Objective To investigate the relationship between bispectral index (BIS) and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) concentrations of propofol or effect-site concentrations during target-controlled infusion (TCI) of propofol and evaluate the accuracy of the infusion system targeting at effect-site concentration.Methods Twelve healthy mongrel dogs weighing (17.04? 1.53) kg were anesthetized with intramuscular ketamine 5 mg?kg-1 followed by enflurane inhalation. A catheter was inserted into subarachnoid space and advanced to the base of skull for the collection of CSF. BIS, hemodynamics and PETCO2 were monitored continuously during the experiment. Target effect-site propofol concentration was set at 3 ?g?ml-1 and infusion was continued for 15 min. CSF was collected at 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 min after infusion was started for determination of propofol concentration by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. Results The equilibrium between predicted plasma and effect-site concentration was reached at 10.9 min and the target effect-site concentration was maintained at 3 ?g?ml-1 .The peak CSF concentration of propofol was (0.29? 0.14)?g?ml-1 .CSF concentrations were much lower than the effect-site concentrations at all sampling times (about 18.7% of the effect-site concentration on average) . BIS was consistent with the CSF concentrations of propofol. Both of them reached the lowest or peak values at 5 min after infusion was started, while the peak effect-site concentration was reached relatively later. BIS was found to be better correlated with CSF concentration (? = 0.9195) than with the effect-site concentration (? = 0.554) . The dogs developed hypotension as expected but no other severe adverse effect was observed. Conclusion The inconsistency of BIS with effect-site concentration during TCI of propofol may result from its pharmacokinetic parameters. Good correlation between BIS and CSF concentration indicates that CSF concentration can reflect the pharmacokinetic profileof propofol at effect-site more accurately than the plasma concentration during TCI of propofol targeting at effect-site concentration.

Objective To evaluate the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on unilateral spatial neglect in stroke patients. Methods Published articles from the earliest date available to July, 2016 were recalled from PubMed, OVID, Embase, Co-chrane Library, CNKI, VIP and Wanfang Database. Two reviewers selected independently the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about rT-MS for stroke patients with unilateral spatial neglect, and extracted data independently and analyzed with RevMan 5.3 and GRADE profiler 3.6. Results Twelve trials that represented 353 participants were evaluated. For improving Line Bisection Test, Star Cancellation Test, Albert Test, rTMS groups were significantly more effective than the controls. rTMS groups with different frequencies all showed significantly effec-tive:for low frequency rTMS, SMD=-1.21, 95%CI=-2.17 to-0.25;for high frequency rTMS, SMD=-2.56, 95%CI=-3.54 to-1.58;for continuous theta burst stimulation (cTBS), SMD=-2.51, 95%CI=-3.66 to-1.36. Conclusion rTMS is effective on unilateral spatial neglec-tin in stroke patients.

Objective To evaluate the value of using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)technique for the detection of chromosome aberration of urine exfoliated cells for the diagnosis of bladder tumor.MethodsFISH technique were used to detect the abnormalities of chromosome 3,7,17 and 9p16 site from 20 normal people, and to establish the threshold.The morning's first urinations were available from 75 patients with bladder cancer and 25 patients without urothelial tumor, then were detected using FISH technique and urine cytology respectively.The sample was considered positive if two or more probes results higher than the criteria,or one probe has two or more abnormal results.Results The sensitivity of single using were 73.3％ (55/75),76.0％ (57/75),62.7％ (47/75) and 62.7％ (47/75) for the 4 probes (3,7, 17 and 9p16)respectively.The sensitivity of combined detection was 85.3％ (64/75) and specificity was 96.0％ (24/25) The sensitivity and specificity of urine cytology examination was 9.3％ (7/75) and 100％ (25/25) .The sensitivity of FISH examination was significantly higher than that of urine cytology examination (85.3％ vs 9.3％ ,x2 = 57.00, P ＜ 0.001) .Sensitivity of FISH examination was not correlated with cancer pathologic grading(low vs high : 84.2％ vs 86.5％, x2 = 0.08, P ＞ 0.05)and clinical stage (ta-tl : 82.9％, t2-t4 :87.5％, x2 = 0.32 ,P ＞ 0.05) .ConclusionFISH technique is a non-invasive and effective method for the early diagnosis of bladder tumor and is more sensitive than urine cytology.Furthermore, FISH technique can be used to predict the tumor's biological behavivor and prognosis.

