentially beneficial in sustaining blood glucose status and decreasing insulin secretion. It is the ideal choice for type 2 diabetes.Meanwhile, there were no statistical differences in PPG and insulin levels between the individuals taking conjee with steam bread and cooked rice.

AIM: To analyze the results of phacovitrectomy with internal limiting membrane(ILM) peeling to treat foveoschisis in ultra-high myopia.METHODS: Totally 32 eyes of 32 ultra-high myopia patients with foveoschisis were selected retrospectively. The preoperative refractive errors ranged from-12.00D to-20.00D with the mean of-15.78±2.16D.The best corrected visiual acuity(BCVA) were converted to LogMAR acuity, and the average BCVA was 4.1±0.4.Conventional phacovitrectomy with ILM peeling by ICG dying were performed.Gas tamponade were performed to end the operation. The BCVA and the foveoschisis cavity were observed by 1-9mo after the surgery, with the mean of 4.5mo.RESULTS: The foveoschisis cavity of 30 eyes were healed with BCVA increased and visual distortion alleviated distinctly (94%)(t=-7.91, P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Phacovitrectomy with ILM peeling is useful in treating foveoschisis in ultra-high myopia with visual function preserving.
10.Repair of unilateral complete cleft lip with the method of rotation descent step by step.
Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery 2009;25(5):325-327
OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical effect of the method of rotation descent step by step for unilateral complete cleft lip with.
METHODSThe method of rotation descent step by step was used to repair unilateral complete cleft lip. Point X was located on the angular bisector of 123, rotation descent step by step and orbicularis oris degloved dissection were used. Nasal deformities were corrected at the same stage.
RESULTSFrom Oct. 2006 to Oct. 2008, 68 cases were treated with primary healing. 42 cases were followed up for less than one year. Among them, 3 cases showed asymmetric lip height, and 6 cases showed asymmetric lip width. 26 cases were followed up more than one year with only two cases of asymmetric lip width.
CONCLUSIONSThe method of rotation descent step by step is very suitable for repairing unilateral complete cleft lip. The restoration of the malpositioned tissue is especially emphasized in this method.