Objective In order to find out the properly corresponding solutions of stomatology doctors' profession exhaustion,we investigated and analyzed the current situations and the influential factors.The solutions would help stomatology doctors improve the working efficiency and the enthusiasm to job.Methods The survey was conducted using MBI-GS questionnaire.Results Among all the participants 52％ had a certain degree of emotional exhaustion,58％ had emotional exhaustion,61％ were cynic and had doubts about personal accomplishments.Females were even worse than the male in emotional exhaustion.Significant correlation was found between wage satisfaction and oral health care provider's emotions (P＜0.05) No significant relationship was seen between the marital status and different nature of the unit,and the score was not statistically significant (P＞0.05).No obvious difference wss observed in different professional titles.Concltsion In Hainan Area,the stomatology doctors have partly job burnout,according to these surveys,we now taking diversified and adjusted measures to make corrections and prevent the job burnout.

Objective To assess the clinical outcome of varicose veins with incompetent great saphenous vein(GSV) treated with ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy. Methods Forty limbs with moderate to severe symptomatic varicose veins with incompetent GSV in 38 patients were injected with foam sclerosing agent (Fibro-Vein) under ultrasound guidance. There were 36 patients with unilateral varicose veins and 2 with bilateral varicose veins. No of them suffered from deep vein incompetence or perforating vein incompetence. Second injection was performed one month after the initial injection in 7 limbs. Thirty-eight of 40 limbs were followed up with clinical examination and duplex ultrasound scan 30-47 months (mean 40 months) after the treatment. Results Among 38 limbs with follow-up mild debilitation was found in two limbs(5. 3%). There were no other symptoms or complications. Duplex ultrasound demonstrated four type of results: type I, sclerosed GSV trunk with no detectable venous flow in 32 of 38 limbs (84. 2%) ;type II,patent GSV trunk in 3 limbs (7. 9%) ,two of them had mild reflux in the GSV trunk;type III,sclerosed GSV trunk and mild reflux in the GSV tributaries, 1/38(2. 6%) ; type IV,sclerosed proximal GSV trunk,patent distal GSV communicated with a superficial vein and mild reflux in the veins, 2/38 (5. 3% ). Conclusions Clinical examination and duplex ultrasound scan demonstrated excellent results of varicose veins with incompetent GSV treated with ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy 40 months after the treatment. Sclerotherapy is less invasive treatment option for varicose veins with incompetent GSV with satisfactory clinical and cosmetic outcome.

AIM: To explore the serum levels of visfatin (VF) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) in the patients with pre-eclampsia (PE) and their correlation with insulin resistance (IR).METHODS: The severe PE pa-tients (n =30), mild PE patients (n =30) and normal pregnant women (n =40) were selected according to the classifica-tion standard of PE.The serum levels of VF and TNF-αwere measured by ELISA.Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and fasting insulin (FIns) were detected by glucose oxidase method and radioimmunoassay, respectively.Triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( LDL-C) were measured by an automatic biochemical analyzer.According to calculating the mean arterial pressure (MAP), body mass index (BMI) and homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), the correlation between IR and the levels of serum VF as well as TNF-αwere analyzed.RESULTS: The levels of VF and TNF-αin severe PE group and mild PE group were significantly lower than those in normal pregnancy group (P <0.05).In addition, the levels of VF and TNF-αin severe PE group were lower than those in mild PE group (P <0.05).Linear correlation analysis showed that serum VF was positively correlated with TNF-αand HDL-C (P <0.05), and negatively with MAP and FIns (P <0.05). The serum TNF-αwas positively correlated with HDL-C (P <0.05), and negatively with BMI, TG, MAP and FIns (P <0.05).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that FBG, FIns and HOMA-IR were relative independent factors of se-
rum VF and TNF-α(P <0.05).CONCLUSION: Serum levels of VF and TNF-αare closely related to IR.

Objective:To study the influence of pomegranate tannins on the endogenous metabolites in the urine of normal rats by metabonomics method. Methods:The rats were divided into two groups, the blank control group and tannins group. The rats in tan-nins group were orally administered 78. 5 mg·ml-1 pomegranate tannins for 4 weeks. The urine samples were collected and used in the metabonomics study. The urine data were collected by HPLC-MS and comparatively analyzed using PCA and PLS-DA method in SIM-CA-P software. Results:The score points of tannins group displayed obvious distance compared with those of the blank control group, and the changes were the most obvious on the 22nd administration day. Conclusion:Endogenous metabolites in rat urine are obviously influenced by pomegranate tannins, and the research provides the basis for the further study of pomegranate tannins.

ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between the alexithymia and impact of event of the prison male offenders.Methods267 male inmates in one prison of Tangshan and 99 men from students and general workers have been tested with Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-26) and Impact of Event Scale-Revisod( IESR).Results ① The alexithymia scores of prison male offenders were more higher except for the factor Ⅰ (Prion:18.62 ± 3.61 ; general:18.00 ± 3.57 ) and factor Ⅲ ( prion:14.38 ± 3.06 ;general:14.96 ± 3.34).And there were significant differences in factor Ⅱ ( Prison:22.26 ± 3.96 ; general:19.72 ± 3.34 ),factor Ⅳ ( prison:22.38 ± 4.20;general:21.03 ± 4.03 ) and the total score (prison:77.65 ±7.22;general:73.71 ±8.32) (P＜0.01).② Sex offenders'alexithymia degree was the heaviest ( 79.90 ± 5.00 ) and violence perpetrator' degree was the lightest (77.55 ±7.43),but there was no significant difference among the three subjects(P＞0.05).There were significant differences in the evade dimension and the total score in impact of evens between the three different type prison male offenders.③There were negative eorrehtions between factor Ⅲ and factor Ⅳ of alexithymia and every dimension of impact of events( r =-0.14 ～ -0.22,P＜ 0.05),there were positive correlations between factor Ⅰ and factor Ⅱ of alexithymia and every dimension of impact of events( r =0.14 ～ 0.43,P ＜ 0.05 ).ConclnsionThe degree of alexithymia in prison male offenders is higher than the general men.The violent male offenders are served more impact of events.The higher the degree of alexithymia of the prison male offenders,the more impaction of the event they served.

Objective: To learn the health literacy level and its influencing factors among junior high school students in Jiaxing, so as to provide basis for health promotion of adolescents. Methods: The junior high school students who had been studying and living in Jiaxing for more than six months were selected by multistage cluster random sampling method. A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect general information and health literacy level (including basic knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyle and behaviors, and basic skills) of these selected students. The multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors for health literacy. Results : Of 1 773 questionnaires collected, 1 738 were valid, accounting for 98.03%. The level of health literacy in the junior high school students in Jiaxing was 22.84% ( 95%CI: 20.87%-24.82% ), The levels of basic knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyle and behaviors, and basic skills were 55.29% ( 95%CI: 52.95%-57.63% ), 21.75% ( 95%CI: 19.81%-23.69% ), 53.05% ( 95%CI: 50.70%-55.40%), respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the second grade and above ( OR: 1.609-1.835, 95%CI: 1.195-2.459 ), mother's educational level of technical secondary school/senior high school and above ( OR: 1.965-1.976, 95%CI: 1.276-3.357 ), and self-rated academic achievement of medium and above ( OR: 1.881-2.441, 95%CI: 1.359-3.335 ) were the promoting factors for health literacy level of junior high school students; self rated health status as unhealthy ( OR=0.254, 95%CI: 0.089-0.721 ) was an obstructive factor. Conclusions The health literacy level of the junior high school students in Jiaxing was 22.84%. The level of healthy lifestyle and behaviors was the lowest in three aspects. Grade, mother's educational level, self-rated academic performance and self-rated health status may have impacts on health literacy level of junior high school students.
